I had such an amazing experience at Lowe's, I had to leave a review. The paint associate KUNTI , who helped me truly went above and beyond. From the moment I walked in, she was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping me get exactly what I needed. I came in unsure about colors and finishes, but she broke everything down in a way that made it easy to understand. She didn't rush me, gave honest recommendations, and made sure I felt confident in my choice before I left. You can tell she actually care about their work and the customers they help. Because of her , my project turned out better than I expected. Great customer service like this is hard to find these days. Lowe's is lucky to have someone like that on their team! This review is for the installation I paid for, not the appliance. I ordered a dishwasher and paid for installation and installation kit. The dishwasher was installed a few days later. My handyman took the bottom cover plate off the day after the installation had been done to check everything for me, and discovered that wires were left hanging and unsecured. They were also not covered by a metal plate, which is what is supposed to be put over them to help protect them.This was a safety hazard, because if water leaked and hit the wires they could spark; and if the breaker switch did not shut off this could start a fire. I called Lowe's and sent a pic and was told someone would come back within 3 days to fix everything since it was not done properly and was unsafe to use. This did not happen; after two more calls and 45 minutes of being put on hold I finally got an appointment a week later. When the installer showed up he had not been told why he was returning, or told that he would need a metal cover plate. He had not been shown the picture I had emailed to Lowes (attached here). All his order said was "return for service follow-up." Fortunately he had a metal plate in his van and was able to remedy the situation and make it safe to use. I will never pay Lowe's for an installation again. I understand they subcontract installations out to another company...but clearly this is not a good relationship or one that is beneficial to customers like me! I had my kitchen renovated by the lowes on 440 in Jersey city. The cabinets were installed the first week of June. Had several severe issues with the installation. They installed 18 inch cabinets in a 16 inch opening. They left with an exposed cabinet frame by the microwave. The installer left that day without an explanation. I had to follow up with the installer and Lowes. There was a lot of back-and-forth on who to blame. Lowes blamed the installer measurements, the installer blamed the Lowes ordering team. It took one month to get the exposed cabinet frame fixed. It's the middle of August and still waiting for my cabinet overhang issue to be addressed. Lowes tried to deliver 2 broken ovens and cancelled a delivery the 3rd time. Lowes promised an on-site inspection. They did not show up when they said they would. I had to call them. Unprofessional! We came here looking for blinds, rugs, and other home supplies. They have a good selection of brands for blinds, but their size and color options were limited. We kept finding the color we wanted but wrong size or level of light filtration. We ended up reviewing the color swatch guides and ordering online instead. I wasn't too impressed with their rugs. Though their quality was reasonable, they had a lot of bland, washed out colors and dated patterns. We did get some great, ultra durable doormats from here, as well as clear plastic shelf liners. First time it showed up they included the wrong parts, I went to the store to order directly to ensure the correct parts arrived. Again, wrong parts were included. I went to the store to pick up the parts so that the order was not delayed. They did not show AGAIN. Finally three weeks later the washer dryer shows up damaged. The delivery date and time were confirmed, yet when that day and time came, nothing was delivered. I called numerous times to problem solve with the store and was met with a phone that rang and rang endlessly to no answer. After repeated attempts, on the two occasions where someone did pick up, I was hung up on. I just got disconnected from Lowe's they didn't even get my purchase or order details just now. And I called before about the storage vendors that I picked up full of debris I was offered a 10% promo code. However I was basically getting "what you want?" from the customer service representative just now with regards to the fact that the return documents still had somebody else's labels on them and were badly heavily scoffed and used and this stands work coming up. I can't even begin to imagine what this stuff is I used 2 different kinds of lights all some chlorox and some degrees so far. But apparently you reach people on the phone that haven't a clue a cloak and are about as intelligent as well they're not they're dense. I'm attaching a lovely photo as a demonstration of what I was given for a new purchase at the Lowes in Jersey City. Mind you I dumped out most of the debris in the store still right there as a at the pickup counter. I don't see a way of touching a photo but I'd like to touch a photo of the bad stuff marks that I have not been able to clean and they lonely debris. This location deserves absolutely "no" starts. Excuse the poor grammar as I am overly angry with this continued experience I encounter with this location. Contacting this Lowe's location is absolutely horrible.. I spoke with Amanda, Ashley and Rochelle. I had ordered a grey vanity about 3-4 weeks ago and a white one came in. (In error) The white one was returned and a grey one was re-ordered in its place. No one had called me to let me know it had come in but after checking what the status was today, Amanda told me it did come in already however I wanted to ensure it was grey before I head over to pick it up. I was on hold for over 2 hours and 30 minutes. While leaving this phone on hold I contacted them using another phone and was on hold for 20 minutes. Ashley came on the phone and told me they had no one available to bring it down to check. After requesting to speak with a manager, I was placed on hold for an additional 15 minutes. My original call was picked up and they hung up. The lack of follow up and the disregard to the importance of a customer call is epic. In total, I was on hold for over 3 hours. Why is this acceptable? I understand everyone is busy but I feel this is blatant disrespect and once I pick up this cabinet, I will never shop at this Lowe's location ever again. Online ordered a bbq and patio furniture over a month ago. Every week, they keep rescheduling the delivery, sometimes once, sometimes twice a week. We've taken days off of work, cancelled planned outings...just to accept a delivery that never shows up and gets "rescheduled" at the end of the day after sitting around the whole day waiting. This has now happend 7 times. You try to call them and talk to someone, and you never can. You can spend 30 minutes, an hour, up to 4 hours on hold, and you will eventually get disconnected without the issue being resolved. read more

For the 2nd time this month I walked in and then walked back out without getting what I wanted. Today there were lots of people working, but only 2 VERY slow cashiers. One of the cashiers simply walked away from the checkout leaving the line completely unattended. Both lines had at least a half dozen people each (more than a dozen waiting customers total). The other line didn't move at all for at least 5 minutes. There were plenty of other employees in the store (not helping anyone), but either the management was entirely not paying attention or there was some type of working rebellion happening. Either way the store is simply not functioning and should be closed until they can figure out what the problem is. If the workers are protesting working conditions during COVID I support them. Having a privacy fence installed in my yard was a nightmare, this week. The lack of respect for my home, yard, and dogs was just disgusting. Carlos, the contractor was the worst. Not only did they needlessly destroy shrubs and flowers; they left their debris all over the yard. They pulled up tulip bulbs, put back none of my bird feeders, garden fencing, or furniture when they finished. They stepped in flower beds in the middle of the yard, while installing a perimeter fence. There final exit left the gate open, to the street for my dogs to get out! I was supposed to receive my refrigerator on 6/10/22 but the delivery crew was unable to deliver due to my street being closed off by the city for repairs and not wanting to park on the corner. I asked if they could come back after 5pm when the street would be reopened, but they said they would be unable to. I called the 800 number to reschedule for the next day and was told by an associate named Marcella that my delivery would happen on 6/11...which did not happen. I called the store directly and spoke to a man named Corey who stated he was the manager and set my delivery for 6/12. I still haven't received my refrigerator and I haven't been able to speak with a human being to get this resolved. I have spent the last several days ordering takeout because I don't have a refrigerator. Whatever I did have was placed in coolers in anticipation of the new one being received days ago...and is now obviously spoiled. If I would be able to receive a refrigerator from another store tomorrow, I'd obviously order one from them. I will never set foot in another Lowes and I would never recommend them to anyone. I sincerely hope that none of the individuals I have dealt with over these last few days (when I am able to reach a human) will ever have the experience that I had because I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I recently purchased and installed a complete kitchen in my own home ,Lowe's in Norwich NY had my counter top installed by their sub contractors . Upon completion and after appliance's were delivered with much delay . I notice that the floor range opening was incorrect, 30 " in the back, and 30.5 " in the front. After many emails and conversations to Lowe's district's project manager,has told me that I will have to "live with this" I will say after 25k spent in this store . They will accept your payment and essentially forget about providing a shed of customer service. 9.9 x out of 10 - an associate will never pick up the phone or give you lip service when they do. We're having renovations done to a guest house so we've been taking trips to home improvement stores for the past 2 weeks, primarily Home Depot. We noticed that Lowes had a less expensive selection of kitchen counter tops so we figured it was worth a shot to check the local store out. The sales representative in the Kitchen department was not available the first 2 times we went; "fine," we thought, "we'll just leave a message and come back in a few days." In two days, when we took another trip out there, our message was untouched despite her having been there the previous day. We were then told that she'd taken a sick day. I decided to stick to Home Depot after all this mess. Since I was already in the store, however, I thought it would be worth a shot to check out their floor selection of bathroom sinks. I went to that section; figured I'd get the professional opinion of someone who worked there. Looking around in that section, I noticed that there were not representatives available to help. So I took a walk to the neighboring sections. In neither of them was there an employee present. One more section down, same story. Seriously now, not a SINGLE employee in FOUR sections?! I was so utterly disappointed and frustrated that I considered complaining to the on-duty supervisor. You won't be surprised to hear that the supervisor was no where to be found. One girl walking around told me she wasn't in customer service when I asked her to help me. The chick in community/customer service with weird glasses on, wouldn't even look at me... let alone answer a question. I did get her attention through when I slammed my cart into the wall out of frustration and walked out. I went to Home Depot up the road and they helped me right away.
