It's bright, music is chill, it's clean, there's TVs and power outlets everywhere. Oh and there's snacks, lots and lots of delicious snacks. What else? The machines work. All the machines work. I've never seen that before. Did I mention that it's all clean? Not satisfied?! How about prices? They are really cheap here. How the they maintain business at these prices?! Are you still not satisfied? Fine. How about the staff? They are disturbingly nice here and helpful. Three different people came up to me and offered to help me within a few minutes of me stepping foot inside. Honestly, it sounds tacky but this place makes you love doing laundry. I actually read the bad reviews and STILL came here b/c I figured "how bad can it really be as long as the machines work? Just don't talk to the staff and bring your own quarters". My washer broke, I just needed to do everyone's bedsheets IN AND OUT right? NoOooooo omg, the washers had this RANCID smell, I literally went around sticking my head in washers until I found some that didn't smell putrid. I promise you, as bad as they smelled, there's no way your clothes won't hold the scent after washing. THEN the dryers wouldn't dry. And yes, I separate my sheets into multiple dryers b/c too much in one load will take longer to dry obviously. A woman who was also doing laundry saw me feeding the machines and saved me by letting me know the dryers I was using were known duds Now...if you have machines that are "known duds" put signs on them, don't let customers waste money in broken machines When I brought it to the attention of the woman who works there WHEW, it was attituuuuude. She must have been having a terrible day b/c she kinda SNAPPED I even thought about not leaving this review after seeing how management & staff responds to people here but screw it - if you come here be ready for broken machines, poor upkeep, and a long day. Dryer is very demanded and they're misleading customers that "dryers are free for customers" I am using those PAID dryer which was hard to find one here. (It doesn't matter paid or free one.. it's hard to find one) I paid my 9 load washer ( 3 load + big 6 load) and I am use only 2 available paid dryer here. So ridiculous!!! Fairly typical laundry mat. Washers of various sizes, most of which work. The dryers are free in 15 minute increments or you can pay for a normal load. The washers are expensive IMO but large enough to more than fit a typical load. 20-ish minutes to wash 30-ish minutes to dry. read more

Used to be a great place to get laundry done. As of lately, the machines are often broken, the dryers smell of mildew and get an error message, the credit card readers are broken, and the staff has become quite angry with a lot of customers (I've seen someone accidentally spill soap, ask for a rag to clean up, and get scolded by staff). On top of this the bathroom is never in order anymore and when it is there's no toilet paper or soap. Used to be a great place but the quality has gone downhill while the prices have increased. read more

I been coming to "Love Laundry" when they first open up it used to be a pleasant place to do laundry. Sadly the past few years has been extremely upsetting. The washers are always "Dirty", they always run out of "Hot Water" so freaking horrible. The machines smells like Mildew/Mold and they have the nerves to go up on their prices. Some of the workers are always complaining about doing too much work and not getting paid enough money, some workers have really bad attitudes when you tell them there's no hot water which I paid for and the washing machines are not working and very dirty. Came here due to the coin shortage, off the bat I noticed this laundry mat is more expensive than my usual laundry mat but was open to trying the convenance of being able to use my credit card and not having to go to the bank to get cash... credit card readers are only on the bigger machines and not every machine. Not only was it folded as disorganized as possible, the clothing stinks like it marinated in dirty water, was washed on a short load, or maybe no detergent was used at all. I am beyond displeased. As a side note Julisa is a mean terrible person who is abusive to her customers and was abusive to me on multiple occasions. Alex the business owner is nice but doesn't seem to get the message on things I share with him. I am beyond displeased and don't suggest anyone using love laundry. $4 above average, 'free' dryers will most likely be in use by attendant for drop off customers, extremely rude attendant, door opens on larger dryers which are not free, but you'll have no choice but to use them. I'd rather drive during rush hour to my favorite one on Adams and Chrenshaw than come back to this one which is closer to home. read more

This place is pricey and the machines do a horrible job. My poor socks didn't get washed they got stuck in-between the door and the drum. At first it was just two, Jack & Jill but then Jose & Maria joined and now it's a party of four. Oh and during the wash cycle there was no bubbles, no detergent to be seen. Great little laundry place. Multiple coin change machines, snacks in vending while you wait and they offer detergent and softeners to buy. My only beef with this place is every single time i come in here, there is always one old lady who takes up 5+ dryers with like two things inside. They have signs posted that say please fill at-least half full but they won't do anything about it. I took some pictures to show you. Im just tired of every week i have to cram all of my stuff into one dryer and let it go 2 cycles before its dry, meanwhile inconsiderate people use multiple for like one rug or a towel. crazy read more

I went tonight because I wanted everything clean last minute.... arrived a little after 9pm. Amazing customer service, I put my detergent in the wrong little hole (seriously!) and the friendliest lady who works there scooped the soap for me and let me know once I came back in that I was all good. Small gesture but such a noble act of kindness ... I would have had to wash twice and the day had already defeated me. Free drying... hella clean... and friendly staff! Last few times I've gone, more and more machines seem to have broken down and aren't being repaired which is a bummer because you have to wait longer for an available machine. This is my go to Laundry. Very neat, affordable ($8:30 for 6 loads) and convenient. Free dryer available. You will always find an attendant incase you need any assistance. Update: after calling 4 times and getting no reply, i finally went back to the store. After 10 minutes we finally convinced the attendant (who couldn't seem to help us out herself) to call a manager. The manager didn't really have a real explanation for why another customer called me to tell me about the mix up, and why love laundry never did... But at least they agreed to re wash and fold everything and give us a credit for next time. A month ago (10/12) I went in and used my newly-issued debit card at the machines. Today I went to look over my bank account and saw that I've been charged numerous times over the last month by Love laundry. $4.75, $10, $3.75, etc. for a total of $27.25 with another $10 charge pending today! I don't know if it's a glitch in the system or an employee using a card number "on file" or if another customer cloned my cared, but ONLY uses it at Love Laundry, but if I were you, I'd bring cash, so you don't get fraudulent charges on your debit/credit card! read more

The person staffing the main room at the Los Angeles location off Pico boulevard has locked the doors while still open. People have to check out to leave, which is a huge fire hazard. I indicated I wanted to wait in my car for the 30 minutes for my wash to finish as we are still in a pandemic and was told to wait until she was ready to let us out, at which point there was a line of people waiting to get both in and out. That isn't safe or sanitary, and is awful for the guest's experience overall. On top of that the posted sign says open until midnight but a handwritten one says closed 9:30 pm read more

Came by here & it's a real gem! You only pay $3 to wash a large load. The dryer is free! Plus super fast WiFi! Not to mention, they take card!
