I have shopped this store for years until tonight and will never shop here again. I purchased an almost $400 carpet cleaning machine from this store and took it home and it worked at most 4 times and it was mediocre every time so I decide to take it in and exchange it for a new unit. When I first arrived at the store I was told they would need a managers approval for the exchange seeing as how I didn't have the box. I don't know about you but i hardly have room for my family at home let alone a gigantic empty box from a carpet cleaning machine. I was then informed the manager on duty was in a meeting and was told it would be at least another half hour, this was after I had already waited almost half an hour and the store was pretty much empty so that already didn't make sense but nonetheless I agreed to wait because I had no other options. After 45 more minutes the manager finally appears and he literally walked up and just said nope we aren't going to do the exchange. The man didn't let me speak he wouldn't hear me out at all just simply said "NO" and walked away. He was rude and I have never had this issue before. I have done a similar return without issues with this particular store twice before but the way I was treated tonight is unacceptable and I will no longer do business with this store. The point is I was not asking for money back nor was I asking for store credit I simply want them to exchange the unit that I spent a lot of money on because it doesn't work. And I don't see why it is an issue when I purchased it from them. That just tells me that they don't stand by the products they sell and that doesn't make any kind of good business sense! read more

Went back today because my father had the wrong measurements for the cabinet. Lowe's delivery did come in yesterday and remeasured and the refrigerator purchased didn't fit. He told my dad to just go back to the store, get another one, and they would still haul away the old one and install the new one free of charge. We got a different model, even cheaper and it came with an $80 rebate (in the form of a Lowe's gift card). Process to get the new one was easy and Jeremy, the Appliance Sales Specialist, was really friendly, patient and helpful. Went with my dad to get a refrigerator. Anne, Appliance Sales Specialist, was just so helpful and friendly. She gave us all the information right away and the refrigerator my dad wanted wasn't available at the Havana store so she called the Buckley store to make sure they had the right one and they were able to schedule it for delivery the next day. My dad and I went to the Buckley store and were helped by J.D. He was also very friendly and helpful. The price was right and got an additional 10% military discount so my dad saved over $100. The pipe coming from the wall was centered, however, the one on the new vanity was not. After perusing through their nicely stocked plumbing parts, I was able to come up with a solution. I headed into Lowe's to find supplies for a backyard lighting project. It can be overwhelming trying to find everything on your list when you're not used to navigating these enormous home stores. Right away I encountered Jamie in hardware. Jamie was super knowledgeable and friendly. She knew where everything I needed was and with the help of Bobby, who was equally friendly, cut the ridiculous amount of guide wire I needed. Afterwards, I stopped by lumber to get a piece of wood for a shelf. David from lumber went out of his way to cut me what I needed. Absolutely horrific customer service. My husband and I purchased a Weber natural gas grill 2 weeks ago. The grill retailed for $900+. Above the grills inside there was a banner that advertised free assembly, delivery, and install with purchases over $399 or $499 (can't remember exactly which number, but regardless our grill qualified for this promotion). Our first issue was that there was absolutely no one in the grill section to help us. We stood in the area for about 5 minutes before walking over to the appliances to ask for help. The lady there seemed annoyed that we were asking for grill help and not appliances, but she called for customer assistance for grills. Eventually someone did find us but they knew absolutely nothing about the grills at all. He made me take a picture of the item number on his scanner so take to the customer service desk to buy the grill and set up delivery/install. We stood in line for quite awhile in the customer service area and when we get up to the cashier she told us she couldn't help us and that we needed to go to the normal check out line -- annoying but fine. We walk to the checkout lines and I tell the cashier that we'd like to purchase this grill and set up the delivery/install. They seemed incredibly confused and told us we need to go to customer service. I told them we had just been at customer service and that they told us to go here. The cashier grabbed another associate who thankfully did know what they were doing and we got the grill bought and the delivery and install scheduled for Wed, 24th. Wed the 24th comes around and the delivery guys show up. Very friendly and were the only nice experience we've had with this Lowe's. When they rolled the grill up to the backyard and removed the moving blanket the grills as FILTHY (see pictures below). It looked like it had been sitting out in the rain or had been sprayed down with water and then dust settled onto it and made this sticky consistency. Inside the cabinet below the grill it was covered in dust (see picture). All in all it looked as though the grill had been sitting outside uncovered for a week before it was delivered. I told the guys, "Wow it's pretty dirty." And they apologized and said, this is how we picked it up from the warehouse, we didn't personally assemble it. When they are about to leave I ask if they are also here to connect it to my gas line as I was promised by the promotion displayed in the store and confirmed with the cashier when we purchased the grill. He apologized and said he was only here for delivery and that they were not allowed to connect gas lines and that's another person. Since obviously he is only here to deliver, I decided to go into the store this past weekend with my husband to sort out the filth issue and the no install issue. We go to the customer service line and the cashier calls a manager. An assistant manager comes over and she already looks like she is annoyed that she was called over. I don't know if it's because my husband and I are young, but we could tell she did not take us seriously at all and had absolutely no desire to solve the problem THEY has caused. I explained the above situation and very rudely she just kept repeating, "The warehouse was really dusty last week," and "I wasn't here when you purchased the grill." When we asked about the install issue she just kept repeating that we'd have to pay $150 to have their installers come out and "that someone has to pay for it" meaning us. My husband asked her if she wanted to remedy the situation at all and all she said was, "Well someone has to pay the $150." Not one apology came out of her mouth and again she had no desire to remedy the situation. So if you want to buy a $1k grill (with tax) and have it brought to you as if it was used and then have an assistant manager show no empathy over your concerns of how they handled the product you bought then come shop at this Lowe's. If it's not clear, we will be shopping from now on at their competitor. read more

Do not give Lowe's your business. I ordered a washer and dryer from them over 3 weeks ago and had delivery scheduled for today. Their third party last mile delivery just decided not to deliver it and go home for the day according to the person I spoke with at Lowe's. I have no updated delivery target and my family has been without a washer and dryer. It wasn't even 5PM when I called the store and the "delivery coordinators" had already all gone home so I can't even get an answer before tomorrow. Totally unacceptable. read more

Awful customer service. Staff doesn't know where anything in and just points in a general direction that from my experience is usually wrong. I would much prefer a personal experience where they walk you to the aisle and item that you are looking for, I asked for a manager and they sent me a non-manager that was a source of my frustration to begin with. Don't have a problem with all Lowe's but will no longer be going to this location and will be going to Home Depot from now on. Time and time again, we have come to this store and not a single person has been willing to help us. Today, however, the gentleman in the paint department was more than helpful and was extremely pleasant to work with. Sadly, the cashier and another man at the front dashed any good experience I was having with their attitudes. My cashier began to argue with me about something the paint guy had told me and rather than let me check out and leave, she flagged another man down to drag him into the conversation. He also made it worse by telling her that he had an actual customer who was waiting and to ask someone else. Lowes is like the Walmart at the home-improvement industry. The selection is OK. But what makes it terrible is the caliber of people that they have working there. It seems as though they want to hire the most degenerate, lazy, unengaged people imaginable. For the most part, the people that work at Home Depot know what the hell they're talking about. Everyone at Lowe's seems like it's their first day on the job and they have no experience with the products or services that they represent. Truly a disappointment. Earlier today I asked an employee at this Lowe's for help finding specific pavers I saw online. While we were looking in the aisle in the garden dept., I mistakenly mixed up the numbers and told him the incorrect item # for the product. I realized my mistake when he showed me a different set of pavers. When I told him I may have mixed up the item he responded "Well i can tell you where the bathroom is so you can look in the mirror and see the limiting factor there." For the record, I'm a female in my 20s and he is a middle-aged caucasian male. I was floored that an employee would say something so blatantly sexist. I didn't see his name tag, he was wearing a bandana style face covering and a bucket hat. This isn't the first time I've experienced sexism and misogyny at a hardware store and it won't be the last, but Lowe's should know when their employees fail to uphold an otherwise welcoming atmosphere. read more

Beware of the free installation, tear-out, and haul-away carpet deals at Lowes. The actual price vs the original quote varied from $1177 - $1600. That's a big difference The flooring staff were rude and stood behind their crazy measurement. I don't know how they figure you need 852' of carpet in a 890 sq' unit, which has a tiled bathroom, laundry room, kitchen, hearth, and entry. I am very disappointed with the lack of professionalism in this department! and then to be told "they don't need my business".... I've usually had a good experience at this Lowe's as I have spent well over $8000 here the last few months finishing my basement. I ran out of compound while texturing my walls, I drove to Lowes and arrived 5 minutes before close. As I was walking in the front door I asked the manager walking by if I could run and grab a box of compound super quick and he stated "we're closed." As I told him it was 5 minutes until 9, he again stated "we're closed." Closed the door and locked it. I understand I showed up last minute, but I had one thing to grab that would've taken me 2 minutes, while there were still a few customers in the store. read more

This is one of the best-run Lowe's stores I've been in -- and I've been in MANY Lowes, in multiple states. Having been in another Denver area Lowes where the saw was out of order, I tried calling first before visiting this location. I expected to be on hold for a long time or to play round-and-round with the automated system, but no. I go transferred straight to lumber, an associate (Eric) answered right away, snd he said the saw was working, to come on down. When i got there, he and another staffer helped me find what i needed, cut it to the specifications, and load it on the cart. They even went to a different aisle to cut drywall and bring it to me. The store is more than adequately staffed (rare in these pandemic days). Everyone I asked for help in various departments was knowledgeable and courteous. When it came time to load the stuff in our small SUV, it did not fit, so I had to rent a Lowes pickup to being it to the destination. I was nervous driving an unfamiliar vehicle in an unfamiliar area (we were visiting from another state), and Eric and Jeff, who did the rental papers, were both kind and reassuring. The female staffer who checked me in when I returned the truck was also friendly and helpful (I didn't get her name). Bottom line, service at this Lowes is definitely five star. The staff made a stressful event so much easier. I would definitely recommend this store. Now ... about that truck... of course it's a very basic model (I didn't know they even made manual windows anymore). That's fine, but the driver's seat should really be more adjustable. It could not go up and down, so seeing over the dash was a challenge. Customers are all different heights, and i think an adjustable driver's seat is a safety issue not a luxury. That's the only suggestion I have, and it is probably not specific to this Lowes. read more

For whatever reason Lowes generally has more of what I want in the general decor category than Home Depot; so we end up here a lot! From paint, to flooring, to flowers for my yard, Lowe's delivers. This one in particular always has what I am looking for in stock when I check online. It isn't quite as bright and shiny as the one over near Southlands, but it has what I need and that is what is most important! Wide aisles, good inventory and reasonable prices. read more

Always looking for new projects :) However, every time I go to the Lowes off of Smoky and Aurora Pkwy they NEVER have what I'm looking for and when they pull it up this Lowes always has it in stock. DO NOT schedule a project through Lowe's!!!!! I scheduled a flooring project to re-do the floors in my whole house. First they scheduled me only to find out that Lowe's doesn't do the scheduling. Had SEVERAL back and forth conversations with Lowe's and the install company. Basically everything Lowe's told me about scheduling was not correct. Then they delivered my laminate a week before install (this is typical since the laminate has to acclimate) which is totally fine. The delivery guy gets to my house and tells me he can't carry the flooring into my house because he has a medical condition. Why the heck would Lowe's send someone who couldn't lift anything????? He left it in my front porch. I called Lowe's to have someone help me bring the flooring into the house. YEAH THEY DON'T DO THAT! According to Lowe's it is the responsibility of the customer to bring the flooring into the house. Lowe's only has to drop it off outside. I carried 25 cases of laminate flooring at 33 pounds a pop into my house by myself. This is more trouble than it's worth! I'm not even sure why I am paying them to do this work when they have been nothing but trouble. I was going to have them do my bathrooms over the Summer but I will definitely find another company and store. Lowe's has lost me as a customer! read more

I'm currently the duchess at this Lowe's for damn good reason: old house that needs lots of updating. I've had a few times when staff are unavailable, but for the most part I find the staff here go out of their way to be helpful. Most will stop what they're doing (unless they're with another customer) and walk you to the area you need, point out helpful information and make sure you are good to go. I've h ad off-the-charts assistance in flooring, lumber, garden, smoke alarms, you name it, seems like I've bought it. Returns or exchanges are never an issue. I did have one problem with purchasing paint. The completely mixed the wrong paint, which to me was a huge waste, but they made it right quick & easy. Ok, so I typically come here for the usual DIY stuff, nails, screws, garden, etc...but I was in dire need of Cat5 networking cable, and I knew they had other cable, so I chanced that they might have Cat5. Since it was only a few minutes from home, I told myself 'what the heck...give it a shot'. Not only did they have cable, they had both pre-cut, bulk and all the stuff to make Cat5 cables...and the kicker, it was way cheaper than anywhere else! The curbside pickup is a joke. Got the email it was ready, pulled up and called the listed number. And called and called and called. No one picked up. When someone did they extension that was posted to enter was the wrong department and when they transferred it disconnected. After 30 minutes another car pulled up and was able to get through immediately. I ended up just approaching her outside for help. She said yeah it's busy. I said I get that it's a Saturday, but I've been here for 30 minutes and no one is answering the phone. Eventually she took my order number and went to get it for me. read more

Thank you Lowe's for a great customer service experience. Earlier this year before Covid, we ordered kitchen cabinets and a countertop through Terry, in "Kitchen and Bath Cabinets". Terry was great to work with and drafted a floor plan for our remodel and helped us in making the right decisions for our kitchen. Terry also stood by us to resolve a problem with our self-closing drawers many months later. Terry and Jeff from Diamond Cabinets even came to our home twice, once to see our problem and a short time later to resolve our concern. We enjoy our new kitchen and appreciate Terry from Lowe's and Jeff from Diamond for standing by us and their great products with superb customer service. read more

We just waited over 20 minutes for that "someone" else and then walked out. We will be shopping for everything at ACE from now on. About 18 months ago, we purchased a side-by-side Samsung refrigerator from Lowe's. We also purchased a three-year extended warranty -- and that was a good thing, since the refrigeration section has broken down twice in the last six months. The first service happened just two days after we called, and it seemed to fix the problem. However, 9 days ago the same problem happened, and I called on a Sunday for a repair ticket. I was told that the service rep would arrive on Monday between 8-12. I waited at my house until 12, and then was told, when I called, that the date of service was actually another 11 days away. No explanation was given (when I angrily asked) about why I was told the repair person would arrive that Monday. I stated that waiting another 11 days was unacceptable, and then was told they had found a date 8 days out. I accepted that. I called today (having now waited 9 days since my fridge broke down), and was told again that this date was also incorrect, and it would be another three days. I will never buy another major appliance at Lowe's. Let me emphasize that each of the reps I spoke to on the phone were very nice, but I was given inaccurate dates twice and all the food in my fridge had to be sacrificed. They give you $150 for lost food, but that doesn't cover the cost of what's stored in your refrigerator, and does nothing for the inconvenience of not having a refrigerator for almost two weeks. They obviously need to do better training of their customer service reps and make contracts with more service repair companies. BOOOOOOOO Lowe's!!!!!!!!! read more

I should have checked the reviews before I headed over to the store. Not only is there no customer service (only one cashier in garden section and he has no knowledge of the department he's working in), but the most ridiculous thing of all is they wouldn't accept an in-store credit. Their BS reason was that only the person who got the in-store credit attached to their driver's license can use it which is absolutely ridiculous. My mom gave me this card a few months ago and I needed to buy some paint. But I can't because it's not her driver's license and she's out of country. They don't give a shit about you or want to help you out and I think it's absolutely ridiculous that you can't use their own store credit when everyone knows that customers with store credits always spend at least 30% more than is the value on that card. I would have spent 100% more than that's on that card but they totally lost me as a customer. I don't know why I even bother coming here because I always go to Home Depot anyways and there's a good reason why. If you need anything related to Home and Garden go to Home Depot or Ace or anywhere that is not Lowes, especially this location. read more

I had the gall just now (10am, 2-28-19) to ask the fellow working in the paint department if he made keys. He said he did, but he was certainly too busy to do it at that time. He said in fact, it would be a 'good five minutes' before he could even consider it, and was kind enough to hold up his hand so I could get a visualization of what five looks like.
