I regretted going here from the min I walked in. Let's start with being seated. There is no hostess here so it's a mess and unorganized. There was a couple ahead of us waiting for a table. After 20 mins a large group of about 10 come it and their given 2 tables in about 3 mins. I went and complain and there response was "O". So they then sit us and the couple before us at dirty tables ( cause they also didn't have any bus boys). After cleaning our table I told my date I wanted to leave, my date said she really wanted to eat here and it will be fine. The waitress heard me, so she dropped the rags out of hand and came up to get our food and drink orders. The food was out in about 2 mins, so I'm guessing they gave us someone elses food cause it wasn't what we ordered. We asked 2 separate waitresses several times for vinegar. it took about 8 trips and 20 mins for us to get it. The food tasted terrible, I really wasn't happy. Came here for dinner as my father had been wanting to try them out for a while. As the host was leading us to our table, we passed by a large number of empty but completely filthy tables. After trekking through the entire restaurant and not finding a single clean table available, we were led all the way back and seated at a very awkward table by the front door. The prices didn't appear to be that great and the quality of the food that I observed from other patrons looked mediocre at best. Once we noticed the sign stating they charge $12.99 for any leftover food, we hightailed it the hell out of there and never looked back. If wanting to eat a satisfying meal in a sanitary area makes me picky then so be it. I would like to note this establishment once had another Yelp page with very poor reviews. All-you-can-eat lunch for around $10? YES PLEASE! I much prefer I Love BBQ's style of the AYCE. Instead of them just bring you dish after dish of pickled everything, they have a buffet of sides so you can pick and choose what you like and how much of it. Once my friend and I mowed through the first plate of meat, we were able to get more of what we liked, just the chicken and brisket cuts. The server was quite friendly and the venue was quite clean. I had a great time for lunch today. I found the menu a bit confusing, but I ordered the lunch special with chicken, and it was great. There was plenty of food. The broccoli salad from the sides salad bar was terrific, I had to have it all, right down to the last nibbles on my plate. The salad dressing appears homemade, which I consider a huge plus. I do see the points about the less expensive cuts of meat, but that goes along with the less expensive prices. It was not so bad as to be a game changer for me. Every time we try to eat (around 8:30) they always deny service saying they are no longer accepting customers when on their website they state they close at 10. They also say they close depending on how busy they are so then why post a closing time. This place was great! They have a variety of different meats to choose from at great prices. The bulgogi sliced beef was delicious. My wife and I went and spent about 30 dollars and left this place STUFFED. It's also nice to know that Love Sushi is still inside there! The salad bar isn't your typical American salad bar, but it is all you can eat as well. There are a variety of foods in the salad bar though. My only real gripe was that in my booth, I felt really cramped, and the burner underneath got in the way. This is really minor though and has nothing to do with the food itself. Oh! And our server, Alma, was very nice! She unfortunately forgot to put in my order of sushi, but I appreciated that she took responsibility for her mistake and jumped right on it, rather than just lying and saying she would check on it or something. I don't know where to begin. It's unfortunate that it only takes one person to ruin an experience. There is a waitress/hostess by the name of Kiana and she was VERY rude. This is my first poor score on Yelp and it is worthy of it. First we had been waiting at the front door for quite some time while we could openly see hustle and bustle from some staff and waiting about for other staff. When the hostess (one who was chit-chatting) finally came around to seat she took another couple who came in after us. While we tried to get her attention (even having to raise our voices) she continued to ignore us. First time visiting was ok...but going back just seems that it gets worse and worse by the minute. Floors are super greasy, tables are the same...it seriously needs a deep cleaning. The waitresses, well, that's a whole different story. There is one taller, skinnier, darker skin waitress, maybe an assistant manager or something, that acts like the big cheese. Well, she is far from being professional. Waitresses see you walk in the door, and we'll we follow what the sign says, wait to be seated, just to stand there and have them yell from across the establishment with, "we'll be there in a minute." Their definition of a minute is quite unique, more like 7-8 minutes (on an semi-empty restaurant). We get seated, get drinks, meat but no tongs or meat cutting scissors...until we ask! If they came around 2 times to ask if we needed more meat, that was a lot. We literally had to wave them down or ask the new waitress who coincidently had started that day. The grills...lord! They let them burn until smoke is a plume of smoke is coming from the table! Our waitress was just hanging out behind the counter eating and chatting away. Even to get our check...I had to hunt a different waitress down for it...and nobody came to pick up then check! I could have easily walked out and they would have not noticed. You cook your meats on a grill in the middle of the table but the smoke uptake system was not working properly and I was constantly being smoked out so not enjoyable that way. When it came time to order I was shocked at how she talked to us. You can't order more meat until you've finished what's on your plate at a BUFFET!!! Again the meat was bland nothing we had was seasoned, even the marinated chicken barely had flavor the only thing that made this food edible was a ton of soy sauce and sriracha. Way to go, A.V., this place is great! The servers were very accommodating, especially in light of our big, hungry party of 8 (eeep, and teenagers at that!) They were on top of it, answering all our questions about the menu, bringing whatever we needed (keep the refills on rice comin'!), and changing our stove top whenever it got too charred. We didn't even burn a piece of meat, despite us neglecting the grill at times because we're chatty - they would step in at all the best times and check in on us regularly. At the end of it, they kept our bill straight and split properly between us all, keeping in mind those of us who got drinks. It is exactly what you would expect from KBBQ. The added bonus of this place is having the serve yourself side / salad bar so you can get exactly how much of whatever you want, unlike other places with their mini, pickled sides that you aren't completely familiar with and crowd the table. Also, they really kept in mind salads and tempura for appetizers, variety of kimchi to eat with the meat, and even ice cream and fruits for dessert! The atmosphere is really fun and I'd imagine that from small parties to families, everyone has something to enjoy! read more

So I completely forgot to write this review and it still bugs me even after the fact it's been close to 3 weeks since I was last here for this horrible experience! My husband, kids and I came in the weekend after Valentine's Day, on a Friday for dinner. All of our previous experiences here have been during lunch time and every time we were so happy and kept returning. However this time was absolutely awful. We waited and wanted to sit on the sushi side which was almost empty...waiting about 30 min for a party of 4 to be seated. Almost seemed like they didn't care to even seat us at all and when they did, we sat allllll the way in the back where extreme drafts kept coming in and mind u, it's 30 degrees outside so it's pretty cold. ALL of us had to keep our sweaters and jackets on and were still cold. We ordered the usual for the kids and extra edamame for them as they love it and the AYCE for ourselves. Well our order took wayyy more than usual and given there was maybe three tables including us, I honestly didn't think ordering sushi could take that long. It was within 15 min PER roll between us both to wait for and u have to also keep in mind u are within a time limit for the AYCE. To top it off, they didn't give us everything we ordered and all of them seemed extremely overworked and had exchanges of at lease THREE different servers who didn't know what was going on and had zero communication (if you're trying to help...speak with your coworkers to know what is happening between tables). It was frustrating to say the least. My recommendation is to come during the day when the owners are usually there and u won't be neglected. The tip reflected the service and still gave close to 15% but the buss boy got the rest which we gave to personally cuz he was more attentive then the servers themselves.
