If I could I would have done 0 Stars. . So I go into Lowe's and am looking for a basic 30 in range hood. Found one walked up to pee and there was a total of one person working the self-checkout area and one other Checker in the Pro Lumber area. There was about six people in each line and it was going quite slow. . I spent more time in line then I did. Walking through the store to find my product and walk back. . Then when I get to the job site to install this fan. The Box had previously been open and I was missing two vital parts, the adapter from Square to round pipe, and the plastic vent cover. So not only Did it? Take way too long for them to take my money and get me out of the store, They sold me an item that wasn't even complete. I am never going. The curbside pickup is poor. I waited 35 minutes before having to go into the store and wait 15 more. A week later, I wAited 39 minutes and no response. I went into the store and the employee was rude and abusive and rude. I had the assistant manager cancel my order. I am done. I will go to HD always from now on. read more

I hate to give this store a single star, it pains me to do so. I ordered flooring through Lowe's. They were helpful in getting it ordered and schedluing an installer to come out and measure. Installer came and said I would need to have plywood installed to raise the height of the floor. I thought that sounded fishy. So did the Flooring manager at the store. He said I shouldn't pay for playwood when what I wanted was a floating floor. He asked me to come back and to pick another floor if I wanted. I couldn't find another type of bamboo I wanted, so I went with a different type. They again scheduled for delivery and an installer. This time, the flooring came, my wife and I looked at it and she said, "this isn't your flooring". Indeed, it wasn't. Also, after waiting around all morning, the installer never showed up during his two hour window. He did, show up, four hours later. I was on my way out the door to get to the offfice since the floor wasn't installed in time. Lowe's should inspect the quality of their contractors. They are not customer centric (the contractors). I will thank Robert and Julie for helping me, and for understanding the family situation I was experiencing. Many thanks to them. Standard Lowes experience I've come to expect. The staff was helpful enough. I felt like the selection was sparse for what I was looking for, but I may have been looking for rare items to do some custom insulation work. In the end, I found everything I needed and used self check out to make it a quick trip. I road a bicycle there, as they are right off the interurban trail, but they have ample parking both for standard customers and contractor types alike. read more

He was very friendly and understanding and has since then resolved my issues. I purchased a stand up freezer on line with free delivery. They called and told me I was to or far away to deliver. Burien. 20 minutes, Really? I agreed to pick it up myself the next morning and they assured it would be ready. Got there early and the order wasn't even picked yet. Waited around for over half an hour. When they brought it out, they didn't even have a way to load the it in my pickup. They refused to use a fork lift. They only had one guy and no clue. No other employees available. So myself and friend had to load it by hand with some help from the guy. We are both about 70 years old. This was ridiculous on Lowe's part. This was not my idea of free delivery. I should bill them for our time. Freezer is great. Very happy with the price I paid. read more

I had a horrible customer service experience at this location.The store manager and all the other employees are very friendly, except the assistant store manager who I think discriminates me whenever I go to the store. Since they didn't solve my problem, I shop at the tukwila Lowes which I believe has a better customer service ,and respect for their customers.This is the end of 2015 . I ordered and paid for kitchen cabinets. The first scheduled delivery was supposed to happen three days ago on Saturday. That evening a representative from the delivery company told me the delivery had been canceled by a store employee, but nobody called me to tell me why. Sunday I went to the store looking for answers, and an employee told me he would work at finding out what was going on and call me when he found something out. He never called. Monday I went back to the store to ask what was going on, and I was assured by a manager that my cabinets would be delivered today, which is Tuesday. No cabinets were delivered. This evening I called and spoke to a manager and told him what was going on. He took my name and phone number with the promise of calling me back as soon as he knew what was going on. We'll see what happens. I will never buy anything from Lowe's again if I can't take it with me when I leave. read more

Went looking for a Door Jam. Had a hard time finding. It was a slow afternoon but none of the staff offered to help. I stopped two separate staff members to ask where to find door jams. Both just pointed to an aisle and said to head in that direction. Neither offered to help me find it. I will not be shopping there again, never did find what I was looking for, but after asking two people, I figured that they weren't looking to help. I went in to take back 2 pathway lights that I had extra from the 20 or so I bought from my driveway project. I didn't have the receipt or the card I paid with. I asked the girl if she could give me the benefit of the dought. She said if she gave everyone the benefit of the dought, they would be broke. Very unprofessional. I felt VERY awkward like she was treating me like a criminal. I had never experienced this from other stores like Home Depot, Target, Walmart, Fred Meyer, ect. I asked to speak with a manager and she replied, "this is not a manager issue, it's a store policy." I asked again to speak with the manager. The manager came over and approved the return. I came back later that night at 8pm to use the store credit and they only have one cashier working with 4 self checkout lanes that are all closed. At one point the customer service was top notch, but not these days. The appliance department went to hell in a hand basket when the one person with half a brain went to the plumbing department then just vanished. I would seek her out for help consistently being she really knew her products and wasn't afraid to help in any area outside of either appliances or plumbing. After she left and the rest of the decent sales force followed her this place went down fast and hard. Being from out of the area but own rental property locally I can honestly say that this place is a waste of time. The sales people know nothing about their products, have no idea how to communicate, and frankly make me feel like I might as well not waste their time trying to do business there. Kary otte the manager of lumber & building material at lowes was EXTREMELY helpful! After 5 plus failed attempts to contact Home Depot and getting put on hold for over 10 mins 3 times and being transferred to one dept. (bldg n material) to another (paint) then back to the first (bldg) then to the operator who asked if I was the same person on hold and said she was going to transfer me back to paint before I had a chance to say don't! He transferred me back! No one helped or offered an answer and Kary did and offered a detailed answer with helpful hints to all my questions. He informed me about how lowes has helpful videos and how in store workers who actually do the work or have done it have tags saying "professionals." He really had me impressed! read more

Scheduled two more times for delivery - still haven't shown up. No one answers the phone at the store when we call. Lowe's Corporate Customer Service couldn't even get them to answer. Lowes carries my water in 5 gal bottles and its is the closest place to get it. I am disabled and cannot reach the 5 gallon bottles. In order to get help carrying out the water be prepared to wait a few minutes. First the guy who runs the self-check looks at me like I am a thief when I used my own redemption tickets when their machine is not dispensing them. God forbid he stepped in to help. From now on I will drive the extra few miles to Walmart or Albertsons to get me weekly 5 gal bottle. read more

We needed a new patio door, purchased and installed. We were sent to Lowe's by the Covington Home Depot and we are so thankful they sent us there. The first night we were met by KC. She did not work with doors but she pulled out the work schedule and told us which employees would be working and what hours they would be there. We went back the next day and worked with Cody. He quickly explained the process and got us started. The sales process was seamless. We are scheduled for installation in a few days and I will follow up after the install. I will ALWAYS go to this Lowe's store for anything we need done at our home. read more

Terrible store! Looking for kitchen cabinet doors and drawers. Person in department told me to go find a cabinet style before she would talk to me. Finally was able to make an appointment to have them come measure. Was told they would not bring a sample for wife to view. Made an appointment. My wife was then contacted to make an appointment to have our FLOORS measured. When she explained about the kitchen cabinet doors and drawers, she was told they don't offer this service. She asked for sales manager, who was not at all helpful or offer an apology that their staff did not know what services they did or did not offer. read more

this place is almost to big. I do a lot of online shopping and have it will called, other wise at can take a long time to navigate and check out. I wish there were more people to help you find stuff, that's why I do the online thing. I got a premium toilet here for $150.00 that was $190.00-$350.00 elsewhere. I searched for a week to get the best deal, then when on the way out the door I double checked availability and the price dropped down another $30.00 to $149.95!. Okay people, this is a store where you get stuff for your house, if you don't know what you need, then maybe you should not be doing what your are trying to do. Its been my experience at lowes, their employees are somewhat trained, but I have to laugh when I am there and see a grown man holding a part, and asking a young kid employee, how to fix something. I would be embarrassed to ask. I admit I am more qualified then most in home repairs, but again, if you don't know what you are doing, have it done professionally. I have seen so many simple jobs turn into big, expensive repairs because someone tried to fix it themselves. This store is nicely located, good organization, friendly employees. I like it. read more

Worst service EVER! I ordered screen doors in May and the end of the story is I have no doors and still no full refund. It is July 29th! I urge you to buy from any other store but Lowes!! Every time I have come here I receive terrible customer service in one form or another. This was the last straw. When I went there to find a product that Lowes.com had listed as being in stock here it was no where to be found. Not being able to find assistance in the area - a morning meeting with much ado and clapping was happening a few isles over- I went to the front cashier and requested assistance. When assistance finally arrived the guy attempted to be helpful and was quite nice but also could not locate the items listed as being in stock. He appeared to have sought assistance from another person and when she came over everything went down hill from there. Rude, would mildly describe her. Self important and self appointed expert would ...albeit she was no expert and was sorely lacking in customer service skills. She disparaged on the product I was searching for insisting I use the very same product that had repeatedly failed when used in my situation. She was so outwardly crude and rude that the other person who initially tried to help appeared quite embarrassed listening to her diatribe. I left the store without the product and went to the Kent WA location to purchase it. It was installed the next day has has worked great since. I contacted Lowe's Corporate office with my complaint and they assured me that I would hear from upper management at this location within 24 hours. At about 9 a.m. on July 22nd, I arrived to pick up a bathroom sink and fixtures, and to buy a couple of gallons of fence paint. I parked close: across from the loading entrance, two spaces from the driveway, because I'd need store help with lifting/loading the sink. First stop was the paint department where I asked a guy with a grey pony tail for the same grey paint I'd used before. Both gallons were presented with the ridges around the caps full of bright blue tint that was supposed to be incorporated into the paint. The employee made no offer to re-mix/replace or even clean the mess up. And I ended up with blue tint on hands and everything I touched. Then I headed for the loading/millwork area to pick up my bathroom items. Nope. On-line pick-up items are retrieved at the opposite end of the store from where I was/was parked. Once there, I was told to move my car down to that area. By then, the lot was nearly full and I noted to that employee that it was about the same distance to where my vehicle already was to an available space in the lot out front. My stuff loaded onto a flatbed, I commented for the third time in the overall transaction that I needed help getting it into my car. "Oh, we don't have loaders here. You have to go to the other side of the store (where I was parked) for that." Huh? Then why ask me to move my car? So I navigated the cart back to where I started and approached a middle-age female employee behind the millwork desk who seriously acted like I was an unwelcomed intruder. When I asked for loading help, she made a couple of calls, muttered "Shit!", and spoke briefly with a co-worker passing by who apparently wasn't available to help. Without a word, she ended up accompanying me and helping me load. From start to finish, this woman just radiated generalized resentment, as if she hated being in the place. As for my experience? Eek! Methinks one star is an overstatement. read more

I came in to this Lowes on 06-10-14 at about 730 pm ready to buy a brand new washer and dryer and wanted to look at 2 different ones and the paged someone 2 times and still no one came. so me and my girlfriend left very upset because we were ready to spend $2,500.00 on a new washer and dryer. so I went to best buy and bought the LG washer and dryer I wanted and not only was it great service that I got it also was about 150.00 cheaper as well I will never come back to Lowes. read more

Big box yes, but with a small hardware store feel (if you know how to work it). I'm here a lot, almost daily sometimes. Over the years I've gotten to know a lot of the staff and if you know who to ask they know everything about their department. Don't let his age fool you but Bob in the electrical section knows everything there is to know about breaker boxes to baseboard heaters. The Wolfgang in the plumbing isle will find that 3/8th compression fitting for you in a flash. Bill or Chris in appliances know every model on the floor and will look anything up for you. I deal with the commercial sales side and would highly recommend Derek if you can deal on the weekends. I save all my big sales for him unless it's an emergency because he takes the time to find everything I need to complete the project. Overall this is a great store but with so many employees there are bound to be one or two that just don't quite know what they are doing. Give them time they will either learn or disappear. One last thing, they have the best delivery team ever. The Joleen (I hope I spelled that right) always calls ahead to schedule and sometimes is there to deliver, Nate, Glen & George have been there for quite some time and I can say are the most professional delivery people I have ever met! This is a great place for the pros and the do it yourself people. read more
