I filled out a service request yesterday to have my ducts cleaned after finding out I had severe water accumulation in the crawl space of my 34 year old home. There was significant mold and mildew involved and I was told my return duct had water inside it, so I haven't had my downstairs furnace or A/C on since the first week of March. I got the water problem solved, so I explained to Leandro, I wanted all my ducts cleaned and sanitized, but if he was too busy to do that right away, if he could just do my return duct ASAP, that would alow me to run the A/C and the rest of the ducts could wait. He responded immediately and said he could do the 1 duct today, but not all of them, I also signed up for his annual service program after his rapid response so he also did the full clean and inspection of my upstairs A/C unit which has been doing double duty for the last two months. But here is where he went above and beyond, I was told by a plumber I had hired to inspect my gas pipes under the house, about the small lake under my house, he found and saw the duct was semi submerged, he went above and beyond too, he lifted up the duct and said it was heavy with water. I did not know how bad the return duct was affected by the water, and Leandro knew this, he went under my house found the duct and opened it up so he could see inside in both directions where a sheet metal connecter was. He said it did not look like much, if any water was inside the duct, it had pink insulation wraped around the outside of the duct that was soaked with water and was heavy because of that, but no mold or mildew was inside the duct, what a relief! He took pictures of everything, and then re-connected the duct properly, and proceeded to clean and sanitize it. He did all this without adding any extra charges to his original quote for today's work. That peace of mind was worth a lot to me, and I told him so. Crawling around under any house is difficult, my house is particularly difficult, the crawl space is extremely tight, tearing apart a duct, and putting it back together under there is hard for me to even imagine. This is the kind of service you can expect to receive from Leandro if you fill out a service request with Thermotec HVAC Services, and if you do, you can thank me later.

April, 2026, our 2016 300 GLC MBZ alerted for low coolant level. I added about a quart of water to…read morecontinue its use, but scheduled an appointment with TrueCare to diagnose the underlying cause of coolant loss. The upper radiator hose turned out to be the cause. TrueCare replaced it, alleviating our worries for 2 trips to SoCal and one to Reno(from the Sierra foothills). Then a short trip to our local grocery store turned out to be disastrous. When starting the car for the trip back home, it warned to "Check Coolant Level". By the time the car reached our neighborhood, the Temperature indicator had climbed to the red zone, and the warning changed to flashing red "Turn Off Engine!" When it cooled, I checked under the hood to learn that the previously replaced upper radiator hose had come completely off the radiator connector. I contacted Dave, and made arrangements to have it towed to TrueCare. I informed Dave about the hose, and he ordered a replacement. The hose that had been installed had failed, and was defective. This wasn't an aftermarket part, but an OEM from Mercedes. The good news in all of this, is that Dave stands behind all his work with a 2 year warranty. The replacement was done for NO CHARGE!! The lesson here, is that any part can fail, even a new OEM from Mercedes. When a business stands behind their work with this kind of service, it speaks volumes about their integrity. There's good reason why most every review gives Dave's TrueCare 5 star reviews. They've earned it, along with the trust and confidence his customers give him. I have done a lot of work over the years and am happy to say that if you live in this area, he is your guy. He was fair and honest from the get go. The price he gives you is the price you will pay. I never received any surprise "change orders". As contractors go, Omar was VERY open and communicative. No problems ever getting him or his crew on the phone. He had great suggestions on all things we discussed. Always seemed to know a lot about his work and various things people like. The project was a big one, and I am super happy with how fast it went. He even got started for us over Thanksgiving and Xmas, and his crew would show up on Saturday or Sunday sometimes to keep on working (which was fine with us!). There were no subcontractors involved... everything was through Noor Construction. If we had any minor issues that needed correcting, Omar would come and look at it and tell his crew what to do. We really appreciate the details, crown molding and trim was superbly done, and the tile was just amazing, we are very impressed with his team. I mean seriously anyone who has attempted to do crown molding in the past knows what I am talking about. For details if you've made it this far, our story: Where shall I start. I suppose we start with the idea: build a bedroom in the second floor space of our "great room" which has really tall ceilings... like 30 feet plus. So basically add a bedroom in the second story "empty space" above the first floor. Easy right? Well, after getting ghosted by several contractors, I finally called Omar. He informed he thought we were probably getting ghosted because the architect had told him that footings were needed to support this new bedroom which would be sort of like an island in the middle of the house. We live on a hill, so these support columns would have to go through the first floor, basement, and then under the house. This added to the cost, but we really wanted a bedroom in that space. Omar gave me a price. I told him no thanks, my wife and I thought well maybe we changed our mind as the cost came in higher with the footing work. After a few weeks, we talked it over, changed our minds. We really needed the bedroom. I called him, thinking "gosh he probably won't want our work". Omar came back, no change in price, same deal as before, he didn't even bat an eye, he was ready to go, and this was like 4 weeks later after I told him no. So yea, it was project that I was told was too much for people, everyone didn't want to go get permits or deal with the footings... Omar told us what to expect and stuck to the plan. He dealt with the County and the inspector always came and said even himself "these guys know what they are doing". We passed all inspections. Omar even was super flexible about adding things to the project as we went along, as you know I get ideas about what I might want, we added some carpeting and shelving, and additional tile work that he added at no additional cost to him. He really just knows what he is doing and is super on top of things. So go with Noor Construction if you have the chance, you won't regret it!

This review is for the great experience I had when I called Tony's Toolbox to request an…read moreappointment for an estmate. I need to fix a ceiling leak and determine why it is there! I feel that you can tell a lot about a company by talking to the person who answers the phone. Amber quickly inspired confidence in my choice of choosing this company to contact. She answered the phone immediately, was professional and listened to me carefully. She set up an appointment when Tony could visit. And she explained Tony would text me the day of the appointment with the window of time he would be arriving. Love organized and efficient. As per his word, Tony texted me and gave me a 4 to 5:00 p.m. window and showed up on time. For the next hour Tony evaluated the situation by getting a very close look at the problem area. He then went up into the attic for a closer inspection. When he came back he had pictures on his phone and explained what was going on. As it turns out there is an open area in the roof where rain water can get in. This likely created the spot that has now formed. He said it was fixable and would send me an estimate via email. If I agreed with the estimate, I would be added to his schedule. (Luckily this is a very slow leak and the ceiling spot is small.) Tony was professional, knowledgeable, and I was very pleased with choosing him out of many other people. The estimate was received the next morning! I absolutely felt it was fair and reasonable. He is a popular guy. I have a month's wait. As an aside: My neighbor was present during Tony's visit. He was so impressed with Tony that he asked for his business card.
