    This is what it looks like when you put an 18 inch cabinet in a 16 inch opening

    I had my kitchen renovated by the lowes on 440 in Jersey city. The cabinets were installed the first week of June. Had several severe issues with the installation. They installed 18 inch cabinets in a 16 inch opening. They left with an exposed cabinet frame by the microwave. The installer left that day without an explanation. I had to follow up with the installer and Lowes. There was a lot of back-and-forth on who to blame. Lowes blamed the installer measurements, the installer blamed the Lowes ordering team. It took one month to get the exposed cabinet frame fixed. It's the middle of August and still waiting for my cabinet overhang issue to be addressed. Lowes tried to deliver 2 broken ovens and cancelled a delivery the 3rd time. Lowes promised an on-site inspection. They did not show up when they said they would. I had to call them. Unprofessional! I had to take a lot of time off from work. I would not recommend Lowes for kitchen renovations under any circumstances Chris

    I just got disconnected from Lowe's they didn't even get my purchase or order details just now. And I called before about the storage vendors that I picked up full of debris I was offered a 10% promo code. However I was basically getting "what you want?" from the customer service representative just now with regards to the fact that the return documents still had somebody else's labels on them and were badly heavily scoffed and used and this stands work coming up. I can't even begin to imagine what this stuff is I used 2 different kinds of lights all some chlorox and some degrees so far. But apparently you reach people on the phone that haven't a clue a cloak and are about as intelligent as well they're not they're dense. I'm attaching a lovely photo as a demonstration of what I was given for a new purchase at the Lowes in Jersey City. Mind you I dumped out most of the debris in the store still right there as a at the pickup counter. I don't see a way of touching a photo but I'd like to touch a photo of the bad stuff marks that I have not been able to clean and they lonely debris. Granded these Items are in storage and they're transported and put out in the floor or at the counter and there's some cleaning that would be expected but not to this level.

    My 2 hour and 30 minute hold experience. Add an additional 30-40 minutes.

    This location deserves absolutely "no" starts. Excuse the poor grammar as I am overly angry with this continued experience I encounter with this location. Contacting this Lowe's location is absolutely horrible.. I spoke with Amanda, Ashley and Rochelle. I had ordered a grey vanity about 3-4 weeks ago and a white one came in. (In error) The white one was returned and a grey one was re-ordered in its place. No one had called me to let me know it had come in but after checking what the status was today, Amanda told me it did come in already however I wanted to ensure it was grey before I head over to pick it up. I was on hold for over 2 hours and 30 minutes. While leaving this phone on hold I contacted them using another phone and was on hold for 20 minutes. Ashley came on the phone and told me they had no one available to bring it down to check. After requesting to speak with a manager, I was placed on hold for an additional 15 minutes. My original call was picked up and they hung up. The lack of follow up and the disregard to the importance of a customer call is epic. In total, I was on hold for over 3 hours. Why is this acceptable? I understand everyone is busy but I feel this is blatant disrespect and once I pick up this cabinet, I will never shop at this Lowe's location ever again. It is a shame I have to go to another town to shop at a Lowe's or just head to a competitor.

    Terrible customer experience. After waiting for 35 mins i was given a visibly damaged dishwasher. Still waiting for over 45 mins for getting exchanged. Escalation to manager is totally useless. Nobody ever shows up

    I live in the neighborhood and have shopped here for ten years but I'm done. I needed to replace a…read moreburned-out $5 300W halogen lightbulb. I came here to pick one up a few days ago and was advised instead to buy a 150W bulb because 300W would be too bright. Brought it home, installed it, and it didn't work. No big deal. So I came back to return it today - in the middle of my workday, because their hours are so restricted. In a normal store, you just switch out the defective bulb; quick and dirty. Not here - the clerk's aggressive line of questioning made clear he didn't trust me in the least. Clerk: How do you know the bulb doesn't work if you didn't open the package? Me: The package is open - see? You just didn't see where I tore it open. Clerk: Did you touch the bulb when you were installing it? Me: No, I wore gloves like you're supposed to do. [Clerk pulls out a massive magnifying glass to read the fine print on the back of the package.] Clerk: Aha! It says here, 'Do not install if the lamp is hot.' Was your lamp hot? Me: No. I was replacing a bulb that burned out days ago and the lamp hadn't been used. [Clerk walks to a shelf and picks up a utility light that uses a similar bulb. He spends several minutes opening it up but doesn't test the defective bulb in it. He pulls out the 500W bulb that was packaged with the utility light.] Clerk: Do you just want to take this bulb? Me: No, that's a 500W bulb and my light is a 300W light. Clerk (triumphantly): What? Then why'd you buy a 150W bulb? (Waves defective bulb in the air.) Me: Because when I bought it the guy here, at this hardware store, told me to buy it. I was following the advice of your staff. [Clerk glares at me.] So I said forget it, I just came here to replace a $5 bulb, not lose half my workday and get interrogated to boot. From now on I'm buying my hardware at Home Depot or Amazon. Say what you will about supporting the spunky little local stores - I can't deal with this again.
