First off the shop is clean and the ladies were really sweet (this is why I gave one extra star) but I am Disappointed!! I had a gel manicure which normally last two weeks and it only lasted maybe 1 hour. Went back the same day for them to repair two nails. After they examined my other nails they said I was good to go and there should be no chipping. The next day two more are chipping off. I am now in Florida and have to spend another $35.00 - $40.00 to have them redone before heading out for a cruise. If I could give this place no stars I would. I went there August 20th at 12 pm. I wanted a nice relaxing time and the lady who did my nails was horrible. Kept filing them to nubs and when I pulled away she wouldn't stop. Doused my hands in nail polish remover at the end and was very rough. Now I thought the man doing my pedicures was okay but the picture with black nail polish is 2 days after and now almost 2 months later, STILL INFECTED. I've tried everything from doctors antibiotics to soaking to cream to gel, NOTHING is working. Not only did I pay 100$ for my nails and pedicure, the lady demanded I paid cash and then didn't give me a receipt and now I am paying 60$ for antibiotics for an infected toe they gave me. I am disgusted and I am stressed that I've had an infected toe, not allowing me to work to my full ability for a month and a half. read more

If anyone is looking for a good place for an excellent manicure or pedicure (they also do eyebrow waxing at a very reasonable price) , I would recommend Love Kim's Nails in the Northwest Valley (near Arrowhead Mall area). I use Tracy the most however when she's super busy, I've also had Adam and Holly do both manicure/pedicures for me. They truly listen to what you want (square or round shape, long or short). I've never had anybody be even remotely rude contrary to what some other reviewers have said, but also I'm not somebody that expects to have my butt kissed when I go in for salon service. I stopped going here around 2017 but at the beginning of January I decided to give it another try since I was in need of a gel manicure The place definitely got got a face lift and it looks so much better inside overall. I had made an appointment for a Saturday morning and was seated right when I walked in, no waiting! Everyone was really friendly and they tons of colors for gel, SNS, and regular polish to chose from. My nail tech did talk me into SNS powder and I was a little hesitant at first but she promised I would like it more than gel..and she was right! My nails grew like crazy in the two weeks between appointments! My second appointment, yesterday, was just as great. The techs were so friendly and even remembered me from the last time! The process of removing the SNS powder from the last set was so easy and didnt irritate my nails at all! I'm in love with dip powder and the new techs and management Love Kim has! I made an appointment at this nail salon on 10/26 for Friday 11/04 at 5:30 pm. I had called and stated I wanted a full set with medium length almond shaped nails with a design and asked for the price. They told me $50, which I thought was a great price. When I arrived they greeted me and told me to take a seat. there were very few customers in there but it still took them at least 5 minutes or so to bring me a gel color book. I picked out the color I wanted and it took them almost thirty minutes past my appointment time to be seen. The coworkers also seemed to be arguing with one another in front of the customers. The woman who started my full set was absolutely amazing and I wish I had gotten her name because she was so kind to me. I showed her the picture of the set I wanted and told her I was quoted $50 over the phone. At that moment I had decided to get them longer and I knew it would up the price and I was completely fine with that! She asked how long and I told her and at first she seemed to get frustrated but I believe it was because it was obvious that establishment had been having pricing issues because she told who I believe the to be the manager about my set and how much I was quoted. The Manager then seemed to kind of freak out on me telling me about how the price I had is completely inaccurate. I told the women doing my nails that I had no problem paying what they need to charge, I was just communicating the price I was told. She seemed to completely understand and still told me she would only charge me $50 which was so kind of her! A man came up to me while she was shaping my nails and started "dumbing down" the pricing to me. The woman stopped him and said she already told me that she's doing $50. He seemed irritated and left. After she shaped my nails she told me that he was going to finish them for me but to make sure he doesn't up the price on me. Once he took over he talked about how I had the wrong prices more than once, and honestly it made my entire visit completely uncomfortable. I was so ready for my nails to be done so I could leave! I will attach photos but on three nails there was supposed to be a milky white/ neutral base with a maroon ish color design on top. He asked if I wanted the base color and I said yes is there an extra charge (even tho i don't think there should have been that's besides the point) He said for the base color I wanted it would be an extra $5. I agreed to pay that and then he puts a BRIGHT WHITE base! It looked nothing like the photo which he has pulled up the entire time. I immediately could tell it looked way off but he's a professional so I was going to let him finish. The middle finger had a two squiggly line design and the thumb and the other design nail were supposed to have maroon tips. He added multiple squiggly lines which in turn made my nail look like a candy cane! nothing like I wanted! The tips also were sloppy and rushed. I wanted to leave so bad I just paid and left. When I got home I looked at them and realized I actually hated them! I was super upset and on Monday morning I made a call stating that the designs aren't what I wanted and I just wanted to get them painted over in the solid maroon color on my other two nails. He then stated that it would still cost $10, but I was so upset with them I decided to go in on Wednesday after work. I arrived and immediately confirmed that it would only be $10 to paint over and he said yes but that they were busy and I needed to wait a little bit. After about thirty minutes I was seen my another man and he was very kind as well and did an amazing job at painting over them. When they were done i went to pay and they said $15. I got flustered and explained that I confirmed when I got there that it would only be $10. The man who told me started going on about how I was removing the whole nail, ect he wasn't making sense. The guy who fixed them kept telling him that wasn't what I got done and that I was just getting them painted over and finally just told me "just $10 is fine you're good to go". This location is super close to my house but I will NOT be returning. Horrible customer service and professionalism. Also they won't do what you ask for. read more

Really sad to have to post this. I used to go to this salon for years with my mom. We didn't go in for about a year or so because I moved away from the west valley but moved back and decided to go in. The ladies there aren't very welcoming. They asked if we had an appointment and when we said no the one lady made a really disgusted look on her face. My mom is oblivious to rudeness so she booked one anyways and we came back an hour later. When we came back they sat me and my nail lady, Holly, came over and started filing my old color off my nails, while stopping every 2 seconds to text on her phone. She finishes 2 fingers and says "wait here I'll be back" and so I sat and waited another 20 minutes to have my filing finished. She comes back and finishes but again she's on her phone over half the time she's doing my nails and it's just aggravating. I should at least say my pedicure is perfect- I love it. Absolutely flawless. No complaints there. But my manicure left me in tears and getting the opposite of what I asked for. I'm 8 months pregnant and I wanted to start fresh and have natural, short nails, with just a shear pink coat on them. As natural as possible, I told her that over and over. I'll post below the picture I showed her vs. what I left with. First of all, since she was texting on her phone so much she probably didn't pay attention to the nail image I showed her, and so after she did the shear pink coat I guess she decided to do her own thing? She started painting French tips which I didn't want because I'm on a budget and I knew that would just make the price go up, but since I'm not a confrontational person and she already started, I didn't say anything. That's my mistake, I know. Then after she did it she says I should at least do ombré because it would be less maintenance and I agreed with her so I said okay, I guess that's fine, I mean she had already started doing her own thing anyways. Still not following the image I showed her. Unfortunately, she's not very good at ombré nails at all, and they look splotchy and rushed. And usually, when I get an ombré, it's done with dip, not gel. Which is ironic because my moms nail tech Jason did dip for her ombré (she actually asked for ombré unlike me) and hers turned out BEAUTIFUL. Then she grabbed (what I thought) was a clear coat polish, but no... she grabbed a clear polish with sparkles and just starts doing her thing AGAIN. I was really upset at that point and tried hard to downplay it because I didn't want to cause a fuss. Again my mistake, but I've been going there for years and didn't want to seem rude. But it killed my whole vibe. She finally cured my nails with the blue light but she's on her phone texting and she keeps turning the blue light on and it's BURNING MY FINGERS like so bad and she's not paying attention because she's texting on her phone again... I just wanted to get out of the chair. At the end she charged me $97 for my mani pedi and I just couldn't believe it. I know my pedi was about $50 which is fine, but to have paid $47 for a manicure that I didn't want and my whole reason for going natural and simple was to have an inexpensive manicure, it was just a big disappointment and at that point I'm sure my face showed it cause I was not happy. Unfortunately I won't be back because I left and started crying over the experience. Below are the pictures of what I asked for vs. what I received Update: less than 5 days after my appointment my gel is peeling off. I got my nails done for my baby shower and they are completely peeling off. I'm so disappointed... I added a picture below. 2nd update: Thursday I went in because they let me come back to get both of my thumbs fixed, and I felt so awkward going in, Holly did my nails again, which I really didn't want her to but I don't think I had a choice. She was pretty rude, didn't apologize for my nails being messed up, hardly spoke to me and when she finished she said "you can go now" how friendly right? I felt really unwelcome. To top it all off, here it is Saturday, 2 days later, and my gel is peeling AGAIN. I give up. I'm never going there again. And my baby shower is in a few days, my nails look horrible and I didn't even mess with them. Terrible job, I'm so disappointed. I haven't done a pink and white full set before so her making sure they were to my liking definitely kept my nerves down.
