This sushi location is our favorite and the only place we go within the Antelope Valley. Mr. Kim always takes wonderful care of us anytime that we are there. We get the All You Can Eat special and he always includes the soup, salad and other Special Creation rolls/dishes. It is an outstanding place for parties large or small. The service has gone downhill. We came in on a week day afternoon, around 4pm. We were the only customers and our service was below average. Not to be mean, or to discriminate, but the two black servers, the guy and the girl were lazy as hell. Again, we were the only customer there. I tried flagging them to order more meat, and to get refills on our drinks but they were both distracted behind the counter on their cellphones. 90% of the time they were on their cell phones. I had to physically walk up to them with my empty glass for a refill. Our plates kept piling up because they didn't bother to check on us. I had to wait for them to order more rice. My wife got tired of waiting and decided to stop ordering. Again, we were the only customers there. People should not be on their cell phones while they are working! If the owner of Love BBQ is reading this, talk to these two you hired. You made a bad choice in hiring them. Your going to lose customers. After going to Big Tuna for years and years we tried Loves. They are good your first few visits but then they start handing you filler food you don't ask for during the all you can eat Sushi. Big negatives: 1. This place has a new policy where if you want all you can eat sushi and another person in your party doesn't, or if they want BBQ instead, you just can't do that at the same table. They said it's because they don't want people sharing. Ok that's fine, install security cameras and let customers order what they want. 2. Wait staff took 30 minutes to bring out the food the other person in our party ordered, and told us it was because there was too much food (three rolls) on the table already. 3. Floors are absolutely disgusting! They apparently don't clean the grease that drips from the grills, so every part of the floor is actually greasy and slippery. I asked a busser about it and he said the staff doesn't notice it because they wear restaurant oil-resistant shoes, but this is not something that should be ignored and is probably a health code or safety violation. read more

This place used to be a decent spot to get Korean BBQ, they had 3 tables 2 servers. Servers hardly ever came by just kept counting tips and talking behind the counter. Marinated chicken apparently not marinated in anything because it was blander then Mike pences speeches. Brisket is fine and so is beef belly. Order a Lyon roll (avacado, crab, salmon, spicy tuna) instead got a California roll with salmon, told the server and then they spent 5 minutes debating the menu then came back and told me it's mixed in with the salmon. I don't know about you but I have never seen tuna the same color as salmon also maybe the fish is from Chernobyl because I don't see how the tuna can be mixed in with the salmon when the salmon is literally a slice. My boyfriend brought me here because he loves this place. The moment we walked in we were not greeted. The owner was by the door and just ignored us. We finally got a table and waiting 15 minutes for someone to take our orders. They did tell us we couldn't share food or we would be charged full price each. The owner (again) came and dropped off our food not a single word to us. Threw all of our meats on the grill with out asking us. She then came back around and turned off the grill while we were still cooking our meat. We then asked her to turn it back on and ignored us until we found someone decent to do it. By the time we got a waitress to come to our table to see why was going on, the excuse was "sushi normally takes longer" mind you we had been sitting and dining for an hour. We decided sushi was out of the picture since we were done having dinner, and she was only able to adjust one price because we had ordered a meat from the $19.99 deal, which we were fine with paying for because all we wanted to do was get out of that place. The owners and management staff really need to work in training their employees in proper customer service. It is ridiculous how untrained they all are. I use to go to here when I lived in the Antelope Valley and I always had a great time. I made my way up there again with a group of family and friends. The server was extremely rude to us, when we went to order she said we all had to order the same exact meal plan or we wouldn't be able to eat there? The past few times that I have gone it has been great. The food is great, especially for the price. All you can eat for $13.99 just for KBBQ is amazing and the AYCE KBBQ and sushi is also a great deal. I have not tried the sushi yet but plan to because I love sushi. On the the other hand, the customer service is decent. It's not awful but does take some time to get the attention of the waiters because the last two times I've gone there were only 2. A few years ago this place was amazing. Tonight was a completely different story. The waitress came and took our order in a timely manner. The food began to come in small increments throughout the evening. After about 15-20 min when we were about done eating, the kids meal finally came out. I told out waitress (who was friendly) that we had a small discrepancy in the bill. We did not receive one of the appetizers we had ordered. When she brought it up to one of the managers, she immediately turned towards me and yelled at me saying she brought it over. I was in shock due to her making a scene and yelling at the top of her lungs. She then proceeded to tell me that she put two of the appetizers (both heart attacks) on same plate and that I had to pay for it. She then through her hands up and walked in the kitchen. I pulled the waitress to the side and asked her how many pieces came on one of the appetizers and she said she didn't know. She just looked embarrassed and confused. My family and I have been eating here since the AYCE BBQ opened. Pros: food is good and you can get as many sides as you like. The AYCE price is reasonable for adults, but not for kids. All kids 6 years or older are now charged full price. Cons: Service is generally slow and they have a lot of worker turnover. We have tried to ignore this, but it keeps getting worse. We tried eating at the sushi bar, and the owners were the chefs. They were extremely unresponsive and never smiled or asked how we were doing, which, when eating at the bar, is a key element! Overall: the price used to be 9.99 a person, but is now $13.99 and kids are full price. With the poor service, I would say that you could find a much better deal elsewhere. My mom wanted KBBQ for Mother's Day. I was in town visiting and stumbled across this place on yelp. After reading that they have a self serve salad/banchan bar I decided to give them a call. The lady that answered told me their dinner price for the basic 5 meat AYCE was $11.99. Score. My family of 4 strolled in a little before 6:00 and we were seated immediately. So far, so good! Andrew was our server and he was amazing from the start. Very courteous and very helpful. My parents wanted to add on the squid, steamed egg, garlic chicken, and love roll so we opted for the $17.99 AYCE instead (you'll notice their different tiers when you look at the menu). I just got home an hour ago and I was eager to write the review because our waiter Andrew was dope. He mentioned he normally doesn't work Sunday's but he came in today b/c they were super busy and needed him. Even with them being busy he still tended to our needs and did it with a smile. My parents will be back and they plan to bring some church friends with them. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5, is because I wasn't too impressed by their sushi.
