I have been going to this lowes for the past few weeks and I have not had one problem. In fact everyone has been wonderful. Customer service has not given me one problem with any exchanges I have needed to make, there have been some items where they pre warn me that I will not be able to exchange in the future. Which I appreciate. Marissa in the paint dept has been awesome! She's truly knows what she is talking about and listens to what we are looking for. Never, ever , hire their installation!!! Went thru hell , with them ! Installed window, within 2 months had to call, oh, we don't work with that co., anymore.had you contact the co., now out of Calif. Took forever. Next 2 rookies, installed patio, & doggy door, they were back 3 , 4 times, to repair, front entry door, was damaged, I used to shop there , a lot , will not ever, again!!! Went to a Lowes off 75th Ave & Thunderbird to get a window pane cut. Machine down and they directed me to drive to 59th and Northern store. Drove over to this store. Had them call for assistance multiple times, in which no one ever came. This seems to be a trend for this store. I stopped coming to this store a year ago because if this same issue. People walking around and no one willing to offer assistance. I was going to purchase a $50 filter for my fridge also. I just left it at the customer service desk and walked out the store. I walked in there to get a cordless drill...what I received was embarrassment. I was approached by an associate that helped me get what I need, then refused to let me walk to the cash register unaccompanied by him. He led me a long line then wouldn't even allow me to hold onto the cordless drill until I was being checked out...By that time, someone in line was wondering if I had been caught stealing. Customer service is just terrible. I went looking for a refrigerator, there was one person working in the appliance area. One of them had the audacity to rolled his eyes while talking with a customer on the phone and when I asked about a certain refrigerator he rolled his eyes and didn't seem like he wanted to help and was constantly looking at his watch. As workers with red vest I'm pretty sure that's your job to help a customer and show them the right refrigerator if you don't like that, than maybe you should change your line of work. He was just disrespectful and even left didn't help us at all. I found another worker he was exactly the same as the first guy didn't even bother to help and in the end walked away to a different department. Cart area is alway empty and the workers in the front area are always talking amongst each other instead of helping customers. Ridiculous! read more

1/18/23 1pm just left my 5th store today lowes on northern in glendale az. i had been to 2 other lowes stores today & 2 home depots. i needed 1 4x8 sheet of mdf cut twice lengthwise. supe josh got some help loading the 4x8 & carted it over to be cut. 20 something nick came over to do the cutting. told him twice the 2 measurements i needed & lengthwise. he got them crossed so i repeated one (1) of them & said lengthwise while my arm was going left to right/horizontal. he cuts it width wise(short side). what made it worse was as i was walking away, he wasnt smart enough to keep his mouth shut & was back talking me while he followed me. how fkn stupid is that? i turned to him & told him not to, he kept up & i said shut up, then i went to the cust svc counter & told the girl to tell josh his boy nick cut it the wrong way plus he was back talking me. who tf is he to do that? read more

Customer service is DEAD!! This whole company has, not only an internal communication problem, but also, no accord for customer service. Was told by one location to go to original location for my return. Ridiculous!!. Avoid any 'special order' thru this company even though the items r plastered all over their web site. I had an online order that I was picking up and I was on hold for almost 10 minutes and even when I got the order finally, they were missing an item. A common item that they said they were out of. I was there a total of 15 minutes in that parking lot. I've been to better Lowe's. read more

I was pretty disappointed that I bought paint and was told it was on sale by the guy in the paint department and when I got to the register I didn't ring up on sale they argued with me and made me wait forever for a manager who then tried to make me feel bad for asking for the money off That the employee had told me about which was the reason why I purchase that paint it was just a very frustrating experience I did try to email customer service and never got a response read more

This review is for the store on N. Cave Creek, serving CC and Carefree quite easily. What is my word count? Let's leave it with I could pen a book based on our great experiences with the N. store. We've lived in two homes in Cave Creek in a short time, yet purchased a different one to update "severely" with fresh ideas and colors. Each time we roll through we are quickly helped, directed, and we value their expertise. I'm a plant addict and their nursery is nice, inasmuch as some of the plants are just not delivered to the Valley until mid-summer, which is not their choice, it's what they receive. We've purchased appliances, blinds, lights and tiny paint brushes and I'm sure we'll be back for more. One employee, "Chris" in the appliance area, has put more into his customer service than is necessary, his mantra must be -- let every day be effective for my store and assisting customers and it shows. I'm comfortable asking him anything. Love Home Depot and Lowe's, but the convenience and amount of time we've spent in this particular store, we've got their rhythm. This Lowe's deserves a better ratings due to their customer service especially having employees name Edgar & Zach! I'm not too handy being at this store as I struggle every time finding what I need but I just wanted to look for it myself rather than bother an employee but Edgar walked towards me and offered his service. What made it more pleasant was he found it within seconds even after not knowing where to look first. And my checkout was nice and fast with our cashier Zach just having an amazing personality. You can tell they both loved working there and offering excellent service! Thank you for making my difficult errand into a positive one. I am a loyal shopper at this Lowe's since it opened. It and the nearby Home Depot are equal distance from my home. I have done remodeled the laundry room, bathroom, and repaired after a flood. Even when there was a problem the customer service has always come through. The delivery guys have been great. Getting appliances in and set up. When we had the laundry room remodel all done and they delivered my LG washer and dryer with the stack setup. It was where my wanted it. They were in their truck, when she changed her mind. They cam back in a moved the full sized stack of the washer and dryer. Just got our new blinds and waiting for intall on Friday. read more

This has been my go to Home Improvement store for over 5 tears now. This location always pride itself in excellent customer service. Now though it seems as they don't care. Last 4 times they been all negative. One of the experiences was while Waiting for assistance to have some bring down an item from a top shelf,literally waited 20 minutes before someone came(i stayed because i needed the item). Most recent and probably last time i shop with Lowes was a few weeks ago when we ordered cabinets and got assistance from Ron. That guy is a prune. He is rude, impatient and no urge to help, yet he wears all these pins about being a teacher for other and #1 customer service... fast forward 3 weeks from ordering, and we were missing one cabinet which just got delivered today after waiting all afternoon last Saturday for it and never got delivered. And today we find out that most important cabinet(corner top cabinet) which hoes up first is broken, so kitchen installation is further delayed. Just bad experience after bad experience. Do not purchase anything that requires delivery from this place, ever. I purchased a washer and dryer from here. It was supposed to be delivered Sunday. I spoke with customer service and they said it would be rushed this morning. It is now Monday, 4pm and no washer or dryer. I tried to simply track my order through telephone over TWELVE times. I was hung up on repeatedly. This was due to the fact of being transferred to unattended phone lines. I called about ten minutes ago to find out their reliable staff somehow managed to dent in a part of my dryer. I HAD TO CALL TO FIND THIS OUT. No one contacted me. I cancelled my entire order that was over two thousand dollars. This place is terrible. I am completely disgusted with their lack of effort and professionalism. read more

Always so friendly and helpful. I never have to look for someone to help me, they come to me. Bathrooms always clean which are important for families with children. I have never had to wait in line for a cash register, they are waiting for me. Love this store. read more

I'm a driver I don't come here often but if your Recieving hours say 7-4 be here those hours.. Laura this is an official complaint in your receiving department you're hours clearly state 7-4 you are employed until 4 o'clock are you not a Lowes employee? if the hours have changed than change them outside. You don't drive trucks to know how difficult it is to be at your appointment on time. That's why we have window deliveries per our appointment. It's Memorial Day and we have been waiting since 9am for our freezer to be delivered. The store did not call to tell us when delivery would be made (as they promised they would) ...so we had to reach out to Corporate Dispatch. We arranged our day to be here between 9a and noon- when they said. At 10 AM, we received a call from the driver saying it would be delivered between 11 and 1 - even later than the first call. Nobody showed up by 1 PM. So, we called after 1 PM and they said they are running late and would be here "no later than 2:30". It's 3 PM and they are still not here and the driver is not answering his phone. So much for a relaxing, fun-filled Memorial Day. We are on house arrest and cannot get a straight answer from anyone. The store Manager, Aaron, is of NO help, whatsoever and blames Corporate. Bad, bad, bad customer service. Done with Lowes. read more

I would have given them 1 star due to the gardening center cashier today Older lady white/gray short hair!! Very authorative and defensive even when just explaining something that I needed. I was leaving upset encountered 'Willy' outside w a nice smile, helped me get a flat bed load some soil bags and then went on my own to get all the other supplies that I needed. Victor at gardening center helped me get the Gypsum that I was looking for my garden he is very knowledgeable!!! At the end decided to check out of the main cashiers instead of gardening center, 'Kandy'helped me out and they even offered help to load my car, Again 'willy' was outside, helped me took the flat bed to my cart and loaded my bags. We bought a refrigerator and had it delivered. When they hooked up the line to the icemaker it was leaking at the wall valve, which we didn't discover until the water had leaked through the floor, tile, closet behind the wall and up through the floor in the living room, causing almost $18,500 in damages. All I wanted from Lowes was my deductible and the cost of the plumber, who discovered where the leak was coming from. The manager I spoke to was very rude and condescending and refused to accept responsibility. Apparently, it's just a "coincidence" that the valve leaked right after her guys installed the line. She refused to even file a claim. I have spent a lot of money at Lowes in the past year since we bought our house nearby. No more. Not one cent more. I will never recommend Lowes to anyone for anything. read more

Garden area is stocked better than Home Depot. Better care of plants it appears. Sometimes you can find a knowledgeable person to advise on the plants. Employees greet you. And at times there is someone to help haul the big bags into your car trunk. Like today when they asked if I needed assistance an older employee with gray hair readily showed up. He had to wrestle the 3 bags of mulch off of a big stack about 20 foot high. Meanwhile two young men employees walked on by, chatting. No offer of help to their fellow worker. read more

The worst customer service ever. We bought a washer and dryer there, heard nothing for two weeks, then randomly got a phone call saying they would deliver around noon that day. Thanks for the heads up!? I was at work and noon was about twenty minutes away, so obviously couldn't just leave my job in the middle of the day. I asked for them to come the next day (saturday), they gave me a four hour time window telling us we would get a call between 8-12. They randomly showed up around 1:45, this is after I called the store at noon to check on where they were. We waited around and wasted our entire Saturday. When they arrived and did the install the dryer wouldn't turn on. They said it was our breaker. We had an electrician come out and basically pain him to tell us nothing was wrong and they must have hooked the dryer up incorrectly. Called them back to get someone out, they were supposed to come yesterday and canceled on us, and no showed on us today. We paid a ridiculous amount of money to have a washer and dryer just sitting in our house. They have beyond wasted our time. This is literally only the tip of the iceberg of our experience and doesn't even cover the times we have called and not gotten called back and the fact that when you do call they answer the phone as if it's their house phone. Seriously annoyed and will never buy anything from lowes again. read more

I bought a Kobalt battery operated leaf blower and it only has a 10 minute run time on a full charge. I attempted to rate it as poor and point out the limited run time and Lowes refused to post it. The only reason I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 was because they didn't have the BBQ I wanted in a box and all they one's they had (6) were assembled. This standardization doesn't help those of us that don't have a truck. However, 2 employees, I didn't catch his or her name,after a long day due to a early mandatory meeting, showed me the best customer service I had gotten in the longest time; and it was already late in the afternoon this last Sunday. To ensure the sale (I had no other way to haul it), they came out and spent about 1/2 hour figuring out how to dismantle the stubborn BBQ so that it would fit into my Accord. They helped me out smiling and joking like old friends would. I had never gone to a Lowe's before; it's always been Home Depot of (shudder) Walmart. From now on, I plan on only going to THIS Lowe's for my home improvement needs. read more
