After hours on the phone and multiple visits to Apple and their "Authorized Service Centers" a visit here took minutes to diagnose the problem and get my iPhone up and running. I desperately needed important work information off the phone. I had mistakenly turned off iCloud backup and was looking at hundreds of dollars for a data recovery specialist to give me a text file so I could manually reenter all the lost info. For just a $25 diagnosis charge they were able to get the phone turned on and then perform a backup. If you're out of warranty on your device, these guys are awesome! I can't recommend them enough and will go here again before hassling with Apple and their "approved repairs" that don't work and cost multiple times what I payed here. read more

My iphone screen was shattered after a gentle drop (no kidding) onto the pavement of the Whole Foods parking lot. Sad times, especially when I contacted Apple and they told me they could fix my phone for $269. Way too much.. I researched between 5-10 different places on yelp and craigslist before selecting iMasterTek based upon their good reviews at their old location and the fact that they listed the best price around- $119 to fix an iphone 5s- on their website. I called and a nice guy confirmed the price so I brought my phone in later that day. My friends and I sat watching a weird show called Leverage (loved it..) while my phone was fixed in under 30 minutes. The waiting room was definitely creepy and empty.. needed some plants or magazines.. I don't know what would make it feel more comfortable but that was the only downside. There was a discount for paying in cash and I appreciated the advice I was given about how to prevent my phone screen from cracking in the future. So happy to have a new Apple screen in place instead of a spiderweb of shame across my phone. If you are going in on the weekend call ahead since the hours may vary. Pros- Fast. Three hours to fix. If you pay cash they deduct the tax. The shop owner was friendly, professional and courteous. Aside from my whining about the website quote for replacement, I was ok with the cost and understand the marketing aspect of his business.
