I was in town for a wedding and realized that I had forgotten to get my shoes shined. They were in really rough shape! I called one shoe repair place but they didn't inspire confidence in their ability to complete the work today or do the job, at all. Next, I called Love-Way and the gentleman who answered the phone responded with enthusiasm and absolute confidence that he could both complete the refresh and get it done as soon as I could bring the shoes to him. I immediately headed over and was greeted by the same enthusiast charm that I experienced on the phone. The shop is small and very cluttered with shoes, materials, machines everywhere! This is truly a workshop! None of that fancy retail decoration. This is where work gets done! He took my shoes and asked when I wanted to pick them up. Since the wedding was in a few hours, I said I could wait, if he could do them now. He replied "I'll get on 'em, like ugly on an ape!" And his partner started working on them immediately. As I waited, other customers kept coming, bringing him more and more shoes to repair, from single pairs to laundry baskets full! Obviously, they are very popular and do good work. The sole of one of my old hiking boots separated almost completely. The first shoe repair I took them to said they couldn't do it. I thought I'd try one more place before giving up, and I'm glad I did. Quick turnaround, the gentlemen were delightful and helpful. The proprietor noticed the other boot was also beginning to separate (which I hadn't seen), so they fixed both. The cost was extremely reasonable, less than I expected. Highly recommend. read more

I had two shoes which needed some repair. One was a pair of boots which needed the entire sole replaced. The other was a pair of casual dress shoes which had a worn heel. When I arrived, I showed the shoes to the proprietor, who was very friendly, and he told me what was needed. After showing me a catalog of soles to pick, we picked one that seemed fitting and he gave me a quote. $25 for the heel replacement for casual dress shoes $65 for the sole replacement for boots I stopped in on a Saturday and got the shoes on next Thursday. The sole replacement that he got was Vibram brand which I heard was a good brand that is used in a lot of hiking boots. These soles could cost up to $40 so I thought $65 was a decent value. As an added bonus, he also polished up the shoes so I got them back all shiny. Overall, I think the owner is very honest and I'll definitely be back for future shoe repair. read more

Great service, shoes came back way better than I expected! I brought in four pairs of shoes, including a pair of black pumps with mangled heels and a pair of brown boots that were super beat up. I wish I had a before picture to show. Shoes came back with the heels fixed, boots looked amazing, and he even cleaned them all. Very happy and will be back. This shoe repair shop was the worse. The shop had my brand new shoes for 3 days. He promise the shoes would be ready at 10a. I arrived at 11a and the shoes were not ready. They were brand new and needed a rubber sole and heel. THE shoes had scratches on them. The rubber on shoes were ragged and rough. The shoe repair man did not give a smooth and professional finish. The job was incomplete and sloppy. Now I have to take my shoes to another repair shop to see if they can undo the mess that LOVE SHOE REPAIR DID TO MY NEW SHOES. read more

This place is a rare find! Excellent work repairing a pair of sandals, done in a very timely and friendly manner. I dropped by a week or so after leaving my sandal, but did not call before hand to see if the work had been done. The owner (Brother Love) dropped everything and did the repair, plus polish, and had everything ready in less than 1/2 hour. Very friendly guy, a real gem.
