Fun place. Limited selection but the wait staff is amazing. For basic KBBQ cravings can do in a pinch.

I have been here before. The staff is for the most part awesome. This wasn't the case yesterday. Friday, July 3, 2015 we had an encounter with a Hispanic waitress that accidentally dropped burning hot oil on my 2 year old as she was changing the grill. I didn't blame the waitress as my daughter was standing by her with out her realizing. What happened next clearly shows this woman should not be working there. As my daughter screamed and everyone looked I rushed to asked her where was it. The waitress simply stated I didn't touch her. Of coarse she was referring to the burning hot grill. I guess she was completely oblivious at the fact that it's usually dripping oil. As I rushed to clean my baby I had oil all over my had. Again this waitress walks away simply saying I didn't touch your daughter. I received no apology! No follow up! Not even out of courtesy. They simply treated us as if nothing ever happened. My daughter has burns on her neck, shoulder, arm, forearm and foot. She was lying not playing. This lady burned my baby and didn't care. No one there asked. I have pictures of a few minutes after and today. You can clearly see my daughter wasn't playing. Be more careful! Be polite! Even if you think you aren't wrong you work as a waitress. I hope this waitress gets some type of repercussion because I wasn't expecting a free meal or for her to kiss my feet.. But it did happen and they should have been more apologetic. read more

I went early Sat eve at 430- ..before the crowd. We we promptly seated, beers were brought and our server explained how it works.19 $ all you can eat. Meats are brought out 3 at a time or the grill will overcrowd. We gathered up noodles , gyoza fish cakes. They brought us calif rolls ...ALL INCLUDED. KIMCHEE AND SALAD BAR STUFF TOO. Came here for dinner with a group of 5 while we were in the area. Overall, I thought this place was just okay. 4 of us ordered the $11.99 ayce kbbq menu, and 1 person got the ayce sushi menu. To be fair, our server did tell us there would be delays with the sushi, although I'm not sure why since it seemed like most people at the tables around us had ordered kbbq. Anyway, it took forever for the sushi to come, and we were more than half done with our kbbq when the first sushi roll came out. Honestly, the sushi was not that good. Because it took so long for the sushi to come out, my friend decided to cancel the last order, but our server brought it over with a to-go box, since she felt bad for the delay. Now on to the kbbq, which is what I ordered. For $11.99, it's definitely a great deal. I liked the self serve appetizer and salad bar that had all my favorite banchan (korean appetizers) including kimchi, bean sprouts, tofu, cucumbers, etc. There was even tempura, which I enjoyed. I didn't try the miso soup, but my BF did not like it, so I didn't bother. I also noticed that some of the dishes at the self serve area where not fully clean so make sure you get clean dishes and utensils. We ordered the brisket, which was way too fatty, even more than usual. The chicken was good, and well marinated. Our favorite was the bulgogi, which I really liked. After your meal, you can serve yourself some ice cream from their little fridge. The green tea ice cream was delicious. Service was okay. I think they were understaffed that day so our server looked a bit stressed out. Three of us ordered iced green tea, and she brought us back some strange sweet tasting concoction that was not like any iced green tea I've ever had. She kinda noticed that all of us didn't touch it, and asked us why. She then tells us that we should have asked for unsweetened, although she did not mention anything when we ordered. She took the iced tea off our menu, which was awesome. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here, but if I was in the area and craving kbbq, then this is the place to go, I don't think there are many choices in this area. read more

I've been here several times and theres never been a wait. It's a good (only) option if you're craving korean bbq & don't want to go to the valley/la. This place is always clean & food tastes very fresh. They have different AYCE options ranging from 7.99-20, it all depends on what meat you want, if you want shabu-shabu, bibimbap, etc. I've only gotten options A-B, 12.99 & 15.99. The beef brisket is the best meat option, it cooks the fastest and I love that it gets a little crispy from being sliced so thin. As for the B option I like getting the squid. Its not chewy & it's perfect dipped in sriracha. The AYCE also includes the free salad bar: fresh romaine lettuce, fruit, assortment of korean side dishes, soup & ice cream. Its pretty good, but I wish the kim-chi was more pungent. Just missin some korean potato salad. All the Korean AYCE spots in L.A. also include steamed egg, which I wish they had too because if you've ever had it elsewhere, its so good! They have it here but for an additional 2.99 -_- In addition, the tempura they have under the heat lamp has never been tasty, the batter's dry. They now serve sushi again, but i've never tried it. The price for the food seems appropriate. They have AYCE sushi/Korean bbq or you can buy sushi rolls by themselves. My friends and I came on a Saturday night and it was packed. Also, the service was really slow. Our waitress spilled our water in front of us and splashed on our feet. She took about 20 min to refill our water after we had to ask her and we had a distasteful vibe from our waitress with a bit of a bad attitude. Other than that the food was decent. The best part was the AYCE ice cream. read more

Pros: Service is quick and friendly. Portion sizes when brought out are good(I have a family of 4). Price is fair. Place is clean. Salad bar is a great idea(gives people opportunity not to waste extras that normal korean bbq places forcefully put out upon arrival) Cons: Random maintenance work when we were eating. Need a broader selection for soups(2 soups present on menu aren't even being served). Overall place has great atmosphere and a good price for a quick fix to a BBQ craving. We took our son here for his birthday along with some of his friends. He suggested it and we had a little reservation, given Korean and Japanese are an odd combination. However, my spouse enjoys Korean BBQ while I enjoy Sushi, so this works. The restaurant has ample parking and when we visited, there was no wait. They have several large tables for bigger groups. My son was already there an ordering by the time we arrived, so not sure about an initial impression. I can say they took care of us, checked on us often, kept our beverages full and the Sushi Chef even walked over and asked how we were doing. Some meals included an all you eat salad bar, which others seemed to enjoy, I stuck to Sushi. Since my spouse was the sole order for Korean BBQ, the plates of meat were more than she could sample. If you're ordering alone, ask for 1/2 portions, allowing you to sample other meats. The Sushi was good, fresh and we had the All You Can Eat plan. We sampled a wide array and everything I had was fresh and flavorful. I would rate it higher, yet it is not a "destination" restaurant and while the food was excellent, there was nothing that special about it. Other than the menu, it was pretty standard fair, not fast food style, but more in that direction than a higher end restaurant design. I'd definitely eat here again. read more

I am glad they opened I Love BBQ in Palmdale. This place is one of my favorite places to eat in the Antelope Valley. Great food for a reasonable price. I've been here a few times & I will continue coming back. The lowest combo only cost $9.99. It comes with chicken, brisket & bulgogi beef. The next combo is $12.99. This combo adds pork chops, pork belly. There are a few more combos after that. FYI: your party has to all get the same combo. This place is all you can eat. They also have reasonable drinks. You are always greeted when you walk in the restaurant. The servers are all very friendly. There is a button at each table to call the waitress or waiter when you need something. Overall this place is quiet but it can get loud when there are large groups. FYI: if you order more meats & don't eat it, they will charge you for it. You can't take that food home. I think this is a good policy so people don't waste food. read more

Came here on a Friday night, with a group of 7, looking for an All you can eat sushi spot that didn't require you to sit at a bar. The servers were nice when they sat us down and took our order but completely forgot about us after our first round. The appetizers, specifically the mussels, were delicious. But that was about it. Great service and friendly staff. The food is typical Korean BBQ nothing spectacular; but, this is the only restaurant of its kind up here in the AV. The pricing is not expensive unless you choose unwisely. Actually I thought the low tier price was inexpensive--about $10 per person My wife and I ate here for the first time and made the mistake of selecting the 2nd tier pricing. For two it was too much food. You also have all you can eat at the salad/side dish bar. We left with full bellies and it was less than $40. But like I said, we did not chose the cheapest price. read more

Came here to try it out. Visiting cousins in the Palmdale area. Pros: friendly staff. Great service. Always checking up on us and asking if we need anything. Other Korean bbq chains are not very friendly unless you are Korean and actually talk to them in Korean. They didn't turn down the heat so much that you can't even cook food or you would have to wait for a while for your food to cook. Left the heat at just the right temp. Different options for how hungry you are and what type of food you want. Can pick out your own appetizers/side dishes. Con: no homemade desserts just store bought ice cream. It wasn't the 'funest' experience I've had, but it wasn't the worst either. The food was good, and while we had to wait a bit between plate deliveries, the wait wasn't enormous. The sauces offered to pair with the meats were good, and they were on top of it refills. Guess my only real problem was really in that my two girls (13 & 12) weren't impressed. Lets not kid ourselves, this place is ok, the prices are decent if you want to pay the lower tag price or you want to splurge on a date, prices range from $12.99 for 5/6 meats up to $19.99 for about 18 meat choices. Now if you order more then you can eat there seems to be a $12.99 charge for leftovers, not sure what leftovers means to them from a consumers point of view. Love KBBQ but this place has cheap meat,you can taste it, head to KTown if you in Los Angeles and you will know the difference, love the concept they bring to Palmdale but nope, this place isn't great. And whoever pointed out here in getting more then KTown places, then they have not been to several places and they just want to hype up this place. Servers are good, but then again there was about 7 tables I wonder how it is if it was actually packed. I didn't leave disappointed but I doubt I will return to this place. Just doesn't to it for me. Overview: hit and miss all you can eat food with decent price. Weirdly narrow booths but attentive staff This rating is based solely on the BBQ, we did not eat any sushi during our visit. The fun of this place is that you get to cook your own food at the table. There were some really weird rules at this place. You can only order more rice once you've finished what you have at your table, however the wait staff was attentive and refilled drinks and rice quickly and asked if we needed more meat. The Bulgogi was delicious! Very savory and flavorful. The kimchi was very yummy, but spicier the usual. The chicken and brisket were bland and had no flavor. Also, be careful about how much you order because if you do not eat all of what you order there is a 10 dollar charge. One thing that made the visit uncomfortable were the booths. The booths were extremely narrow so if you are not skinny you are going to be uncomfortable sitting there. read more

This was my first time here I got the sushi and my family got the BBQ. The customer service was terrible. When I got my sushi there was a fish bone in my roll. My family was 30 mins into cooking their meats when staff realized our grill was on fire. That water had to be put in, mind you they didn't even check before we got there. My family said all the meat was fat and nerves, when I immediately stopped and requested to ask for my check a staff member Michelle was extremely rude and the sushi chef stated, oh I worked hard on that roll. The rolls were sloppy and full of rice bland and disgusting. When I asked to speak with the manager that same server got snappy with me and started raising her voice. Absolutely unprofessional worse experience ever. I would never recommend! Make the drive to the valley instead. This was a nightmare. read more

Here's the thing. I like this place. I don't like venturing out to Palmdale / Lancaster since its so far from me. I dont like the drive either. Since I have a couple of friends who lives out this way I tend to make my rounds. This place is decent. I've been to good and bad KBBQ joints. I havent tried the sushi but my opinion about sushi is biased. lol Here is what's good. All you can eat! They have two menus to choose from when it comes to the KBBQ. I got the $17.99 one with all the available meat options. They have a self serve bar that has your normal go to banchan items. I like that. They are tasty. The miso soup was alright. A bit different but good. I like the tempura veggies and gyoza. The meat selection is okay. They give you a lot of meat every time. I prefer the brisket, beef belly and marinated pork belly. Those are my go to's . The staff is friendly and attentive. Oh and dont forget to serve yourself some ice cream. They had green tea and sherbet. read more

We came in for lunch on Sunday afternoon at 1pm. The sushi still tasted good, but unfortunately the service was absolutely terrible. No clearing plates, never checked on for water or drink refills, we were at the sushi bar doing AYCE and had to fill out a paper which wasn't even read. We asked for no cucumber or house sauce on anything and repeatedly still got both despite even verbally acknowledging it. We were the only ones at the sushi bar so all of this was very frustrating. We come here almost weekly for sushi. We always sit at the sushi bar. The sushi chefs are great. The sushi is always fresh. I usually start out with the heart attack. It's jalapeño with spicy tuna and cream cheese deep fried. It's delicious. My 21 month old loves it here too. She has her own routine. She starts with a bowl of edamame and sushi rice demolishes those then onto baked salmon. I get the hot sale and Sapporo. The only downfall wish they had craft beer. Hubby usually gets an albacore belly plate that he loves. The service is ok. It seems like they may have finally gotten rid of the bad few. We've never done the Korean BBQ they have however it does look pretty good and like huge portions. One great thing is it is never packed in here so you are always guaranteed a table. Terrible service. The two servers had no sense of urgency whatsoever. One of them was consistently on her phone. She played it off by placing it right in front of the POS system. Also, I watched on multiple occasions as she sat there and ate her food. The second server was slightly better but she forgot to bring us the Sprite we requested twice. In total, the far-from-dynamic duo stopped by our 4 times. Once to take our order, twice to change our grill, and then had to be stopped a fourth time to request a check. This was a far from enjoyable experience. Especially since they let the grill burn to a dark deep crisp even after the food had all been cooked. My girlfriend and I sat in a cloud of smoke for at least 15 minutes before the we stopped them to request a check. There is no reason why two servers should be sitting around texting, eating, and dancing when they have 4 tables to tend to. read more

Worst dining experience with the blonde very long hair waitress at this restaurant. We went for "all you can eat" and she said "you guys are having a lot of food" when we just had the first round of meat. I had buffet in different countries and also many in LA, but I had never had an experience like that. She also said "are you sure you can finish these" twice when I was about to add a sushi roll for my 23-month baby. I felt really bad and offensive. Of course we know we should never waste food on the table at buffet and we never did. I believe no customer would appreciate these comments and reminders from a waitress during dinner, which completed ruined our mood. Such a bad experience! Now comes to the dishes. I am an Asian and I guarantee this is not authentic Korean BBQ, from the sauces, salad bar choices, and meat varieties. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for Korean BBQ. My wife and I decided to try and tge descriptions on the menu sounded good for the sushi rolls, so we ordered 3 sets of rolls. When we arrived home the rolls were falling apart and the free salad was just soft and mushy. They had squirted some sweet sauce all over the bottom of each container and the rolls absorbed it, making them soggy and disgustingly sweet. There was nothing in the menu about this or I would have asked them not to do this. I tried contacting them through messenger as thats theyre only means of communication besides phone but never received a response. Never again. read more

My Wife and I have been to this location a few times and recently went back. The meat tastes great especially for the price paid. We would love getting a tray of meat and grilling with onions. There is also Ice Cream included. Unfortunately, the last time we went we had what may have been the worst service experience of our lives. The place was busy, however we had a very inattentive and forgetful wait staff. After we ordered our first plate we waited for our waiter to come by so we could order more. They never came by so I decided to track one down myself. I placed an order. 15 minutes later the meat never came out. I had to go to the manager and order it again. Meanwhile we had never had refills on our drinks in half an hour. I flagged down a waiter to ask for a refill on my wife's drink. He took my wife's drink and never came back. The grill we used was smoking too much at one point and it took multiple attempts flagging people down and asking them to get it replaced. Needless to say we will not be returning. read more
