Visiting St Cloud and needed my nails done. I went for a powder manicure today - they accommodated me right away. I am 3 weeks post-op on shoulder surgery, needless to say, I needed extra care. This place possess a complete lack of professionalism-- from reception to management. We are new to the area and I booked an appointment for my wife to have self-care. She was ecstatic because moving across the country, notably with a new baby, is difficult. I had called to confirm a 3:00pm appointment. I was suspicious that they were not writing anything down because of how rushed they were. When my wife showed up, they were clearly overbooked. After nearly a half hour, she began to notice that people with 3:20pm appointments were being seated before her. She checked in with reception and they claimed she did not have an appointment. This is EXTREMELY disappointing with all of the transition in our lives. They did not make an effort to fix this and told her to come back another time. I called Lovely Nail Spa back and they denied the entire thing. The manager said that she booked an appointment with Lee-Lee (we don't know anyone there- it was our first time), and that she was up next. In essence, the leader of this branch showed complete dishonesty. So, in summary-- they told us we had an appointment, they made my wife wait for no reason and acted like she didn't exist, then lied to me and sarcastically told me to come back again soon when I asked what happened. Don't waste your time or Money First visit was for a pedi, it was a bad experience over all. I had an appointment but was called back to the chair about 15 minutes later, hey that's ok I thought. They are just running behind.. the lady did not speak English. I was asking her for a certain color and all she did was nod. Finally someone intervened after 4 minutes of this fiasco, still through the pedi I tried to tell her I didn't like the way she was painting my nails it was lumpy and a sub par job. I payed left and went on my way. I decided to give them a second chance. Let's be honest it's super convenient if you live in the area, I called back to get someone else this time for the pedi. Overall this person was better ( olive ) spoke English but the pedi itself ( even though I paid for a more expensive one) wasn't anything to brag home about. I decided to do my nails with Tony, first time was okay he ended up talking me into something I really didn't want. But first time here let's try it. Overall first service for nails was ok. Again nothing out of this world. Second time here for nails, I was going on vacation the next day. I asked to paint my nails and shape them a certain way, it was a mess! Tony either has no experience painting nails or handling longer nails. When I shared my concern he was argumentative and made me very uncomfortable. After a few minutes of showing him my concerns and flat out my getting upset Kim took over tried to fix the mess I was there for over 2 hours and still left with my nails not to my Standards. But I was going on vacation next day didn't have a lot of options. Last straw, came back from my vacation at this point I said okay last chance. I requested to refill with Kim I had an appt at a certain time I was waiting for 35 minutes they hadn't called me, I got up and said I was leaving. Tony's response the owner was okay bye, so they don't care about customers, they just want to make money using sub par products and sub par service and get away with it if one doesn't complain it's never acknowledged. I went to lovely nails today for a pedicure and ended up choosing to get a set of acrylic nails as well. Everyone there is very helpful and kind. I told them I wanted the acrylic nails, and picked out a color of polish I wanted. Immediately, the girls working there told me I should get gel. I clearly said no, I only wanted regular acrylic nails, nothing fancy. I only wanted my nails to look nice for a funeral I am attending this week. They kept on telling me I needed gel. I said no three different times to three different people. I was then told that it doesn't make sense to get the regular polish because gel polish won't chip, stays shiny, and will last for much longer and WAS THE SAME PRICE as the regular acrylic anyway. I said no again, and then another girl repeated to get the gel because it's the same price and was going to be so much better. Fine. My nails were done and I go up to pay and see they charged me an additional $20 to get what I very clearly stated I did not want! An acrylic set is $35 on their menu of services, and they charged me $55. When I objected, they didn't care. To top it all off, my nails a very poor quality. I work with the public and will be sure to share my story with anyone who cares to listen. I am beyond mad. I will never return. It's a shame, because the girls were all very nice. read more

The nail salon is clean and plenty of seats to accommodate customers. Staff is friendly. The only reason why I rated this place a 3 is because they do not value the word 'appointment'. Some of us have made appointments and they take someone new 2 minutes before we arrive knowing we have an appointment. I find that to be unprofessional so I've learned to just go throughout the week instead. Side note: I always ask for Kim who is exceptional at taking out all of my cuticles! Well I went here today and I was so excited to finally get my nails done after so long. I haven't had them done in like a year! I had them set on short square nails with a nice teal color. Nothing crazy. I showed her the picture she said she could do it. It's literally the easiest thing ever. So she did my nails and toes in gel. The color is alright not a huge fan. But I spent $80 and my nails look like absolute crap. I've never been so upset with my nails ever. It was the lady in chair number 4. I couldn't even say anything I was so in shock of how bad they came out. I really want to go back with my boyfriend so he can tell them how awful they are and to either fix them or give me my money back. I cried in my car in the parking lot. She didn't do the blush color for my toes after applying the white and then did only 1 "top coat" with OPI clear polish (NOT a top coat btw) My French-pedis usually last over 2 weeks without chipping, it was flaking within 2 days. Very bad customer service. No regard for long time customer that needed the polish fixed after 1 day. Claim they cannot guarantee regular polish to last more than 2 days. They dilute the regular polish so it doesn't last and they push you to pay for gel polish which ruins your natural nail bed. Prices have gone up and up and service and quality has gone down and down.
