The store was organized, the aisles were easy to navigate, and I didn't have to hunt someone down for help. What truly elevated the experience was that their in-store inventory accurately matched what was listed online -- something that unfortunately can't be said for a lot of similar retailers. I had the most HORRIBLE experience with this Lowes on a delivery. They left out items and told me I had to go to the store to pick them up. Then they refused to refund the delivery fee. They didn't read the delivery instructions and placed the bads of concrete on the floor of the carport near two openings where the rain comes in. I asked them to put them on the deck boards I ordered but NOPE. Prior to the order being sent out, I tried 8-10 times to contact Lowe's to add some items and ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT GET HELP. They told me they would refund the items that weren't delivered but that they wouldn't refund the delivery fee and that the order was "successfully" delivered. I'm sorry, but if items are left out of a delivery and I have to DRIVE to the store to get them, I shouldn't have to pay a darn delivery fee! And not only that, when I looked at the order it actually said the items WOULD be delivered but that it would be another week! WHAT? My handyman was ready to work on this project today!!! I really hope Lowe's Corporate listens to the recored phone call with the "customer service" person to really hear my frustration. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE----I'm not blaming the woman I ended up speaking with because apparently she doesn't work at the store and it honestly makes me think she might not even actually work for Lowe's, but for a third party phone bank. If Lowe's actually wanted my business they would either offer to DELIVER the items ASAP, or offer to refund the delivery fee. Over the years I have spent literally millions of dollars at Home Depot.....and a lot at Lowe's too. But this particular store is obviously underfunded because there's never anyone to help and if the rule is to not refund a $69 delivery fee that was NOT a "successful" or complete delivery, I just cannot be a committed customer and will continue to drive several miles further to Home Depot where they are fully staffed, have plenty of carts and seem to have their act together way, way better than this Lowe's. Oh.....AND I was told over and over that the delivery service Lowe's uses (apparently NOT Lowe's) does NOT put items in carport. I had to argue with the lady that the items were indeed in the carport, but not where the cement wouldn't get rained on. I mean isn't that just common sense? So I literally had to ask her if she wanted photos. Geez-I'm a senior citizen and I had to move 8 60 pound bags of concrete myself to get them on the other side of the carport so they wont get ruined when it rains. These instructions were on the delivery order. I had asked that they put the cement on top of the wood so that it wouldn't get wet when it rains, but NO!!!! They "successfully" (haha) put it right on the ground. And Lowe's couldn't care less. SO....I just told the lady to refund my order and pick it all up. I'm placing my order with Home Depot and my handyman offered to go pick it up tomorrow so he can get to work on this project before my guests arrive. NOT WORTH IT TO ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE INCREDIBLY UNORGANIZED AND SEEM TO NOT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I can see why this place has 1.5 stars, they really need to be at -1.5 because of people like Dionna. I have been dealing with a situation involving pavers for 2 freaking months and today...after Lowes Corp said the would return the delivery fee...now they offer a $25 e gift card. The phone system they have put in ensures you will never speak to human... so in order to speak to anyone in store you have to go there in person. This review is based on Collin, the service rep that sold me the washer. I chose LOWE's because they believe in the same things I do. The service I thought was redeeming. I spoke with an awesome rep named Collin, he helped me when the washer/dryer I wanted wasn't available. He made sure I had all the parts for connection. He notified me the dryer wasn't in stock. Scheduled delivery. Delivery day came and first I'm informed that all they have is the washer nothing else. I'm imagining no hoses or the other items I ordered. Turns out they have them, confusing. They leave, I have an appointment so I don't get to test out my washer. I'm baffled Bc the darn thing won't work. The delivery people didn't plug it in. Now c'mon. The absolute worst place to buy a fridge from to have it delivered to my home. I had it scheduled for Saturday and spent the whole day at home because they said it would be delivered form 8am-8pm and then I checked the website and it said 1-5pm, so around 3pm I began calling the store, but nobody picked up and I was on the phone with corporate and their delivery company, Spirit, but the only people who could really help me was the store and they weren't picking up. So, I drove to the store and they gave me a 15% off and scheduled me for Tuesday (3 days after) because they don't deliver on Sundays and Monday was Memorial Day, only to find out on Tuesday that they did not schedule me. So I called the store on Tuesday and they told me nobody scheduled me and then scheduled me for Wednesday which is 4 days after the expected date. Came here to get my LEVOLOR blinds cut. After speaking with the store manager Dunstan, they said that they couldn't cut my blinds because I didn't have the box and they were custom. I went home to get the box and came back to get them cut. The store manager refused to cut my blinds. They were not custom blinds. L G IS THE WORST OF THE WORST and so is this Lowes!!! Bought a dryer/washer combo for my mother in July of 2021. By Nov of 2021 the dryer was making a loud noise and not drying completely. i got a service tech from LG to come out for my mom. They ticketed the item a dud but I was never notified. Time elapsed and I called January 2023 when the dryer was basically on its last leg. Loud noises, not drying, getting error codes. I was told since it was outside of the year warranty that there was nothing that could be done. I was appalled due to the fact that there was never a follow up from the November 2021 ticket. I contacted Lowes and they they stated the same thing. They kept placing the blame on LG since LG never sent over some form for replacement. I stated but regardless of the ticket is outside of the allotted time frame, it's a ticket that covers a product from your store. I was told since I got the lowes extended warranty to just see if I can get it repaired. I called the extended warranted LG and some ill advised individual from Normans electronics came out. After doing nothing basically I was advised that the dryer vent needed to be clean. I spent $400 doing a vent deep cleaning for my mothers home and to my dismay, same results. The imbecile from Normans (forged my signature on the first ticket invoice) also come back to my mothers residency and stated now I need this and that and this and will ship the parts to my house. Go figure (smh), I must have called LG extended warranty and LG corporation 100 times in January until finally I got a Lg Presidential liaison to hear and somewhat empathize with my frustrations and finally they sent a rep out. Long story short he had to come out twice to fix it by literally detaching it and reattaching the entire unit while adding some sort of tape to keep it in place. The associate went to the back of the store and returned with the information that it was in stock and would be delivered to my home on Tuesday, May 31st. He couldn't tell me even a four hour window. So I decided to call their dispatch this morning (after taking a day off work to await delivery) to see if I could get any idea of delivery time. That's when I was informed the dishwasher would be coming on June 4th. I understand sometimes things change and people make mistakes, but any other business would have called to inform me of the change. Horrible. Go somewhere else. The lack of customer service is appalling. We wanted to order blinds from Lowes and have them measure and install them. First of all, to get a hold of anyone in the blinds department is a feat in itself. Nobody is ever there (ever). So trying to even get a measurement appointment scheduled took 4 days; and that was 4 days to just track someone down that could place a request for an appointment. I should have known right then and there to go with a different company. After the measurements were taken, I had a hard time tracking down the blinds person again in order to place our order. I finally found an employee that knew her (correct) schedule and came back when the blinds person would actually be there to place the order. (That is another thing, nobody knows when people are going to be there. Every time I called to see when they would be in, they would give me the wrong times.) We ordered our custom blinds in the store and were told they would be in (mailed to our house) in about 2 weeks. It's been over 2 weeks and we haven't heard a peep from Lowes. I called Lowes this morning to inquire about the order. The first lady I spoke to said that the order will not be shipped until September 5th (6 weeks after our order)! She also said Regina (in blinds) would be in at 10. I immediately asked to speak to a manager. Tamika (manager) said that the order was placed on the 24th but there was a problem with the order/shipment on the 26th. Nobody has contacted me AT ALL in regards to any issues with the order or shipment. Apparently Regina is suppose to contact the customers if an issue arises. Surprise surprise she didnAnd of course Regina is not in today. They won't be able to find anything out until Monday because the vebdors are closed on the weekends. So my order has been sitting at the vendor for TWO WEEKS without anyone notifying me of any issues or delays with our order. I told Tamika that we wanted to get our measurements (that we paid for) so we can get a refund and order our blinds elsewhere. She informed me that they can't give us our measurements. Thankfully I took a photo of the handwritten measurements on the sheet the installer provided to Regina. Glad I was smart enough to take a photo of them!!! Do not use them for blinds. Save time, the hassle, and money and go somewhere else. The lack of communication is terrible. Zero communication unless you take the time out of your day to call, get routed to endless extensions with nobody working them, and be placed on hold for forever, and demand to speak to managers. UPDATE - September 5th - Still no blinds. Still getting transferred to numerous people and managers with zero answers *IF* they answer the phone. They cannot even tell me if the blinds have been made or have left the manufacturer. I called and was immediately put on hold by the manager, Corey. He said he had to put me on hold because he was busy loading equipment. The phone hung up. I just ended up driving to the store to get answers. I'm tired of chasing people down for hours on a phone. Beware of The Lowes/ARS Rescue Rooter Scam run by Installations made easy The 1st part of September I noticed a small leak from my hot water heater it was old and needed to be replaced. September the 3rd we went to our local Lowes store were we have been shopping for many many years. At the store they told us they would need to send some one out to give an estimate to replace it. On September the 7th ARS Rescue Rooter came to my home, I was at work but my partner who is retired was there. My partner called me and put him on the phone, he gave me an estimate of $2,400.00 dollars to replace it with a 40 gallon AO Smith unit. I told him that the estimate was very high but if he could do it that day and do a good job to go ahead and do the work. When the work was done I got a call from him that my partners Lowes credit card was declined for $2400.00 dollars. I told him her card which had never been used was supposed to be good for $8000.00 dollars. He said he ran up against this all the time that they just dropped the amount of credit all the time. So I paid him with my visa card over the phone and he left and I went back to work. When I got home my partner had an email from Lowes with the estimate for the work to be done. Then a receipt from Lowes said we had paid them $2400.00 dollars but there was no receipt of the work done. The water heater that was replaced was not the same as the one on the estimate or what he had told me. I went directly the store and asked for a manager, a young man with a tag that said assistant manager came to help me. I told him I needed a Valid receipt / bill of sale to take advantage of the 6 year warranty on my hot water heater. He told me he had nothing in his system that Lowes had done any work for me and that Lowes just gave sales leads. I told him I had a receipt that I paid Lowes $2400.00 dollars, he the got on the phone and was talking to someone a long time. I could tell by his facial expressions and by what he was saying on the phone that he was as confused as I was about what was going on. I just left while he was still on the phone and went home my partner and I called and both cancelled our fake Lowes credit cards. I then started calling ARS Rescue Router And the Lowes number on the paper work (Installations made easy who answer the phone Lowes) to try and get a valid receipt the work done at my home. After call after call to both companies for over a week on September the 19th I finally got a receipt for the work done at my home, but it was incorrect. It shows they installed a Rheem 40 gallon water heater? but they installed a 50 gallon AO Smith water heater? after another week of calling ARS Rescue Rooter and the fake Lowes number (Installations made easy) over and over again I got the same invoice with a note that that could not give me a valid receipt because of there contract with Lowes?, But that they noted the correct product installed with Lowes? I am taking the time to write this in the hopes they future customers will not be deceived as I have been. Good advise don't go to Lowes to have anything done in your home, they are just using your name and phone number for a profit and not doing anything. Don't use a Big company Like ARS Rescue Rooter for work in your home find a small local contractor who will be your neighbor and do the work at a fair price and you will get customer service after the work is done. Im am not sure why Lowes would Deceive a long time loyal customer to make a few hundred dollars profit after the thousands and thousands of dollars I have spent at this store over the years, and lose a customer for life. This used to be a wonderful Lowe's to come in and Shop. I always thought it was a warehouse built specifically for women. Years ago the service was extraordinary you were greeted at the door, and there was always someone to help you while you were shopping on the floor. It's unfortunate that I have to post today that this has to be one of the worst Lowes I have visited in a while. While shopping today I experienced an extra long delay with check out. The delay was due to the fact that although there were 10 people in line one of the cashiers decided to go on her break and leave the other cashier by himself. He shared with us that he had called management to come and fill the till. While we were standing there we saw the two managers put money in the drawer, look at the long line of and then leave. In my opinion their leadership skills are lacking. I'm truly surprised by the lack of service or there lack of concern for all of the people in line.
