One of the best things on Yelp is when you find a place with really good reviews, and when you walk in it's not very fancy looking. That's when you just KNOW it's gonna be good. I've been to fancier nail salons that had okay-ish reviews, and the reviews were just that they liked the vibes. This place is totally clean and pleasant, well-lit, spacious enough -- but it's nothing super fancy, and that's how you know the good reviews on here don't lie!!! Most places don't clean up the cuticle very well and you end up with nice gel nails that cover a yucky cuticle for a few days before growing out and leaving a gap that snags on everything for the next week or so. This place does an excellent job on the cuticle, and the nail tech Melissa obliged when I asked her to get the polish as close as she could to the cuticle line. It's not fully "tucked" like a Russian style manicure, but it's very close to it and I appreciate that. The polish is also really nice and smoothed down real flat, no raised edges to get caught and snagged. I appreciate that too! I also appreciated that both nail techs, Monae and Melissa, used the efile appropriately without grinding my nailbed to shreds. That's the second biggest issue I have with most other nail salons I try, and why I rarely go to any nail salon a second time. Most places just got too nuts with the efile to the point where when your manicure wears off your nails are just destroyed underneath. They didn't do this here! Very careful with the efile and only used where needed, and my nails don't feel like a damaged flaky mess under the hard gel. Feels like they got my nails just textured enough to bond really well with the gel, minimal damage. Thanks to the restrained efiling and excellent cuticle work, my mani and pedi still aren't wearing off at all, so I figured I'd come leave a nice review here!! I'll definitely be back! read more

Let's face it, with the winter season here, my feet have been neglected and have become very dry and were in dire need of a pedicure. With a quick search, I found this shop not too far from my house. Melissa was my technician, I chose the Deluxe Pedicure with Orange sugar scrub. OMG the aroma, mixed with the foot and leg massage, was relaxing making me want to fall asleep right then and there. Everyone there treats all the customers like family. And very professional. I felt like the tech rushed through my pedicure. She also removed the toe separators too soon and my toes smudged. When I got home exactly one hour after I was done my toe nails were still wet! I don't know what kind of top coat she used but it didn't dry!!!! Very disappointing. They also didn't have the fans to dry your toes. I think they want to push the gel polish. I won't go back. I wish I had a before picture to show, but I'll just say that my feet was HORRIBLE . Melissa did my pedicure and when I say she did an EXCELLENT job she really did. She had me looking at my feet the whole weekend saying "my pedicure is so cute" lol. I had old gel already on and requested for gel again with a Basic pedicure. I felt that the process was in disarray. I noticed how the salon had kept a bin of used nail files and was reusing them along with buffer pads that were in a ziplock. I don't remember them pulling new clippers from a sterile bag neither. I felt a little uneasy with these used tools and the roughness on my cuticle. Around 10 mins into my service, another client was seated for a French Tip Pedicure, and this client finished before myself. She applied paint to my big toe for at least four minutes. I can see multiple air bubbles in the paint and paint that wasn't cleaned up around the edges. read more

Went in for a pedicure with a friend yesterday. The tech cut me to where I was bleeding in three places on one my big toe and in one place one another toe. The bleeding wouldn't stop. Here I am a day later and it is still hurting. I would not recommend this place. I've never left a place so upset and in so much pain. The lady who tried to put my sandals back on said the nail polish was not damaged even when I knew the nail hit the strap of my sandals. Unfortunately a terrible experience. I made an appointment and realize things happen. So I waited for my technician bc her previous client wanted some design. No biggie I waited, then we get to the parafin part and she has to leave to pick up her son, also no biggie, I have a kid I understand. Wait for next technician, I paid $65 for deluxe pedicure, honestly just for the 10 minute massage, which sucked. I walk a lot for work, don't have a lot of calluses, so I look forward to the massages! I tip at least 20% or more. I took a chance bc their ratings were good, but guess back to my tried and true. The nails were all different lengths(some being as short as my actual nail cut all the way down), shapes (I asked for oval and many were very round) and sizes(some nails were not fit properly and made my nails look very wide). Didn't love the pedicure i got. it wasn't as good of a deal for a basic pedi at 35. The scrub wasn't much and part of my nail's polish was missing. That's partly on me for not checking the progress. The white polish also chipped completely off on most of my toe nails. I didn't get gel, but I never do and they never come completely off like this. There's better options for a nail salon in the area I'd rather go to. Edit: I saw chipping within the first week and am only now making a review as I search yelp for a new salon. read more
