I've always very much enjoyed the Lovelady brewery on Water street and now they have a location closer to the house. Located in the Smiths shopping center on Green Valley Parkway this new addition is a satellite taproom for Lovelady brewing. It's a bit small but they don't brew there. There's a long bar, a few tables and a small patio out back. There are plenty of Lovelady offerings on tap and the bartenders are just as friendly as the ones at the brewery.

Words cannot express how excited I was when I learned that a second Lovelady Brewing location was opening close to my house! Yes, I like the Water Street location as well, but this location I'll definitely be frequenting more. My boyfriend and I have been here a couple of times since they opened, but I didn't see their page on Yelp until just now, hence why I don't have any check-ins (yet). Normally we come here after having dinner at a nearby restaurant or just because we want to wind down after a long day. Their beer menu rotates from time to time and they have plenty of beers to select from. My favorite beers from here are the 9th Island Pineapple Sour and the Blake's Apple Cider, which we frequently include in our beer flights. My boyfriend loved the Blake's Apple Cider so much that he requested a can to go one time. Service has always been fast and friendly during every visit and I hope it continues that way. They have TVs everywhere, which makes it a great place to watch a game. Note that they do not have an outdoor patio and the interior is a little smaller compared to the Water Street location. They don't have food, with the exception of small snacks, but you can visit any of the restaurants nearby and bring their food inside with you. Lovelady is one of my favorite breweries here in town and we will be back!

This tap has a good feel to it. The bartender was friendly and a good talk. I went around an hour before close, pretty empty but still had a pretty good time.

Absolutely love getting a quick drink here! I love their hazy IPA but also been getting some of their stouts!

After an awesome stop at the Water Street Brewery, we stopped by the Green Valley Taproom. Same amazing brews and service in a laidback atmosphere. The biggest drawback here is that they don't have the Paleo Milkshake, which was an all-star at the downtown brewery. However, they still had the delicious Paleo stout.

Date of visit: August 2, 2026…read more We wanted to get some gifts for friends that are so generous with their time and energy in watching our dog when we are away and being connoisseurs of fine alcohols, this seemed like the perfect place to score something cool. Lo and behold, we were right! The vibe here is very speakeasy, so if that's your vibe, you'll love it here. If you think Prohibition was the best thing that ever happened to this country, well, you probably wouldn't come to a distillery anyway and wouldn't have much to say about the joint. But in addition to that, the items available were interesting and the staff was incredibly friendly, with multiple offers to sample something before making a purchase and giving us some background on some of the wares. We went with an upcycled candle made from one of their bottles, and a bottle of gin, for our gin-swilling dogsitters. I hope the enjoy it and if they do, we'll be back for more!

Found this little Vegas gem randomly in the magazine in my hotel and figured it was worth the 30min trip to try it out. Booked a tour with Master Distiller Johnny, and from the moment I arrived, they took great care of me. The tour was fun and informative. I know a good amount about distilling whiskey, but they talked about their specific processes and the unique attributes of distilling in the hot desert. After the tour, I spent some time in the awesome tap room. Old School vibe to it, with food that rivals the restaurants on the strip, bartenders who are friendly and make a killer cocktail, and just a great place to chat with folks at the bar and hang out for a quiet evening. I will absolutely be back next time I'm in town. It's well worth the trip. Don't forget to pick up a couple of bottles; they even stock bottle protectors for you to get them home safely (like all 3 of mine did).

The berry "cobbler" is SO DAMN delicious, but it's not much of a cobbler in my opinion. More like biscuits and berries...but also a must order. The service is always warm and welcoming, makes me think of Southern hospitality. The only slight complaint is portion size is a little small. The biscuit was really small, but super good, so it gets a pass. The berry "cobbler" was also a smaller portion.

It's only about 10 minutes from my place, so I made it super easy early in the morning right when they got there at 8:00., and just note that you have to walk all the way around to the side of the building to get in. Nevertheless, I made it to the door. Super cool fact is they also have outdoor seating which is kind of nice, but the real treasure lies within For starters, this place has a real rustic feel. Definitely warm and inviting, lots of tables to sit at. I was greeted warmly when I came in. Told her it was my first time and she was very excited. I was there and gave me the complete rundown of the place as well as her favorites on the menu. I opted for the tri-tip eggs Benedict.. which comes on their signature. Biscuits. Started things off with a cup of coffee. I don't know what brand they use but it was nice and strong and very delicious. The Benedict itself was truly a work of art. The hash browns were cooked to perfection, and whatever Hollandaise sauce they put on that thing is wonderful. I definitely should have asked for extra. The meat was Smoky and perfectly cooked, and made for a very delightful meal. Added bonus, they have a fully stocked bourbon bar that looked very appetizing. It was only 8:30 in the morning so I really didn't feel right about doing an old fashioned, but I will definitely be coming back here on a Friday night for their rib special and I'll have an old fashioned bin and report back. Bottom line? Everything here is wonderful. I have no complaints and it was a absolutely perfect for star meal. If you are anywhere in the area I say go check it out.
