Ordered a white mocha with no whipped cream and half the sweetener (syrup, chocolate, whatever). I come to the counter and see a huge dollop of whipped cream. I politely asked if that was mine and she said yes so I told her I didn't want whipped cream. She glared at and was like "well I'll scoop it out" with an attitude. I was like, I'm sorry I just don't like whipped cream. Then I was did they tell I wanted half the syrup? She was like, "NO just try it." I didn't want more attitude from this lady so I took the drink as it was. When I told my friend she took it back in for it to be remade because it was too sweet for me and the lady gave her an attitude and started talking bad about me in front of my friend even though I had taken the drink when they made it wrong. There was never an apology or any good customer service. I don't mind people making mistakes, it happens. But they get 1 star for being mean when THEY made the order wrong and not even saying sorry. The coffee was good and they would have 5 stars for the drink if it wasn't for the terrible attitude. Please train your staff to be nice or hire nicer people. Thanks. Again, great coffee. read more

Love Muffin is everything you want in a mom and pop breakfast joint in the city yet it's smack in the middle of National Park central, Utah. It's well worth going first thing in the morning to avoid a large crowd, and all the food is great. The burritos are flavorful and fully stuffed while the muffins are large and baked with a lot of interesting ingredients (bacon muffins - who knew such amazing things existed?). A definite visit if you're in the area and want some fuel for you day of hiking, and I'd even say to get a sandwich for a picnic lunch later. Don't let the long line at the door turn you away. The line moves quickly and the food comes out within minutes of ordering. My fiancé got the Morrito burrito and I got the Locals burrito. We accidentally ended up eating each other burrito and for a girl who is not used to eating spicy things it was pretty spicy! On of my favorite Moab spots for breakfast or lunch, and one of the few places you can get a decent veggie/vegan meal. Although usually busy, service is fast and the breakfast burritos and hot drinks are awesome! Sometimes I really need these burritos before heading out on a long day's adventure. I have only tried the burritos, and always been happy, though the other food looks really good too. I believe this place closes by 3, so plan accordingly. Locals love Love Muffin Cafe, so I had to check it out. Great place to go if you're looking for a more interesting take on breakfast. Love Muffin is a cute artsy bistro with abstract paintings promoting the local arts scene. We had the biscuits and sausage gravy (low on sausage unfortunately) but the biscuits were fluffy and fresh out of the oven. They cook over-easy eggs just right. Worst service EVER. I was driving from Telluride to Park City and made a special stop to pick up their granola for my daughter. They had just closed at 1 pm and we walked in at 105 pm. This place did not appeal to me. I was looking for an internet cafe, I asked about it and was told, "nope, we do not have it... go to the library". There are three breakfast spots in Moab that all seem to get 4 stars with more than 60 reviews. We tried two of them, Jailhouse Cafe and Love Muffin. Walked by the third, Eklectic Cafe, and opted not to try it based on reading some reviews here and a look at the menu outside. Love Muffin is the best spot for breakfast in Moab IMHO. First, I always look for signs that a place cares about quality since assertions and words can never be relied upon. What products do they offer? What equipment is visible? How clean is the place? How knowledgeable the staff? You get the idea. At Love Muffin, instantly obvious is the quality focus. They're using and selling DOMA coffee, a very fine roaster in northern Idaho. They are using a Marzocco machine for espresso drinks and two serious burr grinders. The tea could be Lipton or Tazo but it's the more expensive and best-in-bag, Two Leaves and a Bud. Sure enough, the food follows course. We ordered the "Verde," a delicious breakfast with generous portions of freshly-made tomatillo sauce (versus the canned/jarred served at some Mexican spots in town) and a very tasty, house-braised brisket and a couple of eggs. Coffee was excellent. Naked Juice--again, a higher quality product than concentrate or Tropicana. Finally, though most reviews for most restaurants in Moab talk about the high prices due to desert location and it being a very touristic town, Love Muffin doesn't follow course. Their prices are fair. $8 bucks for the Verde as described is very fair as example. This is the place for breakfast. Jailhouse Cafe is also good but with crazy jacked up prices. FWIW. read more

We were in Moab for a day and based on some reviews I read I convinced my friends to try this place. I had a real hankering for huevos rancheros and was not disappointed. Having never been here I asked the counter person if they were served with guacamole or sour cream and she assured me they would never do that and that they served them "straight up". Black beans, potatoes, corn tortillas and eggs covered with red sauce have never tasted so delicious. If I'm ever back in Moab I will definitely go again to the Love Muffin. read more

And I tend to enjoy counterculture eateries and I am not easily put off, but my husband and I were shocked at the bordering on rude service at the Love Muffin. The woman behind the counter taking orders was impatient with my questions to the point of rolling her eyes. Her demeanor changed immediately when the young man behind me stepped up to order. Message delivered: don't come in this place if you are over 35 and you don't love jagged rap music. The food was good. I had the red stallion sandwich and hubby had the waffle. Best breakfast in Moab and even with a line out the door you are sitting and eating inside of 20 min. I always get a breakfast burrito and my son has tried the sausage breakfast panini and loved it.
