The worst nail salon I had ever been to. My first time going the older woman who did my nails was rude and barely even acknowledged me. I let that go because I figured well she did my nails pretty good. Not not even a week later I had chips (gel mani) on both of my thumbs. Although they agreed to fix them, the next day the one thumb that had been fixed started to peel. Yes she fixed it again but who has all this time to run back and forth? I will never go there again. I have been going to LOVE nails since they opened and never had a bad experience. My nails always look great when I walk out. My daughter loves going for manicures now and they are so great with her, shes 4, she feels like a princess every time. I have NEVER had anyone treat us less then professionally and they always greet with a smile. They do get busy so call ahead, don't get upset if they can't take a walk in because they're protecting appointment times. Best shop around!! read more

I drive almost 10 miles, passing many other salons, to get here- every two weeks. Don't come here if you're in a rush. The pedicure is luxurious, and the basic includes a salt scrub, lotion, hot rock massage, hand massage, and a hot towel! And, you can upgrade your pedicure from there! Unfortunately we had a terrible experience at LOVE Nails. I wanted to like this spot due to its prime location but unfortunately the staff was extremely rude and unaccomodating during our appointment. We had a wheelchair bound guest in our party and the staff refused to accommodate her for a pedicure. It was shocking and uncomfortable for all present during the encounter. Every other nail salon we have visited has made the situation work before and given a perfect pedi. In addition, the other 4 guests who also received mani/pedis were rushed through and not given hardly enough time. A spa experience should be long and luxurious and worth the price but unfortunately, that was not the case in this situation. We will not be returning and hope you will not either. read more

I have been going to Love since it opened. The salon is very nicely decorated with a separate room for pedicures. The staff is warm and welcoming. Appointments are always on time. I particularly love the post- mani massage and the hot stone pedis. There is something special about this salon. It is clean, upscale and calming. A great end to a tedious day or a great beginning to an active weekend. They always offer something to drink- water, wine and sometimes specialty cocktails. The Salons Management is caring and seem to want to please I gave them five stars because I have been getting my nails done for over 30 years at a lot of different salons but I have never had the wonderful treatment I receive at Love Nails. read more

So pleased to have found this brand new nail salon! Great location in the borough of Malvern, in the new Eastside Flats development, with (free!) parking right on the street outside the shop. Pleased that they were able to take me as a walk-in -- Ivy, the owner, happened to be the one available and took fantastic care of me. I got a pedicure, and a polish change on my hands, and I'm really pleased with the expert job she did. No ragged nail bits, no cheating of color at the sides of the nail, like at other salons. These nails are as perfect as I've ever had them done. Plus, the balance between talking to the client and letting her/him relax was *perfect*. I'm not a fan of salons where the nail tech completely ignores you and talks only to co-workers, but nor do I want someone who engages me in conversation non-stop (after all, part of why I'm there is to relax). They use many 'natural' polishes, all good, high-end brands. Prices are competitive for the area, and the grand opening discount in place through the summer (until Sept. 2014) makes it a bargain. The shop itself is modern, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Very, very happy to have a new favorite nail salon, so close to home for me! read more

My friend and I visited Love nails and both left highly disappointed. It's a nice atmosphere and has a wide color selection, however the technicians are poorly skilled. I arrived with gel polish and the technician doing my nails acted as if she had no idea how to remove gel...she scratched and picked at my nails scraping the gel polish off using her own nails and a metal tool. I spoke up and told her twice that the gel needs to be soaked off with acetone, as all nail salons do... I also told her multiple times that she was hurting me, she continued to scrape at my nails which was very painful then broke one nail down to the skin, this nail began to heavily bleed (very painful) and she never apologized, simply acted like it was no big deal and glued my nail back together...eventually another technician told her to wrap my nails with acetone to soak off the gel. Then she asked if I wanted my nails cut down I quickly said "No, just filed" but she clipped down each nail regardless. My friend who was there for acrylic fill in from a different technician also received poor service as her nails were long and perfectly shaped until the technician butchered them making her nails all uneven. Save yourself and go somewhere else these technicians need training. I've also posted a picture of my nail that the technician practically ripped off then glued together, it obviously fell off several days later. Worst customer service ever!! I had to wait forever... Even though I went back for the 3rd time to have my nails fixed. I originally went in for a gel manicure... And not only did the lady cut my finger open and poor alcohol in my open-bleeding wound.. But it looked like my 5 year old brother painted my nails! Gel manis last up to 2 weeks... On my second day all of my nails to be flaking off and chipped. I went back and calmly asked them to fix it... Another lady re-did my hands .. But kept snapping at me to keep my hands under the dryer( i have long fingers so it looks like my wrist hang out of the uv dryer... Which this lady couldn't seem to understand it). The 3rd time I asked to speak with someone that would actually help me and everyone gave me an attitude. Never tried to fix any of the problems they caused.. Like the huge gash in my finger from the cutical cutter.. Worst place ever.. I don't recommend this horrible place to anyone.. Even if you're looking for a quick manicure - do it yourself! Even with an appointment you have to wait and wait and wait. You are not acknowledged when you walk in. You basically have to interrupt someone's manicure to let them know you're there. And they speak their language while you are trying to relax for a pedicure which I find so rude. read more

I wish I could give Love nails Spa zero star but Yelp does not have that option. I took two clients to Love nails to get gel manicures, both of my clients are in wheelchairs. When we walked in the door the female staff refused to get up from her seat at the front desk to hold the door for my clients or to assist. She looked through my clients and myself as if we were dirt. She rudely asked if we had an appointment, I told her to check. My company did not make an appointment for my clients, but I asked if they could still be seen since no one was in the salon. The staff does not know how to treat ANY one with respect. They rudely said pick your color and that they could not get gel manicures because they did not have enough time. The female staff was mad with my client who is wheelchair bond because she could not fit under the table to get her nails done. She rolled her eyes and miserably complained about how she would have to do her nails standing up. She did give my client a gel manicure after my client said she did not want one. The male staff doing my other clients nails refused to give her a gel manicure because he said IT WAS TOO HARD. He throw the nail kit in front of my client, rushed to do her nails. The paint on my clients fingers were not even dry he told us that she was done and it was time to pay. As we left the store my clients nail polish was off all the way. DO NOT GO HERE. Came during vacation for a pedicure - originally planned on mani pedi but wasn't sold on that after we got started so just got the pedi. Pedicure was decent- not the best I've had by any means. From the reviews I expected a little more- we also weren't given any options- from the way the website sounded I thought we would be given a few different upgrade options or something ... Maybe I'm just spoiled from my place at home? What really turned me off is that the staff isn't friendly at all - no conversation or eye contact during any of our visit here. Came with my mom and sister so we made an appt and they had the 3 pedi chairs ready to go for us when we arrived. No beverage offerings although our appointment was at 10am so maybe that's why. (I'm always down for mimosas just saying!) Price was pretty average. Not sure we will be back- may have to check out a few other places the next time we visit PA. read more

The owners, Ivy and Jimmy are very friendly and do a great job on helping clients when they walk off the street without a appointment. I have been going there for almost a year now and have never walk out of here disappointed. They take their time so the job is done professionally and not sloppy like some of the other salons. Had a HORRIBLE experience at this place. My sister and I went for a relaxing spa day and ended up leaving to go to the emergency room. She got a wax by one of the employees and it went terribly wrong, just a couple days away from her wedding. Never get a wax here! read more

Rude....all other patrons were offered a free glass of wine with their service but I wasn't. Apparently only young pretty patrons are worth the attention from the male manager.
