I had a very upsetting and uncomfortable experience at this laundromat on Thursday, July 31st at around 6:55 PM. The woman working there was extremely rude and unprofessional from the moment we arrived. She got mad at us for not telling her to turn on the machines or handing her money directly -- something that has never been required before. Later, when I went to use the dryers on the side I always use (which were empty at the time), she told me I wasn't allowed to use them -- even though the other side was completely full. Then she let two boys use those same dryers. I had already started drying my clothes, but she stopped the machines and tried to take my clothes out to give the dryers to them. She also charged me $2 per dryer, even though the laundromat clearly advertises free drying. To make things worse, she (OlIVIA)then called her friends to come hang out with her at the laundromat, and they began saying indirect threats in Spanish, saying they would beat us up. It was completely unprofessional and made me feel unsafe. I've never had an issue here before, but this experience was unacceptable. I hope management takes this seriously and holds their staff accountable for this kind of behavior. No customer should be treated this way. read more

Went to check on my clothes, and the lady that works there Veronica had poured a powdered soap all over my clothes that were finished washing. Instead of being nice about it she was rude and just said "im washing them again." I told her you need to apologize and I use a certain detergent I have know idea what you put on my clothes. And know I have to stay here even longer than expected, when I have to prepare for work early in the morning. She was trying to raise her voice, I had to tell her who are you talking to like that. I saw a lady in a pink vest put a code in for the bathroom for another customer. when the customer finished I asked the lady what the code was to use the bathroom and she told me "I don't know the code so you can't use it" In a rude tone. so I smile and reply "I saw you let another lady use it can you just let me in" and she then replies "yeah someone's in there you can't use it" as if I would have came over knowing the lady was still in there. just disrespectful as if I was taking time away from her job when she was on her phone after changing the YouTube video on the screen. I was a regular customer until today. Im  early morning washer. I arrived at 5:45 am, lights on, tv on and others waiting. I go to the door, it's locked. Nothing like advertise. It's dirty and smelly and disgusting. Some of the windows must've been out and there's wood planks against them. I went to use to change machine and it tore my money so I couldn't get changed, but I was very pleased to see that someone came up to me and said she would help me and she took my Torn money and she just reset the machine so it would work and then I was sitting in my car waiting and came out and started screaming at me that I gave her torn money . She's gone the whole thing happen so now I had to give her an additional amount of money because she was banging on my car she scared me to death. The woman in the pink hair was extremely rude, I told her the machine stole $.75 and she said to push harder or if I wanted her to push it for me in a very condescending attitude. I respectfully said the machine wasn't taking the money, she made me pay the extra $.75 cents the machine had already taken from me. She was nice to the Spanish speaking customers. She forgot she's in LA and we are in a melting pot neighbourhood. Update: Just as I was finishing my laundry I heard the line to her manager on the phone regarding this incident. She also stated to her manager that she treated me nicely, and that she only charged me $4 for the machine that stole my money, however she did not mentioned that she never applied the extra $.75 the machine took from me, I should've been charged $3.25 for the load. Is not about the money, is the principle and the lies that she fed her manager with, to the attendee, Girl you know what you did was dishonest, and you had a nasty attitude towards me, but you for sure were nice to everybody that spoke to you in Spanish. But you didn't know that I also speak Spanish, did you?! It's not hard to be honest and nice to other, I too work with customers and I do my best to help them with their needs. I normally don't go to laundromats since we have a washer and dryer in my complex but it's out of order right now so I had to leave to wash my clothes and I just looked for the closest place to me with the best reviews and I am happy I came here. First, the ladies who work here are super friendly and helpful and they are constantly cleaning to make sure the place looks great. Even when I was walking around looking at their items they walked up to me and asked if I needed help. Very nice staff here. I will say, the washing prices are much more expensive than what I remember from last time I was in a laundromat. It's about $3.50 for a single load washer and $6.50 for a 4 loader. Watch out for overcharging at Love Laundry!! I dropped off my laundry here and noticed they weigh it using a big bucket, but they don't subtract the bucket's weight (about 4-5 pounds). That means customers are being overcharged. When I brought it up, the employee said she was just following orders from the manager, Alex. If this is their standard practice, it's a dishonest way of inflating the price. If you use their service, keep an eye on the scale and make sure you're not paying extra. Yeah, The prices are on the premium side ($5.00 small top load) but, This place is absolutely clean & sanitary as well as a public wash facility can be. There are 2-4 staff members maintaining things. You also get free dry, so, it all works out in the wash... I feel sort of confined inside, watching bad tv, since they removed the food network. On April 18th I dropped off my laundry for the fluff & fold service at the PICO location. On April 19th I picked up my order and realized I had items missing. I called several times and was told by Alex that the staff would look for my missing items, review the cameras and provide me with an update. I've made numerous attempts since April 19th to contact the staff and manager "Alex" and I haven't recovered my items, received a response or update. I even went back to the location 3 times in person. The lack of communication & accountability is unacceptable and unprofessional. One of the cleanest laundry mats I have been to. When I originally did my laundry there I would have given it five stars. The two workers there were very helpful and kind. COMPLETELY MY FAULT: I left a blanket and dress behind. I called just to see if there was a chance they kept it. I got a call back saying they had found it and would set it aside for me to pick up. I live 2.5 hours away and was just randomly doing my laundry to kill time while I was in LA. I made an appointment to pick it up. This place is really going downhill. Becoming over priced for machines that seem to be getting too old to work properly or just poorly maintained and never cleaned thoroughly. Love this place ! The fact that you can dry for free is wonderful. I can drop my clothes off or if I have the time sit and do a load myself. They offer a wide selection of detergents & fabric softeners on site. Clean laundromat... no bugs. The on-site attendant is very nice and helpful. The laundromat and the parking lot are not very big. So when it gets crowded, not only is it hard to find parking, it is a little difficult moving around the laundromat, using the larger washing machines and getting a dryer. We went on a Sunday morning (around 9:30 a.m. ) and it was crowded, by the afternoon it was not crowded at all. The dryers are free and do get hot. There is two extremely large coin dryers that you must pay for if you want to use them. In 25 minutes this dryer dried 85% of 6 loads of clothes & towels. I recommend that if you have more than one load, you use the bigger washing machines capable of holding 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 loads. It is less expensive that way. Bonus: plenty of snack machines and a little kiosk to purchase laundry items, i.e., detergent. I would have given 5 stars but I'm a little salty about unintentionally paying to use the coin dryers. read more

Then she said I should have used a medium washer for $5.25. It's a single load are you delirious ??? Tell your boss more like have washers that work more like it ...seriously what's wrong with people!?!?! The change machines don't work. The dryers run cold. And yet, I had continued to spend my hard earned money. The laundromat on LaCienega is $1 cheaper than yours for the same size washers. Your response inspired me to see where else I can go. Thank you for that. This laundromat specializes in price gauging. Sad. No regard for the loyal neighborhood residents who come regularly to do laundry for themselves and their families. I had already placed my clothes in when I realized they upped the price again! Prices seem to increase every 2 1/2 months. That is obscene! Today, as usual, several of the free dryers are cold. The dedicated staff said, "I know, but I only work here. They go cold. Someone comes every Tuesday to fix them." Why? Because it happens all the time! I just spent close to $25 for 3 loads of laundry! Are you kidding me?! A place like this shouldn't exist. Why? I'm happy you asked. Let's start off with the atmosphere. Yeah the atmosphere of this laundromat is awesome. It's bright, music is chill, it's clean, there's TVs and power outlets everywhere. Oh and there's snacks, lots and lots of delicious snacks. What else? The machines work. All the machines work. I've never seen that before. Did I mention that it's all clean? Not satisfied?! How about prices? They are really cheap here. How the they maintain business at these prices?!
