The 2nd delivery w as excellent! Guillermo and Paulo showed up with our replacement refrigerator. These two are a well oiled machine. It was looking dicey to fit the fridge through the door so Guillermo took the door off it's hinges! While he was doing that, Paulo said "my man get um". Such confidence. read more

Good overall selection on fixer upper supplies but not so much in stock for the blinds I am looking for. Friendly Customer Service by "RED" who also guided me to where I needed to go in this vast layout of isles for miles it seems. A.I. helpful during self check out with Lowe's APP. 10% Military Discount also a plus. Glad to still have humans around to smile, ask questions with heart felt answers. I will be back but their competition is giving them a run for my money. Shopping the clearance items for my shelving project did give me a great value in cost savings today. I made a purchase there of several items little over 12k. When I went to pick up, some items were cancelled for no reason orher than the clerks didn't want to pick up! I had to drive there & re-order, but found out later they over charged $500 for 1 item, another 200 more for another.. I tried calling (800)528-9370 several times; each time over 20 min on IGNORE.. their AI answering is a serious waste of time; (just prompts you to go online WOW!) I tried to contact my rep there, again their system doesn't forward to extensions! I tried asking for store manager, same crap! On hold for SIXTH time today! When they do make the mistake & answer, you hear hello, hello, then they hang up or put the phone back on hold right when I'm still speaking to them: they're either totally careless, or haven't realized yet in spite of all the bad reports that THEIR phone is MALFUNCTIONING! BTW, I have mentioned that to them personally several times.. Deaf ears! This is beyond UNBELIEVABLE! There are some genuinely sweet associates we've met there, but it seems like the management is oblivious to daily matters & complaints. Do you use curbside pick up? For the convenience of not having to enter the store?Maybe so you're not tempted to buy more than you need? Mmhhmmmmm, me too! I placed an order for "small kine tingz" at Lowe's in Iwilei. Nothing major. Just a few packs of magnetic tape for a project I'm working on. It was a pretty decent price. I went to pick up at an off peak time since I know they can get pretty busy. I followed their procedure as stated on their app and the signage in the designated parking stalls. I waited... and waited... then, walked inside! Followed the in store procedures... and waited... and waited... TBH I could've just walked inside, grabbed what I needed, paid and left faster than utilizing the p/u feature. I don't think I'll be using it again for this location. Thinking outside the box... As I was searching for a solution at work since our storage unit was missing a lock and after much searching and was just blown by the prices of the locks besides being limited availability for the type we were searching for which was easy to do so online not just for availability but types and price comparison as well. I decided to give Lowe's a visit and as I went to where the locks are was very disappointed that there wasn't anything that was worth investing in as I needed something just to simply secure, but as I was leaving noticed in the same aisle various chains...hmmm...with a minimum of a 12" I decided on a simple chain which was $1.28 per foot. With the help of a staff the chain was cut to size and at less than $2 I got it literally secured ;) Thank you! read more

Not sure what it is about this location, but they never answer the phone, like never. Called multiple times on different days. Although when I went in the other day, when I was in the area, the lady at the help desk was helpful. Never got her name, but she made a note, and did tell me to call back in a few days regarding what she was trying to help me with. I still give this place 5 stars. We've been renovating an old 1950's house off and on since 2013 and Lowe's has consistently come thru for us. The latest solid they did us was when Best Buy (a-hem) sold us an oven on Black Friday and then delivered 2 broken ovens and I still had no oven from them by the first week of January, I said enough is enough, give me a refund and I'm going to get it from Lowe's. I had a working oven delivered the very next day from Lowe's! Their delivery team were professional and super careful. We have a lot of stairs and tight spaces in our tiny house and all was smooth. They even took our old oven down to the garage for free! I'm team Lowe's and will continue to be. read more

I needed a flagpole for a flag for an indoor event, found a flagpole, but it was too short and didn't come with a stand. I was trying to figure out a solution when Ceasar immediately came up with a creative idea to build a flagpole stand using PVC pipes and joints with all in white color at super reasonable value. - Poor customer service, unhelpful staff I only go to Lowe's when I absolutely have to, and experiences like today remind me why. Every time I ask for help, I'm told the associate for that department is on lunch, sick, or unavailable. There's rarely a smile, and even less effort. Today I asked for help locating a product. I could clearly see the item on the associate's handheld device, but he seemed unfamiliar with what I was even looking for. When I asked where it was located, he oddly said "Israel," which made no sense at all. He then said he was checking whether the product actually does what I said it cleans, instead of helping me find it. He eventually guessed it might be on Aisle 11. I went there myself and found it immediately. As I walked away, I saw him ask a coworker to help him look for the same item -- after I had already found it on my own. The associate's name was Marc. This wasn't helpful service, just wasted time. If Lowe's wants customers to keep coming back, basic product knowledge, accuracy, and a willingness to actually assist would go a long way. read more

This review is for their in-store Kids Workshop. I made a reservation for the 10:00 am build. I didn't know where to go so I asked. They sent us to lumber. There was no one in lumber. Finally someone was like, oh it's at the front. I. WAS. JUST. THERE. The check in process took long because their system couldn't pull up who made a reservation and who didn't. On top of that, there was no area for the kids to build the project. They just handed us the kit and expected us to make it at home with our kids. Ummm... what if I don't have the right tools at home? Home Depot's Kids Workshop is 100% better. They are ready for you, they give you the space and tools to build. They have a paint section where you can paint and on top of that, they had a small play area set up for the kids! read more

Store calls to say they CAN'T FIND THE ITEM. Next delivery date is 03/05/25!! Let the sales associate know this is unacceptable. Asked to speak with a manger and was told they weren't available.The appliance was paid for on 01/21/25! The company sells items that aren't in their possession. The company promises a delivery date when there is NO ITEM TO DELIVER. Lost time, lost a day of work, lost respect for this company! 02/14/25- Went to Lowe's to obtain a complete refund. The clerk never once asked why or if there was a problem. That's because they do this to consumers all the time. They will gladly take your money for an item they don't even have, then string you along with lies. 02/14/25- Went to Ross Appliances today. We purchased a washer & dryer from them in the past that lasted over 5 years. It's refurbished, but it has a warranty and they actually have the item that they are selling us! I'm not surprised that they have such a horrible rating. Tried to get help with some very heavy items at least 50+ pounds, which were stacked high up on the rack. After sales associate Claire tried numerous times (at least 4) to get help, no one came so I went and found a cart and loaded 2 bales by myself. Cart hit my leg, which I hope is not bruised! Paid for items then had to figure out how to get them in my car. Lucky I saw one of your staff, Levi, and yelled out to get his attention and he came over to help. I'm honestly not sure what's going on with this store. Are they still operating normally in Hawaii? I called the store 6-7 times regarding a delivery and let the phone ring for 5-10 minutes each time between the associate line and delivery team with no answer. Earlier today the third-party delivery company called saying they were on the way, then texted that they had arrived. However, no one called to be buzzed up and no one called my phone again, so the delivery never actually happened. Now they saying no one was home, when I was home. I called the driver back 10 times and he never answered once, left VM..nothing While typing this review I made call number 8, and it rang for about 8 minutes before someone finally answered. She shared they have no way to communicate or get communication from J&S Express. Who did not answer any return calls. This store clearly needs better customer service coverage and apps, and coordination with their delivery partners. I'm not trying to complain for the sake of complaining, but this kind of breakdown shouldn't happen with something as basic as a delivery feom a national company. Now im being told the store canceled my order, these guys are a mess. Pro check out has a salty, wahine with a bad attitude. Checking out in the Ewa end by the lumber (pro checkout) is slow and arduous because when this wahine is there sitting on her stool, taking her sweet time, talking story or on her phone scrolling with a customer, the line gets long and guys are getting impatient to get out of there. All was finally resolved on Xmas Eve by the 3rd party that was hired to handle the screw ups by the local Mint Trucking Company and their awful Mack or Mac scheduler/dispatcher here in Honolulu. I was in for a new make over so I decided to check out Home Depot and Lowe's. Lowe's is located in town 411 Pacific st . Lots of parking . Amazing selection and friendly staff. Not to mention GREAT price especially during this holidays. I'm so pleased with my sales man (Soma leio) that was helping me pick out the tile floors. He was kind, patience, very helpful and I have to say number 1 customer service. If I can give him 10 stars I would. He even answer his phone after hour every time I'm in need of help! One time I was there waiting for him in a corner because he was helping someone else . I seen him dashing from 1 customer to another non stop and so I decided to text him to help me when he's done. The Lowe's garden section is UNREAL All of the plants you could want- perfect for starting my vegetable garden. I bought zucchini, cilantro, mint, Okinawa sweet potato, arugula, and pepper plants. An amazing sale section too- I got a Nepenthes (carnivorous pitcher plant) for less than $5. All the staff was extremely helpful too- kind and willing to help me find what I'm looking for. I've shopped at Lowe's for many years, spending thousands of dollars on appliances, building supplies, et al. However, that may change based upon my last two experiences with mail order. I will limit this review to my last order ... On March 1 (Saturday evening), I placed an order for two Moen towel bars and two Moen hooks as my existing units were corroded from the salt air endemic with living 200 yards from the ocean. Surprisingly, I received a text stating that my order would be arriving on March 2 (Sunday). Sounds great, except I used my work address and my building is closed on the weekend. I figured I'd get text later stating that my order couldn't be delivered. I was surprised to receive a text stating that my order had been delivered. What? Where? I asked a friend who has a store across the street from my office to check the front and side doors. Nothing. I then noticed that the delivery person took a picture of my order. I could not figure out where this was; there were four boxes sitting on carpet outside a door. I asked my friend and she said "That's my building!" I asked her to check with her building's security ... Sure enough, they let a delivery person into the building. She found my order sitting on the 7th floor. How did the delivery person mix up "45 N King St, 7th floor" with "60 N Nimitz Hwy, 7th floor"? It's unfathomable. Lowe's sent a text asking for feedback. The limitations of their system prevented me from being as detailed as I would have liked but I tried to get my point across. Did I receive a reply or acknowledgement from them? No, I did not! I purchased 165499 basic installation for a Moen kitchen sink faucet from Lowes on Richmond Hwy in Alexandria VA. It was $189. I asked the person at Lowes: after they install the faucet I will be able to run the water? Correct? The Lowes rep replied yes. I had explained that the water was off b/c I had a new sink and when they came to remove the old sink they turned off the water. The Lowes rep replied yes; they will install the kitchen sink faucet that I purchased from Lowes and I will be able to use the faucet to run the water. NO NO NO. When they came to do the installation I was told they are installers NOT plumbers. I need to hire a plumber to hook up the water. The name of the company doing the install is Mega Plumbing. Lowes and Mega Plumbing IMO misrepresented what I was getting for $189. For $189 they simply installed the faucet into the sink. I could have done that. I did not need anyone to do that for me. The instructions came w the faucet. It took the installers less than 15 minutes to install the faucet. Lowes perpetrated a HUGE rip off and misrepresentation. I called Mega Plumbing w the installers still at my home and Mega plumbing and the installers said NO they are not plumbers, they are installers. I asked: Mega Plumbing are not plumbers? and the rep on the phone said yes, we are plumbers but the work we do for Lowes is only installation. Mega Plumbing does not do any plumbing for Lowes. Well if that is not misrepresentation IDK what is. Separately, Mega Plumbers do not come during the time they are scheduled to come. Two times they came early and I was not home and had to reschedule. The third time they were scheduled to come btw noon and 3 PM. they were banging on my door at 10 AM. I let them in; but said next time you needed to sit in your car/truck and wait till noon to come to my place. Terrible service from Lowes and Mega Plumbing. I will NEVER spend one red cent at Lowes till the day I die. And I will not use Mega Plumbing. I have not used Amazon for 3+ years. I cancelled Disney and will never spend one red cent w them or w Paramont. I will go without. It truly is very sad state of affairs. Things worked sooooooooo much better when small businesses were around. I have phoned three small business plumbing companies for estimates. We ordered a stove from them about a year ago. An attempted delivery was turned around by the delivery team because they found the appliance damaged. After a few months of delay, and many unreturned messages left for the responsible manager, they cancelled the order. Not only that, they charged me for the delivery! When I walked in and found the item I was looking for, it was locked in one of the cages. Just then one of the workers was passing the aisle in a forklift and I asked how I could get help. To my surprise, Glenn who works in Garden stopped the lift and got out to explain the features of the tool. He was friendly, humorous and super helpful. Horrendous service. My mother went in to have a few keys copied. After handing him two keys to be copied, the attendant, Marc, returned only one key with its copy. When she inquired about the second key, he maintained that she had only handed him one key. He spoke to her in a patronizing fashion, as if she was crazy or confused. When she insisted that she had handed him a second key, he even offered to check security footage--naturally, there wasn't any for that part of the store. He continued to gaslight her into thinking that she only gave him one key. Eventually, my mother found the second key at his work station, set down on a shelf on the attendant's side of the kiosk, not the customer side. It was easily identified because she had marked all of the keys uniformly before bringing them in. Even after being confronted with the truth, Marc refused to apologize or take responsibility for his oversight. The customer service desk did little but pay lip service. Had my mother actually been someone easily confused, she might've walked away thinking that she had made a mistake, when it was actually Marc's fault. It is ridiculous that Lowe's would employ someone so disrespectful and unapologetic. read more

Sunny. A cashier young man named Sunny who works in the garden center. I've had three encounters with him. Literally the worst experience I've ever imagined. I'm not making this up. The first time no words from him. No hello. goodbye. Kiss my butt. Nothing. I tried to talk and he only uttered a single word. The second time the same experience. The third time which was yesterday I went there. And I tested it. He scanned my items without uttering a word. He literally pulled his phone out and started watching a YouTube video while I was inserting my credit card. He did not even make eye contact with me. He handed me with the receipt and sat down. Literally this is play-by-play how it went. Please coach this person or get him out of there. It's absolutely insane. I went to Home Depot the same day and they were having an afternoon team meeting. I walked around the area. They're having it on the floor. They spoke about improving their email surveys as they were high but they could be even better. They talked to a customer service. I don't think Lowes even has a leader. They certainly don't have cashiers with competence. This kid has long brown hair. Emo. You recognize them. Anyone else has this experience? read more

Their next day delivery service only delivered 1 out of 8 items. Opened a case with customer service online. They said store would call, but got no call. Tried calling then myself, and like others, constant ringing, no answer. I finally get through to them late at night and they hang up on me. If the other guys had the product I would be there. But for anything else home improvement from now on it wont be from Lowes. This is ridiculous that I have to chase down my product because of their mistake. The people are great, but they are slowly being replaced with self serve. I placed an order for $438.00 but was unable to pick it up. They don't send a QR code. I was unable to get the Lowes APP updated while at the counter or for 30 minutes in the parking lot. The people have helped me in the past but the system is not setup for that. It does not work. I refuse to self scan my items anywhere. I don't want the liability. If they miss scanning an item, no big deal. If I miss a scan, that is shoplifting. I went to Amazon and the Items I wanted will be at my house in two days. I am having my screened in porch enclosed with a sliding door and with 6 windows. I am shocked at my experience with this location. We spend so much money here purchasing appliances and the last experience I had we went to go pick up one of two stoves that we purchased. When we arrived the stove was on a lift to safely, put it into our truck, but when the associate tried to move it to our truck, the machine died so he then asked us to move the truck towards the machine which we did, but the machine wasn't lifted high enough for it to be even with the back of the truck bed the associate still tried to lift it onto the truck struggling so my boyfriend and cousin who are kind enough, tried to help move it to avoid breaking the stove and or damaging our truck. When my boyfriend went to help he sliced his finger really bad this wouldn't have happened if the machine was charged and able to rise up to the correct height of my truck bed. I reached out two times to customer service and no one has contacted me back the first time they didn't even push my ticket to the correct department. They just closed it out if I didn't contact them again it would've just sat there unseen as of today I am still waiting for some sort of response from them. read more
