I was in town last week for vacation and thought I should have my hair re-balayaged after 2+ years. A month prior to my trip, I looked on Yelp to read reviews of different Las Vegas hairstylists who work close to the Strip and ultimately decided to book Claudia after seeing her beautiful work. She was very prompt in getting back to my Yelp private message inquiries. Tip to give those Uber/Lyft drivers who haven't been to the large Town Square shopping area, where the hair salon is located: Look Style Society is located near Saks Off 5th. Claudia's space is located within Look Style Society, which houses multiple independent hairstylists, makeup artists, aestheticians, and barbers. The place was very modern, spacious, clean, and brightly lit. Claudia graciously offered me water and candy before we began. I showed her two pictures of what I was aiming for, and we had a thoughtful discussion on whether I would meticulously take care of my hair color (I'm a wash-and-go type of person, so I decided on an ashy caramel blonde rather than a reddish mahogany, which will require more toning sessions). The whole process took about 3 hours. During that time, I had my hair bleached, toned, Olaplex'ed, washed, trimmed, blow-dried, and curled. In between, I learned a lot about different balayage techniques, the salon, and the career course of a hairstylist (I like to be educated!). When I saw my hair in the mirror, I was pleased with the end-result! I received lots of compliments from my coworkers. Thank you, Claudia! 5 stars :)

I love how she did my hair! She never disappoints! I have gotten a lot of compliments of her work. She dyed my hair purple and I've never had to have it retouched since she did it about 6 months ago. I came in with brassy, uneven hair and Claudia just went above and beyond in correcting the orange but toning and lightening on the bottom. She was so attentive and detail oriented and really took into account what I wanted. She utilizes the color melt and hand painting technique that really helps the colors blend in well. She went through the steps of upkeep and which shampoos and treatments I should do in order to optimize the results. She did not try to upsell anything or tell me I'd have to come in every month for toning which I am glad because I am very low maintenance when it comes to hair. But because of the magic she worked, I would come back in a heartbeat for a treatment or maybe toning and changing up the color. The price is very fair for finishing product. I absolutely recommend Claudia if you want to get a beautiful, subtle color melt that's great for the autumn and holidays. Thank you Claudia I love it!!!!!

I've gotten my hair done by Claudia twice and I really trust whatever she recommends me. She listens to what I'm looking for and always exceeds expectations. Also the price is so reasonable! Most places make you pay extra for a trim following a color treatment, but Claudia includes it in her services. She also includes a conditioning treatment which really saves my hair. I tend to like natural hairstyles and go for balayage or color melts which she really has perfected! I also really appreciate how much knowledge she has on her profession. I had some hair concerns that I brought up with her and she was able to recommend me products that really worked for the time in between treatments.

So lovely I've had such a transformation from my old hair! (Lots of pics because visuals help!) I messaged Claudia here on Yelp & she answered so quickly, asking me for images of the hair color I wanted to aim for. Which I personally thought was so nice as a hair stylist to prepare and have a process before the client even comes to their appointment. And everything was set with knowing I would get color, the treatment & a trim with the set price! (Which is actually good! For everything for the price!) Which is nice to know because I'm sure of how much I'm spending :) Booking a appointment was quick! I came in for my appt, and everything is lovely even starting with the location is beautiful, that it makes you feel like a literal queen. She sat down with me and went over the whole process step by step and we talked about the hair color I wanted to achieve, she was so thoughtful and was open to everything and listened to me which is important for me because I need to be 100% to trust someone with my hair. From the beginning to the end, the process was nice! I was comfortable and Claudia was so lovely to talk to! I had so many questions throughout the whole process from the type of shampoo she recommends, how frequently I should wash my hair, asking when to come back for a retouch, and countless of other things! She answered every question I felt with honesty and being completely sincere which I love. The moment I got up from that chair when everything was done, my confidence went up real quick! Along with Claudia hyping me up My hair looks so shiny & it's soo soft (bc of the treatment) But 10000000/10 recommend! I know I'll never go to anyone else for my hair needs ‍ . I'll definitely be back when it's time for that toner!

Had my hair done with Claudia today, and I was not disappointed with the result. I seldom have my hair done because most hairstylists don't know what to do with my extremely thick hair, but Claudia does! Thank you Claudia for being patient with my hair! I can't even begin to thank Claudia for making my ash blonde dreams come true & in the first session (disclaimer: I had virgin hair & this probably contributed to this quick transformation from dark brown to ash blonde) She's an amazing artist and her passion really speaks for itself. Claudia is so sweet! I asked for a blonde/brown balyage without the super cool toned "sandy" kind of look and it came out great. It was a little on the warm side for my preference at first but after using some purple shampoo it was perfect! I love how the ombre/balyage was melted, it wasn't streaky or choppy. I think she's very generous with her prices too! read more

I've been getting my hair colored since before I could remember... In 15 years I've found only TWO stylist that I could trust with this massiveness on my head: my aunt and Claudia. Claudia's been doing my hair for the past 3 years and she must have magical hands if I chose to leave my own family member for her work! Haha. I have a TON of hair. Like a ridiculous amount. Most people won't even attempt to deal with and when they do, they have no clue what to do with it. When I got to Claudia, I had blonde hair. I never knew how "bad" my blonde until she worked her magic on it!! Since then, she's taken me from Blonde, to dark brown, to ombre heaven and everything in between. & there was that one time I tested her patience and asked her to give me the LONGEST extensions ever. 300 individually weaved pieces later... I was in LOVE! My favorite thing about her is the fact that she can somehow read my mind. I never know exactly what I want, usually give her a basic idea and she somehow hits it on the head every time! Not to mention she's a sweetheart and perfectionist which are essential when you're spending a few hours together and your hair is something that can make you feel like a million bucks! My hair is healthier than it's ever been and even when life gets in the way and i can't get to her as often as I would like, she colors SO well that even grown out color looks like I just got it done. Claudia is a color correction pro i have seen her 2x and Ive gotten to the color goal I was going for she's a hidden gem in Vegas with her balayage she fixed my hair from washed/grown out old double process to a nice healthy blonde. The shampoo maintenance is sooo easy I went a whole year after my first session to redo/refresh my balayage. She's very humble and welcoming with her clients which in my past is very rare at other places I've been too. The Facility is very fabulous and tidy. Thanks for saving my hair!!! read more

YALL I CANT SAY HOW HAPPY I AM TO HAVE FOUND CLAUDIA. I am newer to Vegas and I have been on the HUNT to not only find a stylist who works with my kind of extensions (single micro bead) but also someone who is Balyage goddess. And I landed the jackpot when I found Claudia. She was able to work with my hectic Schedule and fit me in almost immediately and she is the sweetest person! Claudia is a really wonderful hair stylist! She is very knowledgeable about hair and will tell you step by step what she is going to do with it. She is very careful of what her clients want, so there is no worrying in getting the wrong color or style. She also makes it so the finished product of hair is still healthy and not damaged. Prior to finding Claudia, I had a bad experience with getting my hair dyed and was scared to get it dyed again, but Claudia changed that. I really love the results of my hair!!! The first time I had my hair done by Claudia I came in for a color correction and to remove the purple hair color from my hair. She did an amazing job and is very knowledgable of color and what worked best for my hair, and reduced the amount of damage to my hair. It looked amazing afterwards! I just saw her again today to get a haircut, and again left happy! I am never disappointed when I see Claudia! She is great at what she does and I totally recommend her! read more

There are NO words to explain how impressed I am with Claudia's work! I contacted her about a week ago, inquiring about doing a drastic change on my hair. I was a brunette, who wanted to go RED! (I know, crazy right?!) Well, with no hesitation she assured me she could do it, and we planned to do it on the 18th (yesterday). I came in, a little nervous for such a big change, but her friendly demeanor and confidence instantly flipped that nervousness into excitement. She explained the process to me, and in 4 hours, I was magically (and by magically I mean with Claudia's hard work and knowledge) I was a red head! Not an orangey color, or a bright red... but the exact Red color I had shown her/explained that I had wanted. She is seriously so good at what she does, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to have their hair done! I wish there was more than 5 stars to rate her! read more

Here on vacation and decided to get my hair done. Come here 1-2 times a year with family. Found this place on yelp down street from where I'm staying. I messaged for an appointment last night and Claudia O. responded first thing in morning letting me know she had a person reschedule and was available for me the same day. Beautiful place and easy to find. Went in and showed her a couple pics of the look I was going for. She got it to exactly how I wanted and was looking for. She did such an amazing job. Words can't describe how amazing Claudia, I was so desperately wanting to get my hair fix today (I tried to do ombré by myself WORST MISTAKE)!! Well I called different places and no one could take me in, after a few minutes Claudia responded and scheduled me to see her today at 4 pm. Honestly I'm so thankful my hair was a mess (literally) she took me in when she was already done with work that says algo. She took her time and she's so easy to talk to. Highly recommend booking with Claudia if you want baby lights/balayage! She is passionate about her work & really takes the time to color hair and will try to get the color you want as best as she can. She is also very accommodating & considerate! The salon itself is spacious & modern so you'll be comfortable during your session! Bonus: You get a mini photo shoot of your hair makeover!! read more

This review is long overdue I saw Claudia a week or 2 before Las Vegas did a shutdown due to Covid and I couldn't be any happier to have done my hair at the time I did and more importantly that I had finally found my Hairstylist!! She's the ONE!! We had spoken a few times before my hair appointment and I had addressed to Claudia about some of my anxieties regarding my hair and also about what I wanted my hair to look like and she listened and totally reassured me that we weren't going to do anything that would damage or ruin the integrity of my hair. And boy let me tell you she Delivered!! Claudia is a professional. She's knowledgeable and is very skillful in her craft. I absolutely love love love my hair and had so many comments about my hair till now and it's already 2 months after I had done my hair with Claudia. I have visited Claudia only twice due to my busy work schedule, otherwise I would have seen her more often. Those two times, I leave her salon confident and happy with how my hair turned out. Never fails. I have my hair color and highlights for years and finding the right artist is like a needle in a haystack moving from one artist to another that could best fulfill my needs. I'm glad I found her. She is very nice, accommodating, listens and addresses your concerns, affordable and does her craft perfectly. I would recommend her to anyone wanting the best care for their hair whether its color, cut or style. I like sticking to one artist for years once I find the right one. I have been getting my hair done by Claudia for two years now and I have no intentions of ever going to anyone else. She always knows what will (and will not) look good on me and never fails to leave my hair looking amazing. The biggest reason why I love going to her is not because she makes my hair "look good," but because she knows how to take care of my hair. I don't have the breakage I've had with other hairstylists and my hair is healthy and shinier than I've ever had it. She makes great recommendations for products and gives great tips on how to care for your hair (so that it still looks good when you style it on your own lol). I highly recommend Claudia - she is skilled and really knows how to work some magic on everyone she works on. read more

Claudia is amazing. I came in with hair cut too short and weird color and I walked out after a consultation comforted that she could fix it. I first got my color done and it turned out exactly 100% how I wanted it and I'm horrible at describing what I want. She asks a ton of questions to communicate with me and that way we are on the same page. I decided to get extensions and she helped me find my hair and then installed them, telling me who is very curious, what to expect and how to get the most longevity out of my new purchase. I adore her, she's awesome, talented, reliable and helpful. Fast forward a few months of her follow up services to my hair, I've hit my hair goals with my hair in pristine condition, the color I've always wanted and I'm constantly receiving compliments on it. She is a master of her craft and is constantly attending additional continuing educations to stay up on new trends which always impresses me. Amazing! I went to get the balayage done a couple months ago by another stylist and she talked me into just doing highlights. I didn't like how it turned out from day one. Claudia gave me EXACTLY what I wanted and she made sure to get me in as soon as possible. She did such an amazing job! I can't stop looking at my hair! There was ample parking close to the business. I was greeted immediately when I came through the door by my stylist, Alex. She was finishing up her current client and asked me if I wanted a water or soda while I waited in their comfortable waiting area. They have soft comfortable chairs and couches and reading material on the waiting tables. They also had this cute self love card that had little comments such as "you are loved", "you are beautiful", etc which I thought was a nice touch. Their single bathroom is clean and bright with cute decorations. The decor in the styling area was modern abstract with crazy cool triangle mirrors. While the decor and ambiance of a business is great and all, it is also great that the place was clean. The floors were very clean and all the stylists there were sure to clean up and sanitize as well. Alex was very nice and social, she knew exactly what she was doing and I felt confident in her styling. She was also always asking me if I was comfortable or needed anything which was wonderful. I am not a big talker when getting my hair done since I always get super sleepy when someone is messing with my hair LOL. I had biolage done and a trim which took about 2.5 hours. Very happy with the coloring and trim. One of my favorite things about this salon was the rinsing sinks and the neck support. It was so nice to have a proper neck support that did not make my neck hurt bad afterwards. Definitely going back!!!

I booked an online haircut for "short" (there is no description for what short, medium, or long…read moremeans, I had slightly below shoulder length hair and wanted it cut to be above two inches). When I got to the shop I was immediately asked who I booked with and what it was for. They did not ask my name to look me up. When I said Michael they asked me to take a seat. Two ladies and Michael then gathered around the front desk 3 feet away from my chair and offered to take the appointment for him. He asked the ladies why it was booked for him and they said it was online. He sighed rolled his eyes and said "No I will do it". He told me it would be a medium cut as short was around the ear length. Once I got in the chair he was friendly. But he did not listen to me about what I wanted my cut to be and he kept correcting me on my terms for hair-cutting tools and how I did not want it done. He did it the way he wanted and my hair did what I told him it would (I have thick, fine, straight-as-a-board hair) it fizzed out and looked like someone chopped at it instead of doing layers or thinning underneath where it is not visible. That is the only way to give me volume and take the weight off without giving weird frizz lines in my hair. Then they charged me for a long haircut without saying why I was charged for long and not medium. It took 27 mins to do my hair and I have never been so ready to be out of a salon. Do not go here if you are looking for a cut. Do not book with Michael if you want the price you were originally told and do not come if you don't want them to comment on your coloring and try to upsell you to fix it.

I live in Los Angeles, and we were excited about relaxing and being pampered for a bit. Despite the fact that the spa sits in the midst of a complex with hard-to-find addresses and absolutely no signage outside, we managed to locate the place and arrive on time. From the moment we entered, it was obvious that something was off. The reception area was empty, save for a lone masseuse who casually walked past us without making eye contact, and a receptionist who continued her phone conversation for ten minutes before bothering to look up--no greeting, no "I'll be with you in a moment", no smile, no nothing. Seemingly oblivious to our presence, along with the fact that we were now running into our appointment time, she chattered on. When at last she hung up the phone, she looked up and asked if we were there for appointments. We confirmed that we were, and she informed us that, unfortunately, there was a problem. She stated that there was only one masseuse present (apparently the one who had completely ignored us when we entered) because the other one doubled as a midwife and had left to deliver a baby. (You can't make this up!) When asked why we hadn't been notified before our arrival, she stated that they had tried unsuccessfully to reach my sister's phone. Given that it was my brother-in-law who actually made the appointments, we asked if they had called him. No, they hadn't. No reason. She went on to state our options: one of us could receive treatment as scheduled, or both of us could either return later in the afternoon or the following day. Neither option worked for us, so we left. To be clear, I understand that unpredictable things happen. However, the chilly reception, the blatant rudeness we were met with from the moment we walked in, and the failure to contact us ahead of time left a very bad taste in my mouth. I can think of many ways I would rather have kicked off my final day of vacation in beautiful Tyler, Texas. If you're looking for a spa that will honor its appointments and treat you with courtesy and respect, I suggest you look elsewhere.

I followed Claudia from her last location. I found Claudia by accident - I was looking for a new stylist and called a salon that was near my house and I was booked with Claudia. My appointment was for me to go all one color i was unhappy with my current highlights and just wanted to go back to my natural color. She was very patient and explained to me that she could refresh my highlights and tone them so i would like them again. She took her time and the most amazing thing is that she does not use foil - she just paints it on my hair freehand. It is really a cool technique and she is very good at it. She is very sweet and you will not regret going to her. The other cool thing about her is she is constantly learning - she takes classes and is up on the newest hair trends.
