I found a good $180 worth of goodies, a lot for a party I am having and the rest is for me--I got my smores whiskey, honey whiskey and fire, found some Banana cream liquor and all sorts of surprises. I had just sold my old car at CarMax located down the road and my dad requested that we stop by Total Wine & More before I took him home. I decided to go inside with him because I was curious what they had here. He had his eye on a specific type of white wine and thanks to someone here that helped him out, he ended up clearing out all of its' inventory, buying at least six bottles of this specific brand. It was a Riesling white wine but I don't remember the full name of it. He and my mom now have plenty of wine to go through over the next couple of months lol. Here, I thought to myself, I should buy myself a bottle of wine as well. At my dad's suggestion and since I'm a big fan of Chardonnay and other types of white wine, I picked up a Nobilis white wine straight out of Portugal. When I traveled to Europe a couple of years ago, I did a lot of white wine tastings and this is pretty much how my white wine palate peaked. I've yet to visit Portugal, though. I haven't opened this bottle yet, but I already know that I'll like it. Although I don't really frequent Total Wine & More, they have a wide variety of wine and alcohol choices to choose from.

You can get lucky and have Flamingo be pretty empty so you can get out easily but that's not always the case. Also, the pricing is always a little bit higher here than where I like to normally shop. I'm talking just a few dollars but that can add up in the long run. What I do like about this shop is that every single time I've been in, the people working here are super helpful and friendly. The aisles are organized well and even though the building is a bit older, it's clean and easy to navigate. They have a lot of items to choose from and you can get lucky finding items that may not be readily available.

Why would I give my purse to a complete stranger? I definitely don't feel safe doing that....especially since two white women had walked in mere seconds after me with large, open purses and he didn't say anything to them about their bags (hmm I wonder why). I left without buying anything because I don't believe in spending my money at establishments that are hostile and have discriminatory practices. If you want all purses held at the front counter that's your right as a business owner but why enforce rules with one person but not everyone? Impressed with the stories the staff shared about Horse Solder Whiskey. Knew what my co-shopper was asking for with one word. Displays and isles were clean and organized.
