When my family moved into our house, we already knew our roof would need to be redone and we hoped to get it to about 5 years post move in time. At year 4, our roof sprung a leak and so this was the first time AER came to the rescue. Chris Stohl got our repair coordinated quickly and efficiently but confirmed this was just buying 1 season. That next year we sprung a different leak but were just months away from it being the most perfect time financially. Chris came out and actually helped to tarp our roof to get us through the rain. Talk about above and beyond! I told him that we would do the roof that summer and he got a quote prepared. We did get some other quotes in the meantime and AER just was top to bottom better with warranty, materials and price point. We went with AER and they put our job on the exact week we needed. Megan and Rebecca coordinated the process the entire way. They were preparing us for all the expected noise, logistics and material delivery practically every day leading into the start day. When work got started, each inspector and crew member were polite and efficient. Our new roof went in perfectly to what we had expected. After project finish, there was a problem with dealing with the county office, through no fault of either us or AER (thanks former home owner from 20+ years ago). Rebecca and Megan did an awesome job communicating everything and thankfully the project wrapped up peacefully. Again, simply, AER took great care of us and helped to make sure everything went smoothly. We are looking forward to many many years in this home and rest easy with the security of AER quality promise. Thanks again!

**Above and beyond roofing work -- highly recommend!**…read more Jason Hope, Cris Espinoza, and Tommy did an outstanding job on our roof. They set clear expectations from the start and communicated well throughout the entire project. They worked hard and were completely responsible and accountable. At one point they accidentally broke a skylight, but instead of cutting corners, they went above and beyond to get it repaired properly and made it right. They also cleaned up thoroughly after every single day of work, which we really appreciated. The finished roof looks even better than it did before. I also want to recognize Jose and Adrian. When the inspector required additional work on the roof, Jose took the time to clearly explain the cost differences so we knew exactly what we were paying for and why. I had a lot of questions about the cost breakdown for the sheeting, and it was pretty confusing to me, but Jose was so patient and kept explaining it different ways until it finally clicked. Adrian set us up with our initial consultation and spent over an hour working through pricing with us to get us a great deal. He respected my budget and kept it at the forefront the whole time, which made me feel truly seen and heard. Anytime I had a question or needed help with financing, he was there for me. This whole team was trustworthy, detail-oriented, and easy to work with from the first consultation to the final walkthrough. Highly recommend!!!

Logan and Jacob arrived this morning as scheduled. They reviewed work to be done prior to starting. They got to work repairing the pergola and were finished by 1:00 pm. I can't tell you how much I appreciate Logan and Jacob's work ethic. They knew I was concerned about getting this done before the rain and they didn't disappoint. As always, I won't hesitate to use Straightline again in the future. Thanks again!

At the first rain water poured from the place where the previous downspout was supposedly sealed. Bobby told me he would personally fix the leaking seal, but instead he sent the same helper who had botched the seal the first time. Because Bobby was "on his way", I asked the helper to wait and have Bobby do the job. He ignored my request and was finished when Bobby arrived. Bobby noted there was still a little water from a previous rain, which means the helper applied the replacement sealer on wet metal. I heard the helper tell Bobby the sealant needed to cure 9 hours, but Bobby flooded the gutter with water because it hadn't been cleaned the first time the helper came. Then Bobby told me they'd used silicone to reseal the hole, and from everything I've read silicone does not adhere well to galvanized steel and will fail quickly. Bobby told me that all sealant for gutters is silicone and I knew that wasn't true, which I've confirmed with other companies that seal gutter leaks. I wrote an email to Bobby requesting he either refund the $200 cash I paid or come and try again to do the job again using a sealant that works with galvanized steel. He did not even bother to respond. I am going to have to hire another repair person to have this job done correctly as it is apparently not something Bobby is willing to do. If you need gutter repairs done, I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere, possibly with someone licensed who is more knowledgeable. THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU HAS RATED THIS COMPANY AS "F". "BBB confirmed this company had not obtained a necessary license from Contractors State License Board." According to BBB, this is a required competency license.

I contacted this company to obtain a quote for the installation of Gutterglove Pro replacement leaf…read moreguards on our 10-year-old gutters. The gutters themselves were in perfect shape despite several harsh winters, except that the original guards had failed in places, allowing debris to collect in and block the gutters. When Greg, the representative, arrived, he told me he was a "consultant," not a salesperson, and had decades of professional experience with gutters. Despite his experience, he brought only a 6-foot ladder and no product sample. Greg could barely view the top of our gutters by standing (unsafely) on the top rung of his ladder. Over the course of 45 minutes, Greg attempted to sell us on both new gutters and leaf guard screens. He said our current gutters, which had survived many heavy storms, were incorrectly mounted given that our house is above the snow line, even though they were installed precisely in accordance with the approved construction drawings I showed him and had lasted for 10+ years. He proposed a somewhat complicated method for installing new gutters that involved cutting away a portion of the old ones. When I told him that the leading manufacturer of gutter screens had provided us with a quote for the installation of replacement screens on our EXISTING GUTTERS and offered a 50-year warranty, Greg derided that company, its products and its sales practices. Greg kept trying to explain why his product was better and why new gutters were necessary, but refused to provide a quote or describe the warranty his company would offer. Again and again, I told him I did not care about the product specifics, but rather what warranty would be provided and what the system would cost. As I explained, however the product was constructed, if it failed I would rely on the warranty for replacement or repair. Before he left, Greg measured the two sections of gutters that would be replaced. His measurement of one of them overstated its length by three feet. Within a day or two, I received from All About Gutters what purported to be a quote, but contained none, and a message stating, "We're excited to get to work, so if you'd like to proceed let us know and we can get started!" Eventually, another representative of the company, perhaps the owner, sent the following message: "After reviewing the job site we don't feel our gutter system will be the best option for the snow and weather conditions." This was remarkable, given that Greg, who also lives above the snow line, inspected our roof and repeatedly and unequivocally recommended the company's system. No one else from the company visited our house, i.e., the job site. Moreover, the Gutterglove brochure, which the consultant did think to bring and left with us, states: "No need to replace your gutters. Gutterglove Pro fits any gutter-to-roof scenario." "Any" means "any." So both the gutter replacement scheme and the excuse provided by the company for not proceeding contradicted the manufacturer's brochure. The representative suggested that we look to other gutter installers. This is a tacit admission that his company's products and installation techniques are inferior to those employed by others. The bottom line is that despite Greg's proclamations about the company's products and installation approach, the company was unwilling to stand behind either. They offered no warranty of any kind. Dealing with them was a complete waste of time.

Wasn't sure what kind of company you would look for---Christmas decorating company? Handyman? Electrician? Wanted someone who was knowledgeable and experienced with lights and it turns out Anthony was the perfect person because he's used to climbing on ladders and tall houses when doing gutter cleaning! Plus he's very skilled with Christmas lights installation, having done many houses! Contacted Anthony and was able to receive an onsite quote the same day. Prices were reasonable. On the day of installation, Anthony showed up and worked diligently for the next 6 hours or so. We were amazed at his level of detail and loved how he wanted to do things right, even if it meant him staying longer in the freezing cold! The end result is fabulous---we've gotten a lot of compliments on our lights and our next door neighbor has already booked Anthony to install their lights as well. Definitely contact Anthony to install Christmas lights, for gutter cleaning, or even just handyman projects! He's awesome!

I wish I could leave a positive review, but based on my experience this April, I cannot recommend…read moreAnthony's Gutters & Groundskeeping due to repeated no-shows and an installation issue that was never corrected. We hired them to clean gutters at both my home and my elderly neighbor's home, as her overflowing gutters had been flooding my lot. We also had Bryan install small gutters on our sheds. Unfortunately, my gutter was installed with the wrong slope, causing water to run toward the dead end rather than the downspout. This was easy to confirm with a level and by observing standing water after rain. Over the following two months, I contacted Bryan at least six times requesting a correction. Each time, he agreed, scheduled a date, and then did not show up. There was no communication or attempt to reschedule. I eventually contacted Anthony directly, but the same thing happened: a scheduled appointment with no follow-through. The pattern of No-Shows and lack of communication became the primary issue. We also had concerns about the gutter cleaning itself. During the next rain, my neighbor's gutters continued to overflow. When I checked, I found significant debris still blocking her downspout, as well as additional buildup inside the gutter. After I cleared it by hand, the system functioned properly. (For context, these gutters are not open-top; they are only accessible from one end or through small openings beneath a mobile home porch, making professional cleaning especially important.) There were also visible leaks in my neighbor's gutters that were never mentioned. While I understand that cleaning and repair are separate services, it would have been helpful to be informed and offered the option to address them. Roof debris above the gutters was also not cleared, despite visible accumulation. I later noticed that other reviewers mentioned roof debris being blown off as part of their service, which was not offered at either of our homes. After I contacted Bryan about these concerns, he did return and addressed the roof debris and one of the leaks. Bryan did respond to some calls asking him to return to address the roof debris and one leak. Given that follow-up, I was especially surprised that he never returned to correct the improperly installed gutter. Had that been resolved after my initial requests, I would not be posting this review. Unfortunately, after multiple missed appointments over two months and no resolution, I cannot recommend this company.
