On Thursdays they serve half price brews!

Whenever we visit Pittsboro, we pick up groceries at Lowes grocery store. Since we were there last, the store has been renovated with a new look. They also added an area called the Beer Den where you can get a pint of beer from local breweries and drink it there. What is really nice is that these pints are 1/2 price on Thursday. While I was there, I tried a beer called Yeah Toast. It was delicious and literally tasted like French Toast.

The store was completely renovated in 2020 and it's an amazing experience!

The store has undergone a massive renovation and it is night and day difference from the old store. The Beer Den is much bigger, they have a place called the "Cakery" where you can get amazing cakes, they now chop fruits and vegetables for you, there is a full coffee shop called "Boxcar" which makes amazing hot and cold drinks, and their online pick up and delivery service - Lowes Foods To Go - is awesome! What a difference!

Very good food and very high prices, I can barely afford to shop here. But the items are of high quality.

Good store, friendly staff, good fried chicken. Have appreciated pre-prep veggies and the flower shop.

I wasn't initially a fan of Marco's Pizza when my parents recommended it 2 years ago, but recently,…read moreI've realized that it's much better than major pizza chains like Domino's, Pizza Hut, and Papa John's (Why have you fallen?!). Ordered an XL Supreme pizza with extra cheese + 3 cups of garlic sauce for takeout via Marco's website for $17.22, and it says order would be ready in 25-30 min., which was fine since it will take me around that to get there to pick it up anyway. Website looks professional with clear photos and coupon deals that will automatically discount when you order online. I got notified when my order was ready via email, and overall, online transaction went smoothly except... I had no issues with parking but the spaces were pretty limited. When I got inside, I told the young employee dude my order number, and he handed the box of XL Supreme pizza right away. I asked for packets of parmesan cheese and crushed red peppers (something that Domino's now charges), and employee asked if I wanted a lot, and I said, "Yes, please." So he gave a lot of both, but I noticed that something was missing: garlic sauce. I'm pretty sure I ordered 3x cups of garlic sauce but I almost left Marco's without. I told them I ordered them online, and the friendly employee said that it only comes with 1 free, so he asked another employee, and whom I assumed was the manager to check the system, and somehow, it wasn't in the system, but they gave the 3x cups of garlic sauce anyway. The employee apologized for the technical mishap. Ambiance was typical: Like many pizza chains, Marco's doesn't really have any seats inside, so I drove back home with the pizza. The XL Supreme pizza with garlic crust was truly supreme: with good amount of sausage, pepperoni, and everything else. Highly recommend the garlic sauce with the parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper to spice up your pizza. The XL pizza was sliced in 12 slices. Come to think of it, this was the best Supreme pizza I've ever tried, and will likely order again. I've also tried their Hawaiian Chicken, Philly Cheesesteak, and Pepperoni Magnifico before, but I think Supreme tops my rankings here. The receipt encouraged me to take a survey so I could get free cheesy bread next time I order, but the QR code that's supposed to be in front of the receipt is missing, so I couldn't take the survey. Hopefully, the higher-ups of Marco's will come across this review instead. Can I still get free cheesy bread?

We always do takeout from this Marco's location because it's very close. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 only because the online ordering was very difficult from my phone.

You can genuinely taste the difference when something is made to order like this. Whether you eat it right there in the H Mart food court or take it to go, the quality holds up. My go-to is the Spicy Garlic, which has fantastic flavor, bold, savory, and just the right level of heat without overpowering the chicken itself. The sauce clings perfectly to the crispy exterior while the inside stays tender and juicy. It's the kind of place you go back to again and again because it's reliable. No surprises, no drop-off in quality, just consistently great fried chicken done right. If you're a fan of Korean fried chicken or just great fried chicken in general, Chicken Bee is an absolute must.

The Supreme Sauced Half Chicken is tossed in a special gochujang sauce (advertised as medium spicy). The sauce was sweet, savory, delicious, and perfectly spicy. It truly had the right amount of spice for me! It made my nose run a little bit (in a good way) but didn't blow my socks off. I was able to enjoy the flavors but had a good burn on the tongue. I got rice as my side. It was overcooked and boring, but the chicken was so good I honestly didn't care. I got rice just in case the sauce was too spicy for me and I needed something to soothe my tongue. When I eat here again, I'll get pickled radish as the side!

As an African American woman, soul food is more than just food to me. There's a certain authenticity and flavor I expect when I walk into a soul food restaurant. I ordered several items and after tasting everything, I honestly ended up throwing the entire meal away. I took a bite or spoonful of each item just to give everything a fair chance, and every time I moved on to the next thing, it was another disappointment. The mashed potatoes had a strange aftertaste that I couldn't get past. I don't know if it was the gravy or something else, but something tasted off. The barbecue ribs tasted more boiled than slow cooked and were completely drenched in sauce. The cabbage was overwhelmed with vinegar and lacked seasoning. The mac and cheese tasted more like overcooked noodles with cheese instead of flavorful baked mac and cheese. The cornbread was dry, and even the cake was dry. I will say the restaurant was clean and the employees were friendly, so I have no complaints there. My issue was with the food quality and value for the price. Spending around $80 for a meal like this did not feel worth it at all. Maybe other people love it, but based on my experience, I don't understand the hype. The food just did not taste authentic or well prepared to me. I wish I had stuck with my original plans and just gone to Mikey's Diner in Wilson, North Carolina instead. At least I would have left satisfied. For me, this wasn't worth the drive, wasn't worth the money, and I won't be returning.
