This is a small nail shop that's by appointment only, with only 3 employees and they are all so kind and sweet. When they say appointment only, they really mean it! They don't do that here, which I very much appreciate. It's very modern and clean and bright, which provides an even better nail experience. I get a gel builder manicure done by Lily and she's very good at it. She works quick but she's so gentle and still very attentive to detail and care. My manicures last 5+ weeks when she does them. Mia has also done my nails and she provides the same experience for me too & does hand painted designs really well. Hannah, while I haven't had the pleasure of receiving a service from her, she's still kind and chats with me anyway. These 3 ladies are great at hospitality and so kind. While they don't offer 3D designs or very intense nail art, they do their best here to give you what you want and excel with simple designs. They also offer a variety of nail charms, polishes, cat eye polishes, chrome, and more - following the latest nail trends. On top of all the good stuff I just mentioned, the pricing is fair and competitive. I never spend more than $80 here for a mani which is fantastic because at other salons, I would've been charged over $100. They don't tack on hidden fees here and they are very transparent. First of, her studio is COZY. She offers coffee, matcha, or water during your service (some at a charge). She will decorate seasonally and it's just a vibe. If you don't like chatting, she has a huge tv playing behind her and will let you put on whatever show you like. Second, her attention to detail and being a perfectionist is something I appreciate when it comes to my nails. She is not only worried about the outcome but overall nail health. I had taken about a…read moreyear off from getting my nails done, and knowing I was going to be proposed to, it felt like the perfect time to start again and enjoy some self care. Audrey was initially very educational, informative, and accommodating, and I genuinely thought I had found a girls girl. After my second set, I decided I wanted to remove the hard gel and focus on getting my natural nails healthy again. When I shared my goals, Audrey let me know she would still charge the same price regardless of whether I was getting product or just natural nail care, which did not sit right with me, cause integrity where? During the removal, (in which she charge full price for with no problem, again integrity) a significant amount of my natural nail was taken off. Afterwards, I was advised to purchase a nail strengthening product. I did purchase one that evening, but my nails were far too painful for anything to even touch them. My nail beds were left beet red, painful, and throbbing for over a 2 weeks. After a few days, I decided to cancel my next appointment, which was scheduled about 6 weeks out, to allow my nails time to heal. I reached out respectfully to share feedback and explain why I canceled. Unfortunately, the response I received was dismissive and did not acknowledge what I was experiencing, even after I sent photos, I was gaslit. While I was eventually refunded and an apology was issued, I was also told not to book again, which felt surprising given the situation, especially since she did the damage. Now that a few weeks have passed, I am left with visible splinter hemorrhages on my nail beds, which are small broken capillaries under the nail typically caused by trauma. Overall, this experience was disappointing. This could have been handled with more care, accountability, and a willingness to help resolve the issue, especially when it comes to nail health and client trust. How businesses engage with clients matters, especially in the age of social media, also surprising. This resulted in not only lost business, but also what could have been a loyal, long term client. New customers just be advised, not a girls girl and loves to gossip about others! Pictures below.
