I go to Lowes regularly. If you know what you are looking for things work great. If you don't, sometimes it takes a little while to find someone who does. More recently I had a bit of a fiasco with them delivering a dishwasher to me...but the kind of thing you semi-expect from large companies. Let me start by saying I live around the corner from a Home Depot and drive out of my way to go to lowes. The people in their departments have knowledge in that department which is nice. Employees are almost always nice and smiling. Not to take away from anyone there but Katlyn in customer service/internet orders was perfect when I was going back multiple times in multiple days getting my patio supply's. All the guys helping load all the bricks were great and friendly and didn't stop at just loading but had conversations with me as they loaded my things. I'll get all their names and update because it was crazy running around back there. I spoke with a manager named Jay and let him know how great they are and he was very friendly and helpful even before he found out I wasn't a complaint. read more

They got one star only because there wasn't an option for zero stars. Horrendous experience ordering a dishwasher from this store. I went in the end of March and paid cash for a dishwasher and it's almost the end of may and still no dishwasher. First they said they were out of stock, then it came in damaged (no one ever called) weeks and months later after calling and getting the run around (I was never called once with an update) finally I had went into the store to demand answers...got the direct number for their very unprofessional installer who told me my dishwasher order was cancelled!? He was scheduled to come today between 1 and 3. At almost 4 Pm they're still not here. The service and management at this store is an absolute disgrace. The manager and assistants that run this store do not care at all about customer service. After an incident at the store, I called Lowe's Customer Care and asked to speak to a regional manager. They said I could not speak to a regional manager until after I spoke to the store manager. I agreed to wait for the store manager to call me. Instead, an assistant manager named Bill called and left a message saying he did not know what I expected them to do. So, I can't talk to a regional until I talk to the store manager and the store manager deflects calls to a hapless assistant manager. But because I still have not talked to the store manager, the customer service line refuses to send my complaint to a regional. The store manager is more interested in keeping me away from the regional than talking. Avoid this store at all costs. read more

I used to love going here. Once the store manager Mark was transferred, everything went down hill. Long time employees we're let go or transferred. The new manager keeps bringing in his former coworkers. Morale here is at an all time low. I am now going to Home Depot. read more

So I decided it was time for a new grill and ordered it online with Lowes. I get a phone call later in the day saying we don't have it in stock I said but your website says 1 available his reply was it's sold waiting for pick up. I went there and finally found someone that was working in that department oh sorry was supposed to be working in that department but was standing looking at their cell phone. I asked the useless employee about the grill and she replied oh we don't have that one I said the inventory says you have 1 oh it's already sold I said ok but your inventory says 1 in stock I guess it's just typical lowes incompetence and walked away. I get a phone call today and was told they don't have it in stock I informed the moron they already called and told me that. I then get a phone call from the assistant manager and was told she fully investigated the incident and they don't have the item in stock and I said but yet your website says you have 1 in stock she replied oh that's the display model I said ok so 3 other employees said the 1 that's showing as available is one that was sold and waiting to be picked up and you're saying that's inaccurate. The employees at this Lowes location are completely incompetent. read more

It's very seldom that I write a review but I want to say how helpful Phil (or Paul) was on Sunday, October 9, 2016. I needed an inexpensive curtain rod that was smaller than what was in the package. I talked with him and asked him if I would be able to simply cut it down when I got home. He is assured me that I would be able to and, in the same breath, said better yet he would do it for me. He went to another department and cut the rod to the size I needed. I needed to do a little more shopping but Phil (or Paul) found me a few minutes later and took the rod it to another department and filed it down so there weren't any rough edges. It's important to note that the rod only cost $3.97! Best customer service I've had in a very very long time. read more

Resist the temptation to buy an appliance from Lowes. There are good sales, but the customer service is extraordinarily awful. I waited all day for a delivery of my new washer, after being given a 2 hour window as my delivery time. The time came and went. I called the store and had great difficulty actually getting through to a representative. Finally I spoke to someone responsible for deliveries who said "it will be delivered within the hour." Two more hours went by, no delivery. Again I tried to call, spoke to someone in the appliance department who was unsympathetic and simply did not care about my problem. He became impatient with me and told me he had nothing to do with deliveries. Again I tried to reach someone to help. I had difficulty getting someone to answer the phone, and when she did, she too had a bad attitude, and told me with an edge to her voice that she was with another customer. I got absolutely no where with any of the employees that I spoke with. I wasted my whole Father's Day Sunday sitting at home waiting for this delivery that was not important to anyone else but me. That is my point! Lowes employees are not properly trained in customer relations. Don't expect it. They really don't care. Hadthey called me, given me the courtesy of updating me about my delivery I would have been fine with it. But they didn't. I will never step into Lowes again! read more

Let me start out by saying i like my local Lowes. I ordered an item online that was not available at any of my local stores. There was no mention online when I placed the order about not being in stock or backordered. One week after placing the order, I received a call that the item was backordered but they had one in stock at the Langhorne store. They put me on the phone with them and they told me it would ship out Monday (this was a Saturday). After another week and a half I called their store to find out why I had not received it. The lady on the phone first said it was to be picked up (I paid shipping). Then she told me it had shipped out Friday, but not really sure. Another 4 days passed, I called again on a Saturday. I was told sorry, you will have to call back Monday, I don't have any information to give you. Really? Don't you have a computer in front of you? So, I called Lowes customer service. They called the store and found out it was never in stock to begin with! They issued a refund, but when I checked online, the refund did not include the extended warranty I purchased. So.....back again on the phone with customer service. They called the store and the manager had to take care of correcting the refund. All this (probably a good 2 hours on the phone between the initial order and all the wait times on hold correcting this issue and a good 3 weeks) for a small appliance(different brand) I ended up going and buying at my local Best Buy. read more

Usually at the Langhorne store you are over run with someone willing to assist you. In an emergency, we went in to buy a dishwasher. A few days before a Holiday family dinner and the dishwasher goes on the blink. No one in appliance department. Looked around, found what we wanted. No one there. Finally my husband goes to another Department, they page employee twice. Another woman approaches him and a ten minute conversation about how these appliances are throw always and do not last more than five years. The lady left without a purchase and then we met Dave. Told him we need a dishwasher asap for Holiday. After a trip to backroom he confirms he has the dishwasher, he redelivers how these are not meant to last, they are throw away, maybe last two to five years. After bill prepared he spoke of delivery after Thanksgiving. Asked if he could help in anyway to get delivery by Wed as it is five days before Thanksgiving. No. Dave needs some help, maybe the strain of the throw always is too much. His spirit of helping is also a throw away. Disappointing. Went elsewhere, dishwasher to be delivered and hooked up Monday. read more
