DO NOT HAVE APPLIANCES INSTALLED BY LOWES!! The installation companies they hire out are not certified to install appliances. They break valves, plumbing, chip cabinets, and do not complete the work. The Lowe's store managers are not even able to get involved with installations and you are left fighting for reimbursement through the installation broker. They require you to email a dissertation and any invoices that you have from companies you hired to fix their mistakes. We chose an LG cooktop a couple of weeks ago, and the sales staff could not have been more helpful. We were so impressed much they knew so much about cooktops and the various brands. Today, "Alex" installed it for us. We could not be more pleased. To install the cooktop, he had to remove the oven below, and the new cooktop was 1 1/2" deeper than the old one. Alex carefully measured, and it seemed the cooktop wasn't going to fit, but he continued optimistically, and it fit just fine. He did an outstanding job, and it looks amazing. I was told by Colton asst store manager,That there was nothing he could do,The warranty starts from the day of purchase.So I asked him,So your voiding the first year warranty.That seems like a low life move.It seems unethical.So I googled it.Yes it's exactly what the sales person told me.So Colton said a lot of stuff.Like he may be able to give me a free washer.Because a lot of customers were told this.So Colton gets back to me ,He can't give me a free washer.That that's been there policy .Well I felt betrayed and felt like I got screwed again by corporate.He offer half off lesser machine with a 5 year Warranty.So I took it reluctantly.Because I needed a washer and that commercial grade washer and dryer I bought, I thought it would last longer than 5 years.So I still wasn't happy. I felt like some bent me over and gave it to me good.So guess What ,The new 5 year warranty gets sent to me and the 5 year warranty starts 1 year after the manufacture warranty.So Colton lied to me.So I ask to speak to the store manager.Martha Valesco.She tried to talk in circles,But when I told what was sent to me She said she would get back to me.She knew I was lied to and she also lied to me.Lowe's has officially been down graded to a Store that screws customers over.They wonder why no one shops there any more. The service at this store is not horrible - it's non existent. They almost never have enough employees on the sales floor, but MANY can be seen hanging around the service and pickup desk. And when they do have employees on the sales floor, too often, they just don't know. It's ok not to know. It's not ok to not know and not find someone who does know. It seems Lowe's is hiring bodies rather than knowledgeable employees. Oh, and ring the bell in the area where you need help and, IF someone shows up, it's some kid who doesn't have the knowledge to help. And the CEO wonders what's happening to sales. read more

I haven't really shopped at Lowe's until I moved to Vegas and this branch is close to my new home and I started coming here often to buy appliances and goods necessary for my move-in. Service here has ranged from well to very bad. The kind staff at the appliance section were super helpful and gave great customer service and making sure my order was prompt. No issues there so far. What soured my experience here was with the staff at the window/blinds department. They were not helpful and seemed annoyed at having to explain what options they offer. It made me felt bad for asking questions even though it's a large purchase and I want to be sure what I'm paying for. Jennifer was particularly rude. Her facial expressions clearly showed that she was annoyed and condescending with my questions and just wanted me to proceed with the transaction. Beware ! This location will give you products when you buy online and go pick it up either curbside or inside store , with open boxes and pieces missing . I went and got curbside pick up for a patio shade and the box was opened at the top and it was used and all the pieces were missing , the screws and all attachments. Lousy and lazy workers not checking the item thoroughly first . I called and was able to exchange it for one that was intact , but what a waste of my time ! I bought a washer/dryer from them and had to return the dryer, because I bought gas instead of electric. I have the most difficult time trying to get my refund on the gas dryer install kit, and the $20 for gas installation fee. I got my refund for the dryer and the $20, but when I check online, the dryer install kit was marked delivered. We purchased an LG stove on 11/14/23. We noticed the stove was defective. Called store#0784 appliances spoke w/ Ted customer specialist in appliances, he said that it's still returnable cause it's not in the 90days policy, he said to contact the Lowe's distribution center. She stated that the stove was still returnable and made an input on the system/documenting the info, she said that all she needed was store#0784 and get an approval. However when we called the store. We received unfriendly costumer service from MOD Andy. He was not helpful, he refused to provide the store manager info and kept on telling me the policy over and over again. I recently moved in with my guy and we have become regulars here. I never knew how much he enjoyed home improvement projects until we had a home to improve together! He basically refers to this place as his version of the toy store, and our purchases here are all over the place- storage containers, paint/stain, plants, etc. Pricing is competitive with what I find online, so we are just as likely to hop in the car and come here to avoid waiting for an item to ship. The one constant, from the lumber area to the paint department, is the lack of service. There are staff, they're around, but they're not actively helping customers or asking how you're doing like the spot with the orange logo. If you have questions or need something, you'll probably get an answer or some help, but you have to hunt down the person first. We were in need of a grill on a Friday, assembled and delivered by Saturday morning. Contrary to Lowes online claims, their policies presented challenges to achieving this task. The first company they sent out that I had asked them not to send out was a complete and total joke ADA repair. The technician finally turned his report in yesterday, (he was out July 5) and he can't even work on the type of refrigerator that I have. The person that I spoke to Chris, at Lowe's extended warranty is sending me out a company that is certified to work on the type of refrigerator I have and was so very kind and helpful. Even letting me know what other benefits I have. I give Chris 10 stars but Lowes I'm only moving to three stars because of the hoops I've had to jump through to try and get my refrigerator fixed and this all could've been avoided if they had done what I asked and send out a different company instead of ADA repair. read more

Even after he clocked out he helped the rookie help me. With cutting g pvc piping. Then about a week ago I was looking for 2 bolts to hold my engine to the stand. Went with my roommate to go get her husband a grill. Seems like no employees around to answer any questions we had about where it was, and we found a kind blonde curly haired older lady to help. She explained to another worker, name Hernan or Herman, had a very unclear name tag; that she was supposed to go home, but she was extremely happy to help us find the perfect grill that fit our needs! While we were being helped at a computer, Herman made a lot of snarky comments. First, he said we weren't worth helping and that she should just go home. Next, he was complaining about us wanting an unbuilt grill, which is a Christmas gift. Then, when my roommate told me to go home and she was okay, I made a joke, which Herman said I was passive aggressive. He was very unprofessional as he was cussing at everything and not showing any kind of professionalism. Definitely will not be going back to this location, which is unfortunate because it's near by. I came into Lowe's one weekend to purchase a washer/dryer. I knew exactly what I wanted and preferred not to linger since my grandma was with me. We went straight back to the W/D section, and wasted a good ten minutes or so of walking around that one section before anybody approached us and asked if we needed assistance. Once someone finally did decide to help, she was pleasant but urgent. Her responses to my questions felt rushed and instead of listening to the complete sentence, she would guess what I was asking and cut me off to answer. More time wasted than necessary. Eventually, I got my order placed and decided to go with the 12 month financing option. For whatever reason, they couldn't process the check out back there and I had to go to the front. Nobody at the front registers knew what I was talking about, so I wasted another ten minutes waiting around up there as they all asked each other what to do. It was extremely disorganized, but at the end, I got what I came for. The Lowe's installers that came to put the W/D in my house a few days later were friendly and did the install swiftly, so these three stars are for them. read more

We decided to stop and get the Paint at this location because we were In the area. after selecting the Sherwin Williams paint in Satin that we wanted and the color swatch to the paint associate, he told us that it was not the right paint and he would grab us the new one with the color choice selected. Fast forward to painting the entire room and drying, I noticed that is was a flat, not a satin. NOTE TO FUTURE PAINT BUYERS: don't trust the paint employee's at this location or any other. If I could post zeros stars I would, due to one terrible employee that works with customers unfortunately. As a homeowner I have been a frequent customer at the Lowe's store #0784 at 7550 W. Washington, Las Vegas, NV 89128. Today I received the worst customer service in a very long time. Your employee named Martin was absolutely rude and unprofessional when I asked the simple task to make two keys for me. He took a key and started making a generic version when I was still looking for the key I wanted. Then told me I couldn't have what he made. I even said I was willing to pay for an extra at his mistake. Then argued with me about the sizes of keys and asking "what do you want then." When he finally understood I needed two keys made and provided the keys I chose to be made, I asked the simple question if my keys did not fit my lock, what do I do? He said, "I don't know." I replied, "What do you mean you don't know?" He responds, "I'm not customer service, go ask them. I don't know." In which I responded, "I am asking an employee here that's making my keys and you're telling me you don't know and to ask someone else?" He responded with "Yes, I don't know." The rest of the key making was done in silence and was very uncomfortable. I had to pay for a key I didn't want made due to him rushing me in the beginning as well. I really hope this employee avoids customer contact as this makes me not want to return to this location and I am concerned for others he interacts with. If he is miserable in his job, I should not have to pay the price with his service. I will be seeking another location.
