    Lowe's intentionally sold me an open-box lawn mower for over $100 more than the price of the same model brand new in an unopened box. After I left the store, I checked Lowe's website and discovered the same mower was listed for much less. I went back to speak with the employee who sold it to me. First, he offered to lower the price to $425. Then, after I showed him the website price of $409 for the same model, he still tried to pressure me into accepting the open-box item at that price, which I refused. It was obvious he was unhappy after I discovered he had tried to sell me an open-box item at a much higher price than a brand-new one. He did not even want to handle the return himself and instead told me to wait in the return line. I waited, and when it was finally my turn, the customer service lady refused to process the refund and said a store manager had to approve it. The manager turned out to be the same employee who sold me the item. He conveniently disappeared and could not be found, leaving me standing there waiting and feeling embarrassed. The customer service lady's attitude was also aggressive and disrespectful. I stayed calm and patient the entire time and tried to explain the situation, but she did not want to hear anything I said. After being mistreated for so long, I said "jeez" out of frustration. She immediately mocked me by sarcastically repeating, "Yeah, jeez." When I responded that customers should not be treated with that level of disrespect, another female employee jumped in and yelled at me, saying, "Justin approved the refund," as if that excused everything that happened. I did not even know who Justin was, although I believe he was the same employee who had attempted to sell me the overpriced open-box mower. This was a very unprofessional and disrespectful experience. I do not expect to be misled into buying an overpriced open-box item, then treated rudely and made to wait unnecessarily just to get my money back.     This location is in dire need of a new GM, their customer service is getting worst by the day. You can barely find someone when u need them. The only saving grace is that the store is usually well stocked, but if u need help good luck!!!

    Lowes a local store with most things one needs or shops for. Some terrific people who work there to name but a few, Sophia ,G , Liz in the garden center. In the Pro section there are many caring people too. John , Jill, Barbara and many others. As Lowes is a dog friendly store , these people are so caring and my dog is so happy to visit. The pro card app I've had some glitches and issues with but I still use it when I shop. They have carpet and fake grass in the back behind isle 40. A big machine cuts it to your amount ( like a giant paper cutter) There also is a Back Isle with a big yellow sign saying UP TO 75 % off. The fertilizer I saw was 12.98 ( see pix) very close to the prices I saw on the garden center. Yet upon Customer Services rep checking via phone with manager that was the price for a 5 lb bag. While They are good about returns, having a receipt helps. I. Left the fertilizer as the price seemed to me to be regular price, not discounted. So maybe that brand is the Gold version and the price was correct. I felt items were bait and switch and not really sale prices and this didn't please me. To the many other employees that I didn't name in this review, I thank you.

    I am in and out of big box stores all day to order and pick up materials for my residential Roofing business. Generally, dealing with associates of these stores leaves something lacking, however Paul in the pro section is worth mentioning. He is always available for questions and ready to lend a hand, knows the products he's selling and even gives a call afterwards to confirm the products are pulled and ready to be picked up. It's very refreshing that a store associate actually follows through with something they say verbally. Doing this for 17 years I know he is an asset to your organization and I have pretty much moved fully from HD to Lowes since they have gotten more contractor friendly.

    I was in the need of some roofing supplies. Instead of going to Home Depot which is 1 mile from my house I decided to go to Lowe's which is about 10 miles away. Big huge store with tons of parking. The thing I like the most about Lowe's is that an associate always finds you and asks if you need help before you go looking for them. In Home Depot good luck finding any one at any time to help. I was in the building supplies area and an associate came over and asked if I needed any help and proceeded to tell me the differences between the different products. Lowe's has a huge selection of just about everything you could need for your home and more. They carry virtually all the same sort of products as Home Depot. I had a great experience and would definitely go back again and again.

    Lowes Hicksville ny has the best employees always friendly and helpful. I came in to get 1 item a walked out with a wagon full.
