If it was not for Malcolm giving us this set of skills, there is a definite possibility we would have been unable to keep Hank, so for that we are grateful! However, it's what you do to rebound from that right? So Alejandro saw us and apologized so it doesn't really matter. At the end of the day, our furry children had a good time. They had a blueberry facial, they had bandanas, they also had a lot of exercise and 1:1 time. What I loved-- is how we can check the pet cameras to make sure they are ok! They also did brain games too and they were so tired when we picked them up! Money usually cries in the car but he didn't cry at all on our way back so I could tell that dogtopia did a very great job. Jasmine also explained everything well. The pups also had their nails trimmed too!!!! I loved how they center the dogs around like what group they can be too! Penny and Money were in the medium dog size group for medium energy! Separated from highest energy dogs! That kind of thought is so cute!

My previous appointment after dropping my dog off at 10 am I received a phone call asking if I was still dropping him off HOUR after he was already dropped off. Even though they offered to do absolutely nothing for taking up my entire day, I tried to be understanding and I get people make mistakes, continued to come back again. I drop my dog off at 10 am for an appointment 6/6 I made weeks in advance, they confirm my appointment the day before as well, at 2PM IN THE AFTERNOON I'm informed there's no groomer there, never was a groomer down on the schedule at all. The best they could give me is "sorry you can come back tomorrow or another day and we can TRY and make sure someone is there" Oh not to mention every time I go it's always a different price with no explanation. As someone that's been with you for 5 years, never no showed, not payed or caused any fuss this customer service was extremely disappointing.

She is also very gentle and patient with our dogs. The Rover Oaks staff members are all very friendly and they have a very organized online system to enter any immunization records and you can also view your pup's pawgress report. They also offer daycare and boarding services. It also looks like they may offer training as well. Every time we come here, all dogs are eager to go in and are all happy when they are there, so it seems that they are doing things right here!

We rescued this big baby, Juice, about a year ago and while he has some excellent attributes we…read morecouldn't seem to really get him to listen or obey certain commands. We needed help! After several training inquiries with multiple companies, I immediately heard back from Karma, and a call with the owner was set up. He asked me all about Juice and explained the options he thought would be best. After deciding on "board and train" he said he thought he had the perfect person in mind and they would reach out soon. A couple days later I received correspondence from Sammye Darling, a trainer for Karma, who wanted to set up a call to talk about Juice. During our call she was very confident that she would be able to help with teaching him basic obedience and jumping. We settled on a 10 day timeframe with the expectation that it would be imperative to continue the training ourselves afterwards. (She would've preferred 14 days because that last few days is really when the training sinks in but I assured her we would stay on it) Scheduling was easy and convenient while we went out of town on vacation. Sammye was warm, gentle, and friendly upon dropping Juice off with her and I trusted her immediately. She stayed in constant communication with us, sending pictures, and updates on his progress. He took some time, he's stubborn, but eventually she saw the switch and said he was doing great! I missed him so much but knew he was in good hands with Sammye. Fast forward 10 days later and the day came to pick him up and I couldn't wait to see him. I'll spare you all the details of baby talk, kisses, hugs, etc. but it was a joyous reunion that had us in awe of the things he had learned. We spent about an hour there learning the commands, how to reward them, and practicing before heading home. She worked wonders and we were so excited to go home and continue the work. Before leaving we scheduled our follow up in person training session for a couple weeks out so Sammye could come see him in his own environment and see if we actually kept up with the training which we did! He is doing great! No, he's not perfect and we're still working on certain things but he's a different dog in many aspects. He has a "place" for when we're eating and now does it without asking and gets "off" the bed when it's time (he's too big to sleep with us) so he has his own. Those are two giant wins for us and we can't thank Sammye enough! He learned so much more and we continue to work with him everyday. Karma was professional and quick to respond which is always something I appreciate. Sammye, our trainer, was a delight who was professional, caring, thoughtful, hard-working, and made Juice feel right at home (in her own home) while teaching him some manners. I can't recommend her enough! Juice definitely missed her and was so excited to see her when she came over which further solidified how amazing she was. Call Karma and ask for Sammye as your trainer. You won't regret it!

Additionally, Ozzie has severe food allergy so it has been wonderful being able to trust that the staff at Best Little Dog House will take care of him well and ensure that he doesn't come into contact with anything he shouldn't while he's there. The cage free nature of the boarding setup in particular is welcome as he is not used to sleeping in a kennel and prefers being cuddled up in a blanket with a trusted human nearby. It's such a relief to know that when he is at Best Little Dog House he is having a great time and being well treated. He loses his mind with excitement when we tell him he is getting to "go play!" and always eagerly runs to the front door when he gets out of the car!
