Ever since Love's Travel Stop opened in Tonopah, it's officially become our go-to midpoint stop. It's clean, convenient, and exactly what you hope for when you're breaking up a long drive. Love's has become our go-to stop when we're on the road. Their locations are consistently clean, well stocked, and easy to get in and out of. The staff usually keeps things organized, and the stores are maintained better than most places along the highway. Their app is also surprisingly useful. It makes planning fuel and rest stops simple, which helps a lot on longer drives. Overall, it's a reliable place to pull in for gas, snacks, or a quick meal. read more

Fantastic store. We stop here every time we are going from Las Vegas to Reno or vice versa. Just up the street from the Clown Motel in Tonopah, NV. Great gas prices and a discount when you use their loyalty app. They have absolutely the best soapy water to squeegee of all of the bugs and other gunk that gets on your windshield on your drive. Inside they have clean restrooms for their customers and even showers for the truckers. Snacks? They have them. Coffee, soda, other drinks? They have them. Hot and cold food offerings? Got those, too. We even buy gifts at this store. They have unique knives, cool commemorative coins, and other terrific items for friends and family members. There are at least one or two fast food places inside as well, but we stick with what Love's itself has to offer and have not been disappointed. If you're looking for affordable gas and a convenient stop, you must go to this love's. They have a pizza place, affordable gas prices, laundry room, clean bathrooms, snacks and even a dog park. Typical albeit small Loves Travel Station. They have the usual full small store foods and snakc, plus a bunch of mystery tubes of meat? on rollers. The gas prices were in line with everywhere else. This stop had both a fried chicken place as well as a pizza place you could get food from as well. Update: Hot showers, BUT everything remains the same this time one of their employees walked in while I finished showering no knock anything. Just walked in. Luckily I was dressed. for a loves this place is lackluster. i always come here though because it's better than the other options and im a loves member so i get 10 cents off a gallon which is an insane deal. the last time i visited here the bathrooms were down though which was a massive inconvenience. the bathrooms here are also pretty tiny, only 3 stalls. they also weren't the cleanest compared to other loved locations i've been to. the restaurants attached are also pretty horrible. but the loves still includes everything you need to clean your car at the stop and any snacks you may want. i've noticed at this location though the roller food isn't always stocked. overall the best stop in tonopah but compared to other loves locations i've been to this one is definetly lacking. read more

Last time I drove from Reno to Vegas (and back) this was under construction. Yet my most recent trip for Thanksgiving, lo and behold it was open! Nov 22 and Nov 25 were the two dates I drove past it. On the 22nd I made note of the gas price compared to where I normally stop in town, and it was cheaper than Giggle Springs in the center of town! I didn't go into the actual Gas Station Store on the way to Vegas, but on my way back on November 25, I went inside. The store was super clean and I just grabbed some caffeine and shnackos. The cashier was friendly and got me in and out in no time. Safe to say this will be my new place to stop and get gas! read more

Love's (and similar truck stops) is a place where you fill up, use the facilities, buy some snacks, and head on down the road. We did all of that as we were heading to Hot Creek (near Tybo), especially when you're in one of the many parts of Nevada where there's no similar business for many many miles. As a "tourist" bonus, a few Burning Man "features" (or should I say Muddy Man 2023) were at the pumps as well. The place was busy when we were there, with front counter service being reasonably efficient. Outside, inside, and bathrooms were all clean, at least to my imperfect eye. read more

Stopped to get gas, saw they had Chester's chicken and Godfathers pizza inside. Decided I didn't want the prebaked pizza so settled for the chicken tenders combo. Disgusting, dry chicken, also can tell these are very processed chicken tenders based on how stringy the meat is. The potato wedges are equally dry, the crunchy batter was stale and not so crunchy. Everything in the hot case looked like it has been sitting there for 12 hours and this was at 3:30PM. Their Dr. Pepper was severely diluted at the fountain machine too. Waste of $16+ I didn't even finish it, it was so gross. read more

I wish I could give negative stars. I thought loves truck stop was supposed to be clean, and friendly. None of which I saw at this location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Don't even get me started on the night time crew but day time as well, a lot of attitude from people who clearly don't want to work, a clueless manager[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], the place was wrecked, and shelves were more empty than normal. Pure chaos in that store. The are seeming to be falling apart the last week or so. Used to be my favorite spot in town! I hope they get whatever changed resolved.
