Initially, went to the location that is across the Palama market. Found out that is not the location I needed to go for supplies, the employee referred me to another location. The supply location was in the other side of the Palama canal. GPS the location. My mom and I went here last Saturday because she needed to replace a broke part from the kitchen sink. She brought the part with her to show and ask someone if they sell that part. When she asked one of the workers he was extremely rude and condescending. It was as if we was annoyed with our questions. When we showed him the part he goes "well what brand of sink do you have?" Definitely took a long time to get to the gallery. To see it is closed, and I had to make my way to this location. Only to be turned away after roughly 10 seconds of help. Plumbers and home supply stores recommended this location. They didn't try very hard to help me out, only telling what I had to bring like a picture of the cartidge (which I said isn't easy, since I am a renter and the unit is rather old.) No other helpful suggestions or options, like trying. It was a very "put their foot down" answer, with a "I can't help you" attitude, like I was serving them or visiting the DMV, or a customer trying to return used good. I thought I broke the handle off from our kitchen faucet so a friend of mine who is a plumber advised me to go to Ferguson Plumbing in Waipahu to get the replacement parts. Upon entering the store I had no idea what I would need so I approached the counter and Isa asked me if I needed help. I showed him my faucet handle and a video plus 2 still shots of the faucet and told him what happened. He looked at the photos and told me I did not break the faucet but the screw that holds it on was loose. He pried off the cover that hid the screw and showed me that the screw takes a 1/8 inch Allen wrench. He explained what I needed to do to not only reattach the handle but to also replace the inside part that was leaking. His instructions were so thorough and he also included the cautions and possible problems I might encounter as in a possible frozen cap covering the housing and making sure the correct Allen wrench was used because it was possible to strip the screw and that would require changing the handle too. Because of his excellent instructions, I was able to go home and replace the faucet innards and the faucet handle. There is no leaking now and the task took less than 5 minutes to complete! Thank you, Isa! Your fine customer service and willingness to teach a customer how to do a task on their own is greatly appreciated. You saved me a lot of money because I didn't have to call a plumber and also gave me enough confidence to be able to complete this task in the future should it be needed. read more

Went there today as recommended by my Plummer for some piping. The place is quite confusing if it's open or if I needed an appointment. As I walked in I wasn't greeted and left to figure out if I can in face shop on my own or if I need to ask someone for what I need. After discovering the shelves are empty I sent to a very grumpy older male hiding behind his covid shower curtain. I tried to speak to him and he pointed that I must stand over in front of the shower curtain. Again I just wanted to ask if he could assist me and he pointed for me to move over two feet to the left. I did and said can you help me locate a part. He said no but he can look it up. I said I don't know exactly what I need and I want him to help me with the pipes. He said again "what do you want to buy? Just tell me" I tried to describe what I needed but he couldn't hear me because of the covid barrier. I just said forget it. You don't want to help me and I left. I ended up at Home Depot where they had everything in stock on the shelves and even associates to help me locate what I want. You never know how important a person or business can be until you need something. We have these special type of pipes in our townhouse. The shut off thingy is in our master bedroom and requires a special key. The key is made of plastic and broke. I checked Ebay but they didn't have it. It was the wrong size and thickness. This place sucks. I need a specific part for my sink... I roam to the area it should be and I cant find it so, since nobody asks if I need help, i ask one of the MANY available associates. As I was asking him to assist, someone called his cell phone. He answered it as we were starting to walk to search for the product. Let me tell you.. I was so upset. This guy is a complete clown. He was on a personal phone call the entire time. I felt like my first experience here was a waste of time. I will never go back EVER! This place is pretty hard to find because it's located in a crowded industrial area where cars are parked on both sides of the road. The store entrance is also located on the backside of the building away from the road. I have been here multiple times and still have a hard time finding here. The good thing about here is they always have what I need to fix my stuff such as toilet and delta bath fixtures. Bad thing is their customer service is pretty bad. The guy lied to me last time and ending up spending more money then I needed. If customer service was like city mill with same products this would be an awesome store. For now, I only go here when I absolutely need to come here and not by choice. read more

If Home Depot aint got it, this place most likely will. The only drawback is the long wait and nothing has a price on it. Yay! Sticker shock and burning daylight! Your lucky if you find some worker walking the isle to ask where stuff is. You don't want to be rude and just walk up to the counter and ask someone while their busy with a customer and theres a line but sometimes, especially here, you have to or you'll wait in line for directions to where your stuff is then wait in line again to pay for it. The longest wait for me was 20 minutes tops. Bring your phone on a full charge to keep you company or watch tv standing up. Two lines to stand in. One is for contractors (you'll get funny looks if your in shorts, teeshirt and slippers in this line like I did) The other is for homeowners or the regular Joe Shmo. This is where I should've been. Know your place. There is a silver lining though. If you can describe it, they'll know what you need. Some will point you in the direction where it is, a few will go out of there way and get it for you. Thats what I look for in good customer service. Its really a hit and miss here. read more

I stopped in to get a replacement part for my toilet. After visiting Lowes (who sent me to Home Depot) and Home Depot (who sent me to Ferguson) I FINALLY found the Kohler fill valve/float that matched my toilet. The customer service rep who helped me was very knowledgeable about the product and told me they had updated the design. He also took the time to tell me about the braided stainless steel line that was included (although it didn't fit my water valve). All in all, I would definitely return for future parts. Total local feel and definitely populated by contractors, but very useful for regular folks like me. Thanks for the great service! read more

Terrible customer service. Ignored for 20 minutes standing in line before surly young fellow ( no name tags here--you can guess why) beckoned me to the register to 'help.' We had bought an expensive faucet from the showroom less than a year ago which has started to leak and I came trying to replace the hose. No record of the purchase in their database. The clerk finally went to the back to find a possible fit. He couldn't have cared less. Never again will I buy anything from these characters or their showroom.
