We hired BV for my daughter's Bridal Shower in NYC at Union Square Cafe. They provided a Deluxe Flower Bar Cart, two staffers and floral centerpieces for the tables. WOW! Did they exceed expectations. The Flower Bar Cart was amazing. The bouquets that they made were incredible. One of the staffers tapped on a glass to get everyone's attention and then spoke to the ladies encouraging everyone to come to the bar and have a bouquet made especially for them. That was the biggest reason why the flower bar cart was a HUGE success! Every flower was fresh, gorgeous and fantastic. The arrangements for the tables were beyond exceptional. Bill made our home so beautiful for the holidays!! Elegant and classic, using a fresh wreath and garland that smelled SO incredible every time you came near. We were looking for Christmas decorations and lights to be put up but didn't have a vision. Bill provided us a few different options to choose from, and once we chose, he and his team put everything up in early December and took everything down at the end of the season in mid January. My boyfriend picked up a bouquet from this shop on Wednesday afternoon. He asked for a nice summer arrangement. While as a whole it looked very pretty, when unraveled and placed in the vase, you could see what poor quality the flowers were. The two sunflowers were already wilting, one of the hydrangea stems was fully dead by Friday. There was way too much cheap filler florals. And they didn't bother to include one plant food packet. Overwhelmed, blown away, ecstatic beyond words. We ordered a celebration centerpiece and a traditional peony bridal bouquet with 3 days notice via the website, sight unseen. Risky, but things always work out. In this case they worked out over and above our wildest expectations. The flowers were gorgeous, fresh, perfectly arranged. The roses in the bouquet have the most amazing fragrance, that I just wanted to dive into them. There were flowers so beautiful, I didn't even know they existed. Delivery was on time. The attention to detail was impeccable. The bouquet was delivered in a watered vase and covered in elegant paper and ribbon. We are still fawning over each piece after 5 days. Sadly, they will not last forever, but we have taken a ridiculous amount of pictures to keep the memory. Quaint garden and floral shop with a wide selection of vegetables and herbs. I am disappointed that I have only discovered this great spot during the pandemic, so I have never been able to go inside. What I can tell from the outside and generosity of the owner, it's one to not miss! They have created an honor system which allows passerby's to drop money in their mail slot or send payment via Venmo. So wonderful and option to offer during this time when contactless transactions are of upmost priority. I had to send flowers at the last minute to someone local in Hoboken and it wasn't easy to find anybody. (It was past 3pm) Many of them either said they close early due to Covid or charge extra "delivery fee" which I didn't feel it was necessary to pay. So I kept looking, until I got to talk to William (the owner). He really did come through for me. He not only waived the delivery fee, he literally did the delivery himself within less than 3 hours after ordering. He called me when he was at the recepient's building (the building doesn't have doorman), I told him tips to how to get in there, where to leave flowers, etc and he did all of them. Not too many flower delivery guys are as patient as he is. Not only that, the arrangement itself, later on, I was able to check it myself since I had no idea what I was sending (they actually do have website with pictures so that you can pick which one and if the budget is lower than that he will work with but still, you'd wonder how that'd be different) and it was pretty much close to the way I wanted it. I know I'm not the easiest customer in the world when it comes to sending flowers. (Like, I'd never do 1-800-Flowers) But William made it easy and anytime I need to send anything in NJ, I'd be happy to call on him again. This is a truly wonderful and amazing florist. William prepared a gorgeous and beautiful floral arrangement for my sister in law's birthday. I ordered My Secret Treasure, but I asked William to add orchids and more roses to make the arrangement more full and vibrant. It was truly stunning!! The color scheme was beautiful and all the flowers were very fresh and they were in a very nice vase. There were pink, light pink and peach roses that blended perfectly with the orchids and peonies. He also added fresh pink peonies from the same morning as the delivery date. My sister in law said that the flowers smelled so fragrant. Overall, William did an excellent job. Agreed a price for a years worth of floral service and then reneged on price after a few months. Steer well clear of these scam artists. UPDATE: Post the owners comment being added, just want to be clear: it was more than just the reneging of the contract, he took the money up-front for a years worth of service and then decided to raise the price a few months in. So in effect only showed up once initially and wanted more money before coming again. Lesson learnt: be careful who you pay upfront for work, even local/established businesses. read more

While I was so happy that the delivery of my flowers went well and the people I sent them to received the flowers the day I expected, I was incredibly disappointed with the look of my flowers. The recipient sent me a photo of the flowers they received and I was incredibly shocked and disappointed to find that the bouquet looked nothing like the photo of what I ordered. While the flowers were of the same coloring as pictured online, it was clear the same types of flowers were not used nor was it as full of florals as the bouquet pictured.
