They also have some merch for sale, which adds to the vibe. I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk and the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Both hit the spot. Simple, fresh, and exactly what I wanted. The place itself is really cute, and the bathrooms are unisex and very clean (which I always notice). Staff was friendly and everything felt easy. It's also only about a 3-5-minute walk to the main square, but just far enough away that it feels a little calmer and not packed with tourists like some of the other coffee spots. The people at the counter seemed genuinely happy to be there, not just like they were putting it on for Customer Service or they were pleasant people. They also had a really beautiful outdoor area behind the shop with hammocks. Unfortunately, it was too cold to utilize it that day, but nice to know it's there! They had posted the following day that they were having an artisan market with live music and I was planning to go but we had to abandon our AirBnB unexpectedly due to a sewage pipe emergency under the street in front of the house. Your staff is the front facing asset to your business and is a direct reflection of the ownership. I am sure you guys seen many reviews talking about customer service and this is now another one. When patrons are sat in section of your wait staff and they are busy attending other tables, the last thing you should do is not acknowledge their presence. Today, we sat and watched the staff walk by us a couple of times without saying a single word. Now, we can see that they are busy, but to not acknowledge us is unacceptable. If you would have said, " good morning, I will be with your folks" OR any kind of communication to us would have been nice. I then flagged down the hostess( Aiyana) WHO WAS REALLY SWEET AND HELPFUL, to see whose section we were in. She apologized and went to let the young lady know to stop by our table. The hostess is the one who then brought us water. Eventually, the waitress finally made it our table with a greeting that was more mechanical/robotic , than caring. I eased down there and waited. One of the staff came by...and grabbed something from a shelf and walked off. Another staffer came close but ignored me. At that point, my wife returned from the restroom and gave me a quizzical look. I explained that no one seemed interested in taking an order. I asked if she really wanted a coffee and she agreed it could wait. We exited the store and headed back to the interstate. If this place doesn't want walk-in business, they should lock the door and post a sign to that effect. I'm really unlikely to be in this area again soon, but if I ever were, I certainly would not go back here.
