Borderline hangry after finishing our first leg, we were searching for food (breakfast or lunch) only to discover most places didn't open until 11am. BUT Jimmy John's was open and that alone felt like a victory. Pulling our giant relay van into the lot, we were surprised to find that this particular location is what looks like an old converted gas station. Quirky but it honestly added to the fun and delirium. Once inside I ordered a #4 Turkey Tom with cheese and I swear the sandwich was made fresh before I even had a chance to pay. The efficiency here was mind-blowing and exactly what we needed mid-relay. The one thing that brought my rating down a star was the water situation. I grabbed a cup and after filling it up twice, I noticed some brown flecks floating around. I'm still telling myself it was just old soda syrup in the lines or something harmless but it was enough to be weary. Aside from that hiccup, it was a great experience.
