I called a few places and I was surprised to be able to get an appointment for the following week. They do make you pay a $75 deposit upfront that goes towards the visit as they've had tons of no shows. They were so wonderful with Biscuits (my possible soon to be cat--she adopted me at this point!!). She was super calm throughout the visit, especially during her shots. And she had fun playing with and inside the garbage can slot. They told me that all the cats and some of the dogs do it. Overall the visit went well and they were able to tell me what was going on right away and provide treatment. I love that they followed up with me--well more with Biscuit. When funds allow I will be back!

Purchase went smoothly and we had access to talk with her foster even after adoption. That was so helpful as we were getting used to Bella and her getting used to us. We also received shot record, spay record, etc. with our paperwork, which we passed along to our vet to begin her medical records. Her foster called her Cosette and like most families we changed her name, keeping the Cosette but adding Bella as her first name. They try to find you the most cost effective way without compromising care. I went there with a concern about my dog's eye and I had the time to discuss issues I was having with my dog's hind legs. Dr Fonza discussed and recomended a new injection and Im very hopeful. Dr Fonza was very kind to me and my dog and we both felt at ease. The Dr was very compassionate and empathetic to me when I opened up about a fear I had about anesthetics because of a past experience. He expressed sympathy and reassured me. He took his time, was through and extremely kind. I had so many vets give me a hard time or just rush Dr Fonza was a blessing. Thank you Dr Fonza I am happy I found you. God bless. Also wanted to say that the surgery went great. Got eye mass removed & dental cleaning. Dog is doing great. Dr Fonza is knowledgeable, kind, skilled, and compassionate. I took a sick cat into this place several months ago. After a very, very short glancing…read more examination, I was informed cat had a respiratory infection and was given some antibiotics and something else for the cat along with a refill. I was also presented with a bill for somewhere around $350. While giving the cat the medicine, I noticed some odd looking tissue in his gums and thought maybe this is a tooth problem. I took the cat to another vet who specialized such problems, and I was informed that it had an inoperable tumor in his head. How the hell can you misdiagnose a respiratory problem when it had a tumor in his head? I will never ever take another animal into neighborhood vet clinic again. A couple of minutes to examine a cat was not enough. . The front help were very nice and helpful, but the backside meaning the vet or whatever was back there I would consider totally incompetent at the least. Never again!

Sky had recently been diagnosed with Cushings Disease and unfortunately took a turn for the worst overnight (we have since talked to our regular vet and she believes that something else contributed to the very quick decline). I called early in the morning and was able to get an appointment for mid-afternoon. They arrived on time and performed their service in an appropriate and timely fashion. We were able to say goodbye to Sky before the procedure started and once the drugs were administered Sky passed peacefully and without issue. I had called about 6 other in-home euthanasia veterinarians, and while the price is not cheap by any means, A Peaceful Farewell was by far the more reasonably priced service.

We went to Scottsdale Pet Hotel (the available dogs are boarded there) and were asked to bring our existing dogs, which I liked. We spent quite a bit of time with Pumi (not his name anymore) and everyone who worked with us was really nice and very helpful throughout the process. We fell in love with our new family member instantly. We will be taking him to our personal vet, just to have him checked out, although he seems very healthy. We would definitely use this rescue again, and I have already told a couple people about them.

I searched and searched and searched on PetFinder and sent countless pictures of needy pets to my husband. Finally, I stumbled upon a picture of an adorable dog named Casanova. He stole my heart and I knew we were meant to be. The husband gave in. This dog was taken care of through the foster program at Mixed Up Mutts and Shepherds Too. I contacted his foster mom and we set up a meeting time. His foster mom was incredibly accommodating and went out of her way to find a home for this sweet dog. Long story short, we met and I adopted the dog that day. Now Rally (formerly Casanova) is a happy, energetic, well adjusted dog. I have a lot of gratitude for the organization that took him in time and time again after he was adopted out and then returned as if he were store merchandise. I know his foster mom took excellent care of him. I was so pleased with this organization and I found their adoption fees to be very minimal. Excellent customer service and consideration for animals goes a long way.
