West Side, Southside, Cauli Park and The "Skegee Taco all on lettuce
    Gregory C.

This is one of my favorite neighborhood spots. They have the best tacos, guacamole, and chips, margaritas and Palomas. They have an option to get corn or flour tortillas, or lettuce wraps, which I normally do. I like the west side and south side, which are the seafood options and the cauli Park and ske gee which are the vegan options. Dese the owner and Kaylah one of the bartenders provide great service and I am glad they are close by so I can frequent them!

This is a perfect Taco Tuesday spot in College Park. They had special deals including discounted food and drinks. The menu is very inclusive of those with dietary restrictions or that want vegetarian/vegan options. I did the vegan birria tacos and they were soo good and came out fast, along with chips and guac. I think the chips are made in house. They were so fresh and had a delicious crunch. The bartender Meg was amazing!! She was so friendly, personable and made incredible recommendations. I had two house mango margaritas and a couple shots with my friend that night. The location had a great music playlist going and I think one of the football games on their tv, so a very chill bar environment. I definitely will be returning on my next visit to Atlanta.

yummyyy! i'm grateful for more restaurants near me that offer vegan and plant based options. i tried the birria with the cauliflower / walnut meat tacos and salmon tacos. salmon was just ok but loved the cauliflower one with the birria. also churros were just ok. we ordered take out and they packaged everything nicely. no problem with the service.

Small establishment and pack your patience but the food was great. The bartender stopped a few times to help in the kitchen. We ordered 2 margaritas and yuca fries while waiting for our entrees. Yuca fries were different however they were thick and crispy. Entrees- 2 tacos each and they were packed with ingredients. We would go back however make it a to go order.

Starving after my flight from Denver found this place on Yelp. Quaint but enough seating for several diners and bar patrons. They have a few TVs to watch sports or movies. I ordered the Birria chicken tacos and a side of chips. I dined in since I don't have a microwave in the room. The server was pleasant I think was the owner/cook maybe??? The tacos were delicious and the chips made with flour tortillas.

Our food and drinks were delicious. All of us had different tacos: Tex mex, birria and salmon. The salmon was the best, the birria was decent (I expected a lot more flavor and the consume had one small piece of meat in it). The bartender that made our margaritas did a great job, they were really good! I didn't care to pay $20 for three tacos especially since they weren't that big but they were good.

I came here for a networking event and got there early so I ordered a lemon drop from Megan who was amazing. After the event I decided to try a couple of tacos because I previously heard the food was good. The birria was my favorite. Flavorful and cheesy. The owners are good peeps too. Def recommend.

This place was a cool little spot that has a lot of spark. Friendly crowd and a nice staff. I definitely enjoyed the tacos. The Detroit was pretty good along with the shrimp. The jerk chicken was ok. Thank you for the great experience and good luck on pursuing your passion in the nail tech industry in the ATL.

Beyond Meat Taco and Beef Taco

Well well well... consider me speechless! The owner, Desi, personally reached out and asked me to give them another try. There had been a new cook in the kitchen during my last visit and let me tell you, this time the experience was magical! I started off with the chips and dip again...5 stars all the way! The queso was perfectly creamy, the guacamole was fresh and vibrant and the elote dip was the star!!! I paired it all with a delicious margarita topped with Tajin rum...chef's kiss!! I ordered both the Beyond meat taco and beef taco. And believe it or not, the Beyond was even better than the beef!Just delicious. The flavor, the texture...everything was on point. I'll definitely be back again. If you're near College Park, this is the spot to check out!

The standout on their menu is definitely the chicken birria tacos. Unlike most birria tacos that rely on the dipping oil for taste--often resembling plain vegetable broth--Zubi's serves tacos that are packed with flavor and will have your taste buds dancing the cha-cha slide. It's the perfect spot for Taco Tuesday, celebrating a win, or catching a game. These tacos offer a delicious twist on the traditional Mexican recipe. The waitress was a master with the drinks. I've had watermelon margaritas before that were either all water or all melon--never a true watermelon margarita until now! "Take it back now, y'all," because she knows how to get funky lol. I made the mistake of ordering wings, which weren't the best, but that's on me--who orders wings when the tacos are the main attraction? The decor is simple and understated, without the typical flashy grass walls you often see in Atlanta. You'll leave satisfied and find yourself thinking about those tacos later in the week. The kitchen was short-staffed the night I visited, so if your order takes a bit longer, FREEEZE --it's worth the wait.

2 Skegee Tacos and 1 Kauli Park...
    Haron K.

I very MUCH like and appreciate a 97 "Health Score" in 2024!! I had the Skegee Tacos and Kauli Park Tacos and dem s--ts were ABSOLUTELY Stellar!! (I'm a spicy hot pootie though and the Skegee Tacos did draw a few beads of sweat along the way - Tread with CAUTION!!). I was pleasantly surprised that the flour tortilla shells were lightly fried with cheese on the outside - That was somethin' different! Zubi's is the smaller side, but not a phone booth and seems to work just fine for their traffic. The music possibly coulda' been just a tad bit lower- volumed, but didn't bother Me in particular and Zubi's is also considered a bar, so you know (Just throwin' that out there, if you might be noise or Hip-Hop sensitive). The owner and Bartender were very pleasant and inviting and the atmosphere was kool. I'd give Zubi some decimal points and a higher rating if I could, but as it stands, I'll give them a "4" - BIG UP Zubi's!! =)

Actually found this place on Yelp while leaving a Juneteenth festival in Hapeville. Read the reviews and thought we would give it a try and support black business on this day. I am glad we did. I had a vegan birria and a cauliflower taco. Both tasted really good and the dipping sauce was spicy like I like it. My tablemate had the birria and Zubi taco which they enjoyed but beware the zubi was hot. The food comes a little slow but the staff were nice, pack your patience as they make your food and gwt ready for a great bite.

I love this place so much! I feel like I've been once a week for the past month, so I'm long…read moreoverdue to write a review about why you need to come to Bole! To start, the space is nice, spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated. Dark wood tones, colorful artwork, scenic landscape screensavers on the TV screens near the bar, and Ethiopian music pumping through the speakers (but not so loud that you can't hear the people you're with). The staff is also so sweet with great energy. There's a full bar with great drink prices, and I still need to try the honey wine. One thing to note is that the food is made to order and does take a little time (like 20 minutes or so), but when you dig in and start eating you understand why. I will wait every time, no problem. My favorite dish is the Fish Dullet and my favorite side is the brown lentils. My partner gets the Awaze pretty much every time. If you haven't tried Ethiopian food before, this is your sign to do so. If you already like Ethiopian food, make sure to stop by if you haven't already!

Beautiful decor! Delicious food!…read moreAttentive service! Those are just three of the reasons that Bole received a five star rating. This amazing restaurant located within proximity of the airport is truly a gem in the Metro Atlanta area. The exterior is well lit and encompasses a wraparound porch that has ample space to potentially host a party. Not sure of their outdoor intentions as it was fairly cool when I visited, and look forward to checking out again in the warmer months. Parking is available at no cost, with ADA compliant entry. From the moment I entered, I was impressed with the art in various forms throughout the restaurant. This include included pictures, sculptures, and even a traditional Ethiopian coffee set up. Our party was fairly large and sat to the right of the entrance where tables were pushed together to form one table with chairs on one side and bench on the opposite. I did notice that the other areas had tables that were spaced in the very larger room, as well as a bar area with television and would appear to be an area for music/Dj set up. The food was amazing as well. Amazing is the word of the day regarding ballet! I ordered the Bole Awaze Tims signature platter with lamb, other meat options were available. I also ordered the Timatim fitfit salad, a side of beets and had the hot spice tea as my beverage. The portions were ample and included a basket of njeri, the traditional spongy accompaniment used to eat the contents of your meal. The Timatim salad was extremely good, and a meal in itself. My food was seasoned well, and I enjoyed each and every bite! My tea was delicious too! A traditional us brand teabag was placed on the side for addition, but not necessary at all. The spices which I believe included cardamom were more than sufficient and truly warmed me adequately. Despite having an a large party, our server managed all orders like a champion, and made sure that no one had to guess on menu selections. She provided information in educated in the process. The overall vibe was that everyone was impressed and enjoyed their meals. As previously mentioned, I look forward to returning to share the extremely personable ambience and great food selections with others. Definitely a great location to celebrate a special occasion or for a delicious meal with a long layover.

I was able to park right in front of the door, greeted immediately once I stepped inside and able to take my choice of seating. I'd already looked at the menu while on the plane and placed my order shortly after sitting down. I was ***pleasantly*** surprised by how quickly my food came out once I ordered. As I often do when visiting a place for the first time, I ordered an assortment of items. Two for dine in and one to go. My ranked items are below. 1. The red velvet spelt pancakes are different but worth trying. Not as fluffy as VHOP or the biscuits from Sevananda but still enjoyable. 2. Again - surprisingly - the Rasta pasta was a 2nd fav! Creamy. "Cheesy." Flavorful. 3. The lion's mane and hush puppies were just okay. The hush puppies - again - were different. Both items veered on the salty side. 4. The potatoes and vegan sausage side items were also just okay. Overall, I had a good visit. 10/10 for service. 7-8/10 for food. BUT still worth a try.

For airport pricing it was priced accordingly just like if you have a nice meal out just under $24 with a soda. I had the catfish (3 pieces), Mac & cheese, and the fried brussel sprouts with a piece of cornbread. All the food was delicious! The catfish was breaded lightly and fried to perfection, the Mac & cheese was just right not too creamy with the right amount of cheese mixed in; while the Brussels sprouts were fried they retained the crispness and crunch in the warmer. The small piece of cornbread was the surprise, though small the corn meal use was the right amount so the cornbread wasn't dry. If this was plated at a nice dining restaurant, I would have easily paid over $28-32 for the quality of food! Hopefully there's another opportunity for me to try more dishes available.

The woman working at the register seemed withdrawn but quietly kind, almost as if she was uncomfortable showing kindness in front of her coworkers. I actually felt bad for her. This was not just "rushed" airport service. It felt intimidating and completely unnecessary over a basic request.
