I was told at the store at the time of purchase that the delivery day would be on one day just to have them send me a text message and change it to another day. This is not the first time this store has told me one thing and did another. The staff does not care about the customers they only care about not working. I had to just about beg the women to help me as there was no one else in the department to help and she was on the computer doing something. And then asked if the delivery day was good and I said no! Just to have the day I said no to be the day they are coming out. And then I was told I would, through a text message, have to go to another site to change the delivery date to another one. Like I said this is not the first time this store has treated me this way. I have heard nothing, but bad stories about this store, and the costumer is always treated badly. I am so disappointed with Lowes warranty service on carpeting. I keep complaining and they just keep sending me back to the same customer service number where I get no help. A shout out to the customer service rep -- did not get her name -- who provided such kind, friendly, and thoughtful service to us today. We needed 4 legs/feet for a leather chair missing them because of a recent move to a new home. She walked us to the aisle containing what she thought would be the right item and all the while engaged and monitored my wife, who recently suffered a stroke and is having cognitive issues. She couldn't have been more compassionate and considerate, and I for one can't thank her enough for going that extra mile and showing such human decency. And yeah! The chair legs/feet fit perfectly. Lowes installation department is HORRIBLE. I have tried to use them 3 times and they have dropped the ball EACH time. They are unreliable and they do not care. Don't waste your time. This Lowes is smaller than most and has a somewhat odd set up. I will give u a hint that the glue section is on a side aisle in the middle of paint and not as bountiful as most Lowes. What they lack in products they make up for in excellent customer service. I have had friendly associates that have helped me in plumbing, hardware, lumber, and tools. Ordered closet doors with installation over 2 months ago. I have seen nothing . I'm being told they have one person doing installation for 5 stores. This is truly ridiculous. If Lowe's of Brevard has no better control of their employees than this why would you want to do business with them? We went into Lowes today about 2:30pm and it was busy. My husband is on a cane so it is challenging for him to walk for extended periods of time and/or distance. After getting the 8-10 things we needed and seeing the self check outs were closed, we waited in one of the two lines open with cashiers. Once we got up to unload the items we were told that it was cash only as their system was down and couldn't process any cards! We left the items behind and will go to Walmart to get them there and definitely cheaper. That was and hour of my time I will never get back! read more

The contrast off shopping in other areas similar to Brevard's store is hands down a straight flush . On 2/4/22 my wife and I went to the Brevard, Lowe's Store # 1990, Managed by Brent McCrimmon, to purchase a refrigerator. We did, and it was suppose to be delivered on 3/4/22, and they would also pick up my old one the same day. I was told not to be worried if two different trucks came, one to deliver, and one to pick up the old one. The morning of Friday March 4th 2022 at 8:05 a.m. I received a phone call stating my delivery would be delivered between 1p.m.-5p.m., at 11:40 a.m. I received a phone call that they were 5 mins out. Lowe's picked-up my old refrigerator as scheduled, and I waited until 4:50p.m. with NO refrigerator delivered or phone call about delivery. I placed a call to store #1990 explained the situation and was quickly handed to a assistant manager by the name of Chris, again I explained the situation and was placed on hold, and he never picked up the phone again, in fact it was quitting time for him, and he had clocked out and left me on the phone, with no answers, and NO REFRIGERATOR. My delivery date had been moved from 3/4/22, to 3/8/22 without notifying us, but remember THEY CAME AND TOOK OFF MY OLD REFRIGERATOR on 3/4/22, leaving us with NO refrigerator. I went down to store #1990 and spoke to the "acting" manager where his answer was, "sir you will have to purchase another refrigerator, until yours comes in on March 8th. I was forced to buy a "temporary refrigerator," bring home by myself, unload, and take into my home. I bought it, brought it home, and decided we weren't comfortable with having over $3,000 in refrigerators on our credit card, excepting them to really return it when the time came. I returned the one I was forced to buy on 3/5/22. I received a phone call on 3/6/22 from Lowe's automatic service informing me that my delivery date for the original purchased refrigerator would now be delivered on 3/14/22, again I have NO refrigerator because Lowe's picked up and hauled away my old property under the false pretense that I was getting my new refrigerator delivered the same day. My wife went to store #1990 on 3/7/22 and spoke with the Store Manager Brent McCrimmon, where his suggestions were 1. I could buy a more expensive refrigerator that was in stock, and didn't have the features I wanted, or 2. I could purchase another "temporary refrigerator" until my was delivered on the 14th. She decided to purchase a cheap one again, still running my CC over $3,000 in refrigerators, with the GUARNEETE from Store Manager Brent McCrimmon to be delivered on Tuesday 3/8/22, and that it would be accepted as a return. My wife waited all day, and yet again no Refrigerator was ever delivered on Tuesday March 8th. I called and was told it would be up till 8p.m. for delivery, because "they were running behind," well 8:05 p.m. came and I went and cancelled the order of BOTH refrigerators, again had Lowe's not taken my old one, I would still at least have a refrigerator. We were leaving on vacation on 3/10/22-3/14/22, and I decided I would take care of reviews, and such when vacation was over, so here I am letting everyone know: 1. DO NOT EVER BUY AN APPLAINCE FROM LOWE'S, go directly to an appliance store. 2. Never deal with any major purchase from Lowe's Store #1990 because management can't even do things right. We need to recognize a team is only as strong as their leader, and Brent McCrimmon Store Manager of store #1990 is lacking in leadership, organization of employees, merchandise, deliveries, scheduling of deliveries, and overall duties & knowledge of his job. I have now been without a refrigerator for 6days, throwed hundreds of dollars worth of groceries away, because one man doesn't know how to operate a store on management level. read more

This place out does any Home Depot I have ever stepped foot in. The customer service is incredible. Employees come up to you and ask if they can help all the time. As an added bonus, they ACTUALLY know what they are talking about! The place is huge. It has everything a hardware/home improvement store should have. However, It does not always have the best price. There are a lot of items that you could buy for cheaper online or through Walmart. The downside is the paint department. We have had nothing but problems with their paint. The first few batches (Olympic brand) had globs of congealed latex paint in them. There was no way to stir them out. The second batch (Valspar) completely separated if left to sit for more than five minutes. Some of the paints were off color from the sample too. During the summer, they offer packages of bottled gatorade. Inside those packages is a $10.00 off your next purchase. If you use the coupon, it is like getting the Gatorade for free! Basically, hit this store up for everything except paint! read more

This place has the worst customer service ever. At 5:30 pm on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, there were two cash registers staffed with 6 people waiting and 6 employees idly walking around. Oblivious manager walks by line of irritated customers to tell jokes with his boys in the paint department until the kind clerk at the returns desk we were giving the stink eye to cherrfully comes over to help. Came here to buy plants. Got a cart. Chose the plants and the Lady rang me up and gave my dog treats. I say it was an easy experience with absolutely no problem. Now... I see others have wrote not so nice comments. Management take a look, read, learn & respond. I'm not from this part of the US. Like most places you have the good and you have the not do good. The customer is ALWAYS #1! Even if they are not so appealing. Make it happen! Train your employees! Get rid of the ones who do not perform to the standards of the Company. In-store is fine. But, attempting to order anything for delivery by phone has been impossible. First time no one ever answered in the garden department. Tried another day, and got an answer from someone who sounded like it was an inconvenience to get the call. He sent me back to the front to process the order, and after holding for 5 minutes, while she took care of other customers, I was cut off. Although convenient and well stocked, customer service can be a challenge. Not sure if it the employees or the perception that the store is understaffed, nevertheless, relying on personal service can be a frustrating experience. However, it's the only game in town. Absolutely amazing. I spent $1400+ on an appliance and was guaranteed delivery on Sept 17. I have called, begged and pleaded for information as to where the appliance is. I was repeatedly assured I would be contacted the following day of my calls as they tried to track it down but not one of the three times I called did they call me back with an update. Finally, after waiting two weeks longer, I called again. The lady told me it was at the Lowe's in Brevard, finally. I expressed my disappointment that no one had called to tell me this and I asked when it would be delivered. I was told I'd have to wait again! Not one gesture to help after being put off so many times and not one apology for the inconvenience. On my last trip to this store, I experienced some of the worst customer service I have encountered in quite a while. I spent over 1,000 dollars for materials for the small company I work for. The employees who helped get shingles off the top shelf and deliver to the front of the store REALLY gave me the impression they did not want to be there-- let alone show some good attitude and helpfulness! I've honestly NEVER been as disgusted with any purchase and subsequent experience as I have been with this purchase at Lowe's. I cannot even begin to express just how insufferable every aspect of the entire 37 DAY process has truly been. This may sound melodramatic as it was only the purchase of a dishwasher with instillation; however, Lowe's and all related agencies involved in the process made this simple transaction an absolute nightmare. From the in-store customer service, to installation scheduling, to installation customer service, to the promises of alleged compensation, it was all the worst I have ever experienced in my life. #1- We were lied to and misled into using Lowe's installation at the time of placing our order. Before we even could buy our dishwasher, we waited almost 30 minutes in the store only to find out that we would have to come back again later because the associate we had been waiting on wasn't even in the store at the time. Second, we were told that our dishwasher instillation would be free after a rebate, only to find out after much effort that the associate was wrong and we would be stuck with the charge. Third, we were assured that the process would be fast, and would not take longer than a week after we had made it very clear we needed the new dishwasher ASAP and were more than willing to handle the delivery and install on our own. Fourth, the associate assured us that the steep gravel driveway to our house on a mountain would not be an issue for the delivery. He even made a point of telling us several times that he had noted the need for the delivery truck to be 4 wheel drive. This last part ended up being the primary reason for the repeated cancelations, despite offering to help transport it to our house ourselves. #2- Instillation with Lowe's involves an extremely convoluted system! Lowe's uses an outside agency, Install LLC in our case, to schedule subcontracted install techs from various other smaller companies to do the installations. You are told that the agency will contact you to schedule the install as soon as they are notified by Lowe's that your appliance is in. We didn't get our automated call about the proposed install date until almost 2 weeks after placing our order. Better yet, the call informed us that the proposed date wasn't for another 2 full weeks, a total of 27 days after buying the dishwasher. They also inform you that you will receive a call with the details about the install the day before the scheduled install date. We NEVER received one of these calls for any of our 4 scheduled dates, we had to reach out to Lowe's installation customer service who then reached out to Install LLC, who then reached out to the subcontractors. #3- All 4 of our installation appointments were canceled last minute, like after 6:00 pm. To add insult to injury, we were only ever made aware of these cancelations after being the ones to initiate contact. For each of these scheduled dates and times, my husband and I had to make significant sacrifices at work to accommodate the install techs' schedules. #4- We spent hours on the phone with various reps from all of the various departments involved. When we expressed our desire to cancel everything and go elsewhere, we were assured that our valid concerns were heard, that they would make things right, and that we would be appropriately compensated for our considerable inconvenience due to all of their mistakes. While we were still trying to find out who would be coming to our house and when on day 37 after our purchase and not reaching anyone, I was finally contacted by a representative from the NAL Group at 11:30 am. The rep was extremely rude, and poorly informed regarding the full extent to which we had been inconvenienced throughout the process. She initially offered only $200 which barely covered the cost of instillation which we had previously been told would be FREE and had been the whole reason we still didn't have a dishwasher over a month after buying one. When I got emotional due to my disbelief, the rep's communication became even more indecorous. In fact she cut me off to nap that she would follow up on the install scheduled for that day, would call me back, and HUNG UP ON ME! I tried calling her back throughout the day and NEVER heard back from her. It's 9:00 pm now, so I think it's safe to say she isn't calling back. #5- Once it became clear that things were not going to work out after our fourth attempt at an instillation had also been canceled at the very end of the day, we insisted on canceling the order and being fully reimbursed. When the representative called back to confirm our refund had been issued, we found out that the store associate had made an error and the refund was almost $200 short. At this point, 37 days after going to Lowe's twice in one day to place our order, I still have almost $200 in charges for a dishwasher I do not have. read more

This might be the worse store I have ever been in. My wife and I went in intending to buy a refrigerator. We selected the on we wanted and looked for a sales person. None were to be found. We pushed the button for service and heard the page requesting a sales person to go to appliances. After 15 minutes and four more pages we walked out. On the way we asked for the store manager and the women to whom we talked said she didn't know who was on duty and didn't bother to stop, walking past us as she rudely replied to our question. This store is ok to buy things at but I don't recommend their installation services. On June 2, 2015 I placed an order for one replacement window. The salesman said it would be installed in two to three weeks and because they have a two window minimum I would be charged for two installations. An installer called on July 1st and said the soonest he could schedule it was July 16th. I told him that was unacceptable. On July 2nd another installer called and said he could do it July 11th or 12th. I told him the 11th and I asked him to call me when he had a better idea when he would arrive. He didn't call so at 1pm I left. The guy was also extremely unprofessional, telling me what a bad cold he had and asking me for technical information about the type of installation it was. I told him I was sorry about his cold and suggested he look at the window that's been sitting in the store for two weeks to get the technical information he needed. Bottom line: it's been five and a half weeks and I still don't have the window they promised in three weeks. read more

Beware of this store. This is personally the most appallingly awful experience I have ever had with an installation job. Correct measurements were not taken so the designer guessed at them. Of, course they did not work. I have had cabinets sitting in my living room that could have been installed in my laundry room weeks ago. I have the guts of my laundry room all around my house because I have cabinets in the wrong place. The Production Office Representative Mike Daniels, is stonewalling me. The designer, Andrea White, is stonewalling me. It is Sept 21. and have not heard from either of them since Sept 6. The Store Manager, Brent McCrimmon, would not return my call. I called the Greensboro office one day to speak to Mike Daniels supervisor Robert Brason. I told him my issues. He said he would fix it. Heard from No one. Called him back and he had taken another job with the company. Who says Lowe's doesn't have a sense of humor. Worst experience ever. The absolute worst store in existence. The place is severely understaffed, but when you do find an employee there is usually a group of 3 to 4 of them trying to stay out of sight. Terrible customer service, employees actually run the other way when it looks like you want to ask them a question, and when you finally corner one to ask them for help it becomes obvious that they have very limited knowledge of any products and/or their associated applications. They will tell you what they think you want to hear, in order to make a sale. They are quick to inform the customer that they don't make commissions on their sales, and the only people at the store who may get a bonus are management so I should ask them for help. Good luck getting a good product as well, the cheap Chinese made junk they sell will tear up within a year. read more
