MY daughter and I went to this foot spa recently, I would NEVER return ,it was the worst experience and scary. we booked 2 half hour foot massages, we felt we were there a long time, my daughter looked at her watch and they went over 10 minutes from our time so we said to them they went over the time allotted. They jumped up starting yelling at us, like it was our fault said we have to stay and pay for 1 hour each, we said no we didn't want 1 hour. They all surrounded us and kept yelling we owe more money so we said we would split the differece and gave an extra $5.00 each, and then we actually tipped them even though they were scary. we gave them 18% tip again they start yelling saying it wasn't enough, we walked out the door at this point. save your self aggravation instead of serenity and don't go here..... read more

It's my weekend go to with my significant other but once in a while I dont tip as heavily as I normally do, and they have the nerve to claim that every visit every tip should be minimum 10.00 regardless of what they did. I had a 2 hour massage today and I was short 5.00 to make a 20 dollar tip. Which normally I would have even left 25. She claimed I needed to tip at least 20 bc it was as a two time (2hour) visit. So when I handed her my loyalty card she only marked one box. So which is it? 2 visit or 1? If I paid 90.00 for 2 hours and 16% tip is 18 dollars but she claims 16% is not enough because they work harder than restaurant servers. No sweety it's a TIP - pay your employees fairly and you wont look so petty. You didnt complain before when I over tipped... To avoid tipping extortion I'm going to Hand and stone and pay what I came for properly and fairly. read more

I am not the only reviewer who was turned off by the reaction to my tip. I had a one hour foot massage. I paid $35 in cash and I gave a 20% tip which is seven dollars. The masseuse stood in front of me and said give me more money. This is not enough. I thought I was hearing things. A tip is what one thinks is appropriate. The receptionist said if I didn't like the massage a tip would be seven dollars and if I liked the service then a tip would be $10. I said that I liked the massage and I'm giving 20%. I never heard of anyone telling me to give them more money. Apparently there is a sign taped on the counter top that says suggested tip $10 which totally turned me off. A tip is a tip...you can't tell someone what to tip. My friend today had the same experience with her masseuse. I will not be returning to this spa. If they don't like the tips then they should be getting paid more per hour. Maybe they should look up the definition of the word "tip." Just wanted to give you all a heads up as to what you could expect. Whatever relaxation I gleaned from the hour quickly disappeared after experiencing this reaction. I have been to many foot spa shops in my day. This is truly the best! Always a temperature check when you arrive, and you know immediately the place is very clean. It is very easy to get an appointment or even just drop by. A very elegant feeling as the lounge chairs have curtains which separates you from anyone who may be near. Very, very quiet all the time which we know is not what you get from other places. The staff is amazing! Best kept secret in Plainview. Outstanding service done right. Excellent price for what you receive. I've done both foot massages and full body and I would recommend both. Pressure is on the firm side, so if you want light- not the place for you. Horrible! First and last time going. Felt like it was rushed and he didn't want to do his job let alone be there and when he was massaging I felt like I was being abused and tenderized like a piece of meat. I said it was too hard and he persisted with the same pressure. In addition to making all these noises (grunting, groaning, coughing everywhere and just slamming stuff around the room). Had an expired gift certificate. Granted it was from 2018, but I not only had the certificate, but the envelope and the receipt. It was a gift that was misplaced and found. They would not honor it. So they take your money, effectively steal your money and refuse to honor the certificate. Not a good look for a local business. I will NEVER go there again. They lost my business forever. read more

Typically have a decent experience however after my last visit I won't be returning. During the foot massage, the masseuse didn't hit one pressure point and was repeating the same motion the entire massage. Then had the audacity to ask for 40% tip afterward I had already tipped over 20%. Very rude. read more

We have gone here many times and have been happy. However, yesterday my daughter and I (made appointments in advance) did not have such a great experience. The guy who did my foot was coughing all over and did not seem to have any energy in doing massage. The girl who worked on my daughter was also working the front desk at same time and kept leaving the massage to answer phone. When we expressed our disappointment when we went to pay the girl just said sorry. We asked her to please compensate us but again she just said she was sorry. read more
