Called yesterday to set up an appointment for a pedicure. I asked if they do acrylics on the toes and the lady I spoke to said they do. About halfway through my pedicure this morning the lady doing my pedicure said they don't do acrylics on toes and she seemed upset that I even asked. From that point forward I felt very rushed. On top of that the gel color is very uneven and not the color I wanted. I don't think I'll be back in the future. read more

LOVE LOVELY NAILS!! Had to get a fill and change my gel polish color. Wasn't too thrilled with my last salon so I looked around. Their cute little spot is right in old downtown Lincoln. All of their employees are so nice! My friend and i walked in and were immediately greated with warmth. Her 8 y/o son was with us and they brought him a chair tho sit next to is instead of the waiting area. They really cleaned up her hands and painted them gorgeous. My touch up was Awesome! I have been getting my nails for 15 yrs and when I'm due for a touch up I would just find any salon to do them until I found Lovely Nails!! I have been loyal to this salon for 3yrs now and will not go anywhere else! Kimmie does a AMAZING job on my gel manicure I work in the dental field and am very rough on my nails and I can still go 3weeks in between my visits due to the quality job she does and in the event I do chip or break a nail (always my fault) she fixes it and never charged me or makes me feel bad. They really go the extra mile to ensure you are a happy customer and return again. Kimmie always paints beautiful artwork on my nails for which I get compliments on daily! The place is not fancy but customer service and quality is A+!!! I love love LOOOOOOVE this place!! It's a cute spot in old town Lincoln. I've been coming here for years ever since they were next door in a smaller spot. I always leave satisfied never disappointed everyone who works here is very friendly and amazing at what they do. I always go to the mom and Kim they know exactly what I like done. I moved to Sacramento and I always come out here every once in awhile just to get my toes done. They never rush their customers their so friendly and sitting in the chair is so relaxing unlike some other places. I can actually sit here and relax while getting a pedicure. I've been here many times for a pedicure, and they have dealt with my special need for acrylic big toe nails (required after damage from 25 years of competitive running) without missing too much of a beat after my first visit. It's an older salon in downtown/old town Lincoln, so don't expect some fancy slick salon. Lots of locals are repeat customers, and the friendly staff are for certain the reason why. Pedi chairs are the usual massage type, and there are some magazines and even a tv running. No AC so it can be a little toasty on a hot afternoon. Great service--I recommend if you aren't into high end salon design. read more

I have gone here 6 times in the last 5 months. I was very happy the first 4 times I got my gel nails. The last 2 times I went the technician seemed to rush through it and they chipped within a week and a half. I called one day at 11:30 to get an appointment for that day. I was told they did not have an appointment open until the next day at 4 pm. I am not sure why they say they accept walk ins when they cannot get you in until late the following day. Their site say they are open until 7 pm. I cannot believe that they could not fit someone in when they were open 7 and a half hours more on a Tuesday. I went somewhere else. read more

The shop is pretty small and the first time is kinda hard to find. They are so nice there and will remember who you are and will always greet you and make you feel welcomed. Called ahead to ask if they did gel pedicures and was informed that they did. When I got to my appt and asked to see the gel polishes the man waiting on me (never did get a name) told me they didn't do gel pedicures. When I said that I had called in and asked this, he agreed to do it. He did not know how to remove the gel properly and ending up drilling it off my toes. This was after he tried to yank a piece of polish off and ripped my toenail. The water in the foot bath was scalding, I'm not a wimp, I love hot water, but I couldn't keep my feet submerged in the boiling water. I did not get the parafin wax part of the pedicure that everyone else was receiving, though I was charged full price for my pedicure. He also tried to shove both of my fee under the UV light at the same time. I have small feet (size 6.5) but they still don't fit under the lamp at the same time. My little toe kept getting burned. I am also amazed he didn't ruin the polish trying to shove both my feet in there. To top it off the guy was incredibly rude and demanding the whole time I was there, definitely not a relaxing experience. I was looking to save a little on my no chip pedicure and I did, $33 here compared to the $75 I paid elsewhere. However, I definitely got what I paid for and I think I'd rather pay the extra for the better treatment. My grandmother got a pedicure at the same time from one of the female employees, who was very sweet and did a lovely job. She's definitely going back. I'm not, for fear of getting the same guy again. read more
