We have been told so many different things by different managers that no one knows what is going on. We are currently waiting for our 5th refrigerator. The first 4 were damaged. We spent several hours this weekend getting another delivery set up for today, only to have Lowe's cancel. Personally, I think they has no intentions to deliver today and just lied to us to get us off of their backs. We purchased a new home we went to Lowe's purchased a brand new Maytag washer and dryer the same exact ones we had at our other house. We are at 31 days since purchase they had delivered leveled everything and the washer sounds horrible. I've checked 10 times over that it's level. I called Lowe's. They refuse to do anything. They said well if you had purchased under Lowe's credit card, we could've helped you guess what I did and then her answer was your one day over. Don't waste your time shop at Menards or Home Depot. Purchased a floor model electric fireplace, and had asked them to plug it in to ensure it worked before buying. They said no. They gave me 20% off for scratches, but made up for it in delivery fee. Sure enough, it is not performing as expected. So I called customer support. CS said to email them my receipt and they'd send a new part. But when I did they replied "that unfortunately, at this time, the Heater is currently not available. In this case, we would like to provide the options that we have since the requested part is not available: Option one: We place a backorder and the estimated delivery time frame would be by the end of April. Option two: We can provide you with a reference number so you can have the full item exchanged/refunded at the store with a copy of the receipt" This does not include delivery fee and I can't put it in my car. I would give negative stars if I could! If you are planning to remodel a kitchen and you are even thinking of Lowes, i have advice for you - don't do it. Remodeling is stressful enough without bad service, sales reps that won't respond, and managers who act like it is your responsibility to call their manufacturers I order cabinets in January with a 13 to 17 week delivery time. This week they notified me that my order is set to be delivered part in July and the rest in August. When I said that is unacceptable they told me to call the manufacturer. Not one time has anyone said they are sorry for the delays. Instead, they have made excuses and at one point even blamed it on me. I wish there was a 0 star rating for Lowe's. We placed an order for cabinets and a countertop on May 18th. Due to COVID, it took four months for the cabinets to be manufactured - due to be delivered on Sept. 10th and installed on the 13th and 14th. On May 20th, the countertop fabricator advised us to notify them as soon as we knew the installation date, so they could come out and measure. I notified them on Aug. 9th only to be advised that they no longer fabricate counters for Lowe's. No one from Lowe's notified us! When I forwarded the email to my salesperson asking for help, I received no response. Tried contacting the sales person by phone several times - finally started talking to store managers - to date - I've spoken to 3 managers - 2 over the phone and one in person, absolutely no assistance. I finally was able to talk to the sales person and she had no answers either. I then advised that Lowe's was in breach of contract. They accepted my order for the countertops - forwarded the order to the fabricator - and Lowe's can't fulfill our contract. I said that Lowe's needed to compensate us for the breach of contract. She advised that was above her pay grade, but she would notify the powers that be. That was two days ago! I would like for them to pay for the installation and countertop - very unlikely I know. Over the years, we've spent thousands of dollars at Lowe's! I know it's probably small potatoes to Lowe's - but it's the small potato customers, that help keep the lights on at Lowe's! read more

I went this morning to find some broken bags of mulch. They sell them on discount, and as a senior citizen--it helps with my budget. When I asked the boys in the yard, they said "we don't have any broken bags", and the older gentleman on the skid loader said "we don't have any broken bags". I could see several bags busted where they were fibbing, and as I drove out of the mulch area--Lots of broken bags laid in a pile. I will never go to this Lowes again. Don't lie to me. It's a typical Lowe's but I gave them 4 stars (which may have been a little generous) because of the friendly staff. Checkout is always a breeze. It can be hard to find someone when you need them, but when you don't they seem to be everywhere. Went there for insulation and the selection was slim, however when I called the Florence, KY location they didn't have anything more.... so I wouldn't necessarily say they are a smaller store than those in KY. They are also the only store in the area... no Home Depot or anything comparable in a 20 mile radius. read more

I was hoping you guys had the option to receive private messages which us clearly not the case so unfortunately this will have to do. I am reaching out because I am tired of the treatment that my boyfriend and I receive on a daily basis. First off, my boyfriend has been a very loyal customer to this location and still is due to Handyman work that he does and the supplies that is needed but is not treated as a customer. We all know that all of your employees are aware that we recently became homeless and we chose to park in your lot. I am pregnant and after you guys close, it's very secluded and others don't just drive around, park for the night really, etc. And with being pregnant UT really helps that I feel safe where sleep at this point and that's why we continue to sleep in your parking lot. We are quiet, we don't cause any trouble, we hardly even come inside to use the restroom because we know how horrid we look and don't want to disrespect your business in anyway and avoid even that unless if it's an emergency which again, I am pregnant, almost 6.5 months pregnant but even with all of my potty emergencies u don't come in much at all out of respect for your store and go elsewhere. Your employees point their noses up to us, they look at us like we are beneath them and that they are disgusted by us. And trust me, we are ashamed and we are struggling beyond financially but mentally and the lack of kindness and compassion even from your employees has made it worst. I have even been having issues that when I come in, the rare times that I need to use the restroom here because my pregnant bladder gives me no choice, female employees have started following me into the bathroom to hover over me while I use the restroom like I am doing something wrong. Which just because we are homeless doesn't mean that either of us are bad people, doesnt mean we are potential theives or whatever excuse they have made up in their heads to follow and hover while I use the bathroom. It is so demeaning and there just isn't a good reason to do so, we have never given you guys a reason to question our honesty or actions when entering the store. So why escort me to the restroom? To listen to me pee or maybe it's to listen to me when I cry everytime I come in because it's the only moment I have alone. Well, not alone but away from my boyfriend so he doesn't have to see it just to hurt him more. Because our situation is not to be judged or to be watched like it's a movie. It was unpredictable and unexpected and because of negligence that was not on our end. Now we suffer, freezing at night because we can barely keep gas in our gas guzzler to stay warm. We struggle to take care of ourselves and completely lack all ability for self care. We are mentally struggling and barely hanging on without just giving up. I'm pregnant with a little baby boy that we have waited nearly ten years for and have to be in fear everyday that if we are too cold it can harm him, the stress can cause harm to our baby and the lack of food since we struggle most days to maybe even get to eat one meal a day, which he needs me to eat and I fear he us not growing properly. And I am high risk, I am extremely anemic, I have severe anxiety, even before ever even pregnant and all of thee things if not address appropriately, can cause major harm to our baby. So everyday is constantly filled with worry, shame/ embarrassment, etc. And I don't care if we receive help from the community or from local resources at this point. If we fight hard enough we will make it through this and our baby will make it through and welcome the world. But our moral is pretty much non existence and at least for myself, I care deeply for people in general, even when they don't deserve it which means I also care how I am treated by anybody and everybody and it greatly affects me and the way we have been continuously treated even just by the employees here, makes me embarrassingly very emotional. At this point, if I ask anything from this community, it would be just to show kindness and compassion. To treat us no different and with decency. Share a smile our way, say hello, or just don't stare at us and look down on us just to make us feel more ashamed. Your employees should have excellent customer service and they can't even treat human beings with decency, that is a HUGE problem. And I just ask that this be addressed because nobody deserves to be treated and looked at the way we do. Those actions can affect someone way more than you can ever imagine and they shouldn't even have to adjust or think about it because being a decent human being to others should just come naturally. Also, even with how we are treated I do also want to point out that your employee with the orange Jeep, did not securely park her jeep this morning. Which caused it to roll into the middle of the parking lot and nearly hit another vehicle. And with how we have been treated most people probably wouldn't have done anything. read more

As I have worked at this store , I was very disappointed in their lack of product. I was looking for a flower pot and the shelf was completely empty. Their variety in hanging baskets was non existent. They had lots of flowers in containers to plant outside, but not the variety I was use to seeing. Normally this time of year everything is full. The other thing that really doesn't involve me as a shopper, but knowing associates who still work there when I worked there are not getting their breaks only lunch. This is by far the worst Lowe's store I have ever used. From just non existent customer service to horrible management. My husband and I bought a new home that is in need of a multitude of improvements and have spent a small fortune at this store. From all the little things you need in a new home, electrical and plumbing needs, organization/storage needs, gardening, a refrigerator to flooring, both laminate and carpet. I have gone in there looking for assistance and had the red vests scatter like cockroaches, I've had someone tell me to wait while he finished putting stock away, I won't even go into my flooring purchase experience but I can tell you I won't be doing it again. I spoke to 3 managers. 2 in installation, 1 told me, "I can only tell you what it says on the screen" and when another issue arose another one actually said, "It is what it is." read more

Me and my brother waited for about 20 minutes try to get rope cut. We pressed the button two different times and we saw four different associates, wearing their red vest, walk by us with the announcement on the over head. We also saw four different associates at the customer service desk just talking to each other. So a total of eight different people that did not move to help us at all. I called the store to talk to someone but I received a busy signal on the phone. I again hit the button to get help, but still no one come to help us. I eventually went to the four people at the customer service desk to get someone to cut rope for us. The four people just looked around at each other almost deciding who will be the manager at that time. When I was telling the "manager" what my concerns was he interrupted me. He told me that I should have not gotten a busy signal, but I should have also not waited so long. He told me that someone will be there shortly to help me. It was about 3 minutes till someone from another department to come help us. I believe his name was Steve. Steve was helpful but I could tell rope was not his department but still was helpful. Marcus at the check out was also very helpful. He quickly had us taken care of and out the door. This Lowe's is the closest home improvement store to me but this trip really make me thinks if I ever want to step foot in there again. Just to recap: I had to press the button twice, I had to wait 20 minutes to get rope cut, the "manager" interrupted me, received a busy signal on the phone. May not ever step feet in this Lowe's or any Lowe's again. The senior store management has had this for four and a half days and nothing has come of this. read more

My experience with this Lowes in Lawrenceburg has not been good. I now recommend going to the Kentucky or Ohio Lowes stores but not Lawrenceburg. Service is terrible. Keys made do not work. Paint recommendations fail and are costly to correct with new products and your time. They do not even adhere to Lowes policies such as price matching their competitors and taking their own discount coupons. I know I experienced this in August. It becomes unbelievable some of the things this store does to their customers. My neighbors in Lawrenceburg have their own horror stories too. I love Lowes but not this store. I am a do-it-yourself handy person that has no problem building a new floor on my house or putting in new kitchens. I believe I have some knowledge so in my opinion their 'expert' knowledge at times is just plain wrong. read more

Most Lowe's stores are full of helpful employees, so this store in particular surprised me. My husband and I went to purchase a washer/dryer combo, and when we asked if there were any deals on units, the store manager Jerry was called to assist. When my husband asked him if he could give us a break on price if we purchased a washer AND dryer, he told us "I'm not running a garage sale, here". We thought he was joking, but by the look on his face, and his tone of voice, we could tell he was serious and that we were obviously a waste of his time. This is not a customer friendly store, and our experience at this one store and treatment - from a Lowe's Store Manager - has soured us on the Lowe's chain altogether. How they could hire a person with such a lack of people skills is beyond me. Avoid this store at all costs! read more

I have never had a problem here...purchased wood for my deck, deck paint, plaster, carpeting, chandelier, moisture absorbing products and deodorizers and now ordered a steam machine to be delivered to store which went off without a hitch.....I think I have used every department and never had problems in any of them. I am talking about the Lawrenceburg IN store as I have a house in Indiana as well as in Elizabethtown KY (and I don't like the KY store). read more

I would like to warn all military veterans to be aware of the bait and switch that Lowes puts out to those who have spent their time in service to their country. I was told that veterans received a 10% discount at all Lowes stores but when I asked for it, I was given a complete run around about not having the right I.D. I was told that a DD214 was not proof nor was a VA medical card nor my drivers license with the Vet marking on the back side. That is an Indiana drivers license. I am not the only one that has been treated this way, I have had two friends with similar experiences. It isn't the lousy 10% but the idea of being treated very poorly. I don't think they should say one thing and then not stand behind it. I also called corporate headquarters and received the same type of run around. read more
