The sales staff was very customer oriented but that is where service stops! Delivery and installation per Lowe's means set up a 2 hour window between 10 and 12 then show up unannounced at 7 am. Stand around watching while the old frig is emptied. Take the old frig out. Bring the new frig in. Plug new frig in. Attach handles. Grumble that the water hookup for ice maker is inside the crawl space. Leave without hooking up water and without taking the drawers from the old frig. Never again!! Very disappointing they are not enforcing the mask mandate. When asked the manager why, he said corporate hadn't instructed them too. Doesn't the governor's mandate mean anything? Or public safety? we purchased a fan and also an installation service at a special price and we found out very fast why it was a special price. Two times there suposedly great outside contractor contacted us to set a date for installing our fan. They e-mailed us a few times to set up an appointment which was great. Not to great because they no-showed us both times without explaining a reason. We contacted Lowes both times and they stated once they turn it over to the outside contractor it is there responsibility. There contractor Handy had no explanation but offered us a $10 coupon on our next service but there will be no next service through them or Lowes. read more

We sought out to have a full bathroom remodel from Lowe's Installation in Lodi. BIG MISTAKE first off! We did all our communications with a Sunny in the installs depart and After run around after run around the contractors did not build our shower pan correctly leaving a huge puddle of water after you take a shower that has to be physically scoped out! We had a contract and paid thousands of dollars and Yvette Patt the lowe's Install Sales Manager is refusing to take responsibility for the shotty work nor are they willing to fix it but then stated they would give me a free quote to fix the problem!?!? We came in to Lowe's with questions about an electrical project and Diaab helped us from start to finish. He talked us through the project, showed us all the parts we would need and showed us all the tools we would need as well. He is incredibly knowledgeable and professional and his insight was exactly what we needed to finish our project. We are newbys to home improvement and he knew exactly how to explain things to us in a way that we could understand. Went into Lowe's to find a hanging light fixture for the living room. A real nice guy was called to help me with my project. The man's name is Diaab. Diaab went above and beyond to help me put together a light fixture that I'm sure no one has and that is very safe and looked real nice. If I could give a place 0 stars I would. This place literally have the worst customer service and the most unknowable staff I have seen in a retail environment in years. I called the store this morning to see if they had an ac unit that would fit in the wall for my studio. I was told by 2 employees that they have found some units that would fit (perfect I thought) I rushed down to the store and purchased the first one for around 550 dollars (seemed reasonable) got it home and it was too big (I gave them the dimensions over the phone mind you) so I came back to the store and was returning the first one I told the woman at the customer service desk to just hold the return so I can pick out a different one and we could do like an even exchange (simple enough) she then handed me the receipt and asked me to sign saying that she already put the return through before I had even grabbed another one. I even told her multiple times that I was going to get a different one, that I needed help getting another one and to not put the return through yet. So she said she sent someone over to help me find another unit atlast there was no one there. So I had to go searching for someone to help, only to find top employees in the ac dept saying that they didn't work in the department and that I needed to find someone who did. Finally a friendly young employee (wish I got her name, as she was pretty much the only helpful person today) found someone to help. As before I gave the gentlemen my dimensions for the ac unit and he insured me that it would fit. I get home and the unit is so small I could have almost double stacked two of them to fit where the unit is supposed to go. I call the store trying to seek help. I ask to speak to the store manager and a manager named Matt (who is not even the store manager) answers the phone and was giving me so mucky attitude I couldn't no believe it. I have been a retail manager for over 10 years and I know dealing with the public is hard sometimes, but when someone who wasnt yelling, or anything as such is just trying to find answers you don't respond with "well what do you want me to do about it." When asked how they can help me. Then the store manager Jose got on the phone and now I know why the other managers think it's okay to treat customers like dirt. I asked him why I got 2 different sizes for units when I gave 3 different employees the same dimensions. His response was "well I don't know I wasn't there. They probably miss understood the dimensions." If they are. It's understanding simple dimensions they you probably need to retrain your staff. Then he proceeded to tell me that none of the ac units they carry would fit in the wall. but that he would try to find one that would fit. He took my number down and called me back and he literally gave me the number of the first unit I returned. Please do yourself a favor and do not come to this store. The management is terrible the employees have no idea what they're talking about and not a single person wants to try to help someone. Honestly the trip to Home Depot doesn't seem so far now. read more

Today, (5/28/2020) my refrigerator was delivered to my house. Though both young men use caution and care in not dinging anything, I was giving the shaft when the delivery clowns informed me they could not install the water line to the ice maker because I needed an adapter that needed to be purchased. In addition they could not install the 3 door handles due to Covid-19 another lie. On top of all this the clowns left a mess on my street of paper and Styrofoam when unwrapping the fridge which I had to go outside and sweep up. I then drove to Lowes and bought an adaptor for the ice maker while complaining to appliance dept employee(Brenda) who sold me the refrigerator. She didn't buy the story either from the delivery clowns. However, when I unwrapped the package of bolts that came with the refrigerator low and behold the adaptor for the ice maker was in the package of bolts. I installed the ice adaptor line for which I was initially charged when purchasing the refrigerator. I also installed the door handles which in particular was quite challenging when installing the bottom handle drawer as you have to snap on side and then pull to fit the round nut while using an L wrench to secure the handle. I then called the manager in delivery who informed me Lowes subcontracts their deliveries instead of using their own employees which they once did for deliveries. I was therefore compensated $100.00 off the purchasing price for which I was in appreciation. In closing, beware loyal customers of Lowes that you may get subpar delivery service but what do you expect from a subcontractor. I hope in the future Lowes Corporate resolves this issue by going back to utilizing their own Lowes employees to delivery appliances who have the stores best interest instead of some cheap subcontractor who is lazy,unclean and lies to Lowes customers just to save a buck or two. read more

Order was cancelled without any notification, and trying to get answers from the store was like pulling teeth. Placed on hold several times and then was hung up on. I've placed 4 online orders over a period of 8 months and they still don't have the process down. Order isn't pulled after 4 hours, never get a pickup confirmation, cashiers are always in training, make sure you check order before you leave, all orders were incomplete and I had to wait for the additional items. Just overall poor customer service. I see plenty of employees walking around, but none at the cash registers, ever...I've been in Lowes all over the country, this is the worst for customer service I have ever experienced. Poorly managed store. I needed a specific kind of tile to finish a job. Lowe's website said they had plenty of it in stock. I tried calling the store, but no one would answer the Flooring Department phone after many tries. So I took a chance and went there. There I found out that they sold out of the tile the day before. Purchased a washer, dryer, and patio furniture from Lowes, in Lodi, CA, our salesperson, Basti was a tremendous help in deciding which washer and dryer we should get to meet our needs. In the outdoor furniture department the department manager tracked down the furniture that we wanted, and added it to the delivery of our W/D. We received a phone call the day before to confirm our delivery, on the day of the delivery we received a call in the morning from Daryl and Richard confirming our afternoon delivery, then 20 minutes before the arrival time received a final call to tell us that they were on their way. Daryl and Richard showed up on time, were very polite and courteous. They carried up all of our merchandise, installed the washer and dryer, tested both and showed us how to operate both appliances. They put our outdoor furniture on our patio and discovered that one of the chairs were damaged where the tie wraps holding the product material literature was installed. They offered to take it back for exchange immediately, but they had done enough and we were hungry so we said that we would put it in the car and exchange it ourselves because Lowes was right in the vicinity of where we were going to eat. When we brought the chair back, we realized that we had forgotten our receipt back home, Cassie at the Customer Service desk looked up our phone number and found our transaction and exchanged our chair with no hassle. I offered the delivery guys a tip, but they declined, saying that they worked for Lowes and that they appreciated offer, but this is their job, and thanking us for shopping at Lowes. This review is for Robert in 'seasonal' and Bryan - a loader. Went in two weeks ago and Robert was exceptionally knowledgeable about bbqs and very patient as we went back and forth deciding. He took his time and gave us the pros and cons of each for what we needed. He placed our order and got it delivered and set up exactly when/how we wanted. Went in today and Bryan just happened to be in outdoor garden when we needed help with pavers. He checked on prices, gave some great advice and placed our order for delivery. As we were going to pay, we also decided to buy an outdoor table and chairs. He helped us with that too. Robert also came over briefly and offered to help. As we were looking around in the indoor garden area my husband saw a pergola set up, found it was on clearance and wanted to buy it. Found out they had none in stock and they weren't getting anymore. Someone named Vincent came over and said it was the old model and they were updating it. We asked to buy the display. Vincent said no. But it's clearance, you're getting no more and there's no point keeping it on display. He couldn't see that, refused and lost the store a $500 sale. Then, as the very helpful Bryan was getting our order together and arranging for delivery on the table set and 3 pallets of pavers, someone he said was a head cashier (ari?) came over and criticized him for helping us!! Apparently his normal duty was to help load, but he just made your store $2,000!! So a huge 5 stars for Robert (who actually remembered us from 2 weeks ago) and Bryan who was extremely helpful. Only 1 star for Vincent and ari (I think that was his name). I'm sure Home Depot thanks Vincent as we're buying the pergola from them and apparently ari couldn't see Bryan was placing a large order for the store and a customer! read more

Here's how to shop at Lowe's; 1. Assume all employees are paste eating morons. Its just easier that way. 2. Assume that your going to stand in line for 10-30 minutes, because that is my average. 3. Feel free to cherry pick there lumber products, after all 2&Btr means that there is 1&Btr + in the pile, just pick through and leave the rest. 4. Don't buy cabinets at Lowes. I posted recently about the delay I have experienced with the purchase of a John Deere Zero Turn Mower. The Dept. Manager called me today (Saturday) to advise me my mower had arrived at the store and now we have to wait for John Deere staff to come to the store and finish assembly. The manager did not know I had requested a phone call from the department manager 4 days ago to attempt to get an estimated delivery date. She did not know that I knew it had arrived at the store on Monday afternoon, 5 days earlier (I had the tracking number from the shipper). It does appear that they delayed the notification as a stalling tactic so they could have more mowers for John Deere to assemble at a later date. Beware of the tactics used by this manager at the Lodi store. It certainly is not good customer service! They had a note with my order to call me when the mower arrived. But, 5 days later is not acceptable. read more

After shopping at the new Home Depot in Lodi, the customer service there really puts Lowes in Lodi to shame. I had to go to Lowes to pick up a few repair items. I was in the store at least 20 minutes, was passed by several Lowes employees in the store, not one of the employees asked if I needed any help. This is never the case at Home Depot. It looks like their employees are trained in customer service. Home Depot employees are always asking customers if they are finding everything alright or if you need any help. Then, once I found the items I needed, I go to check out and there is only one cashier line open with a long line of customers and self check out registers. Wow, don't they realize it's Christmas. One cashier line, give me a break! Lowes, you may have some good commercials about your store, but you shoud really work on customer training for your employees. Now that there's a Home Depot in Lodi, Lowes, you won't be getting my business unless things change for the better. read more

Not sure what its called but the handle that pulls out from my kitchen sink broke off. Took it to Lowes with the hubby in tow when we got there we asked an older gentleman to assist us since we did not know exactly what we needed. He was very short with us like we were bothering him.. And he kept asking us well what do you need? Well duh...that's why why I'm asking you because we don't know what we need!! He then called a gentleman named Juan to assist and thank God he was more helpful than the first guy! 2 stars for the excellent service Phil provided in the plumbing dept. I will however NEVER enter the store again. Management is non professional to say the least. Spent 2660.00 on 4 toilets, found a faucet I wanted that on the display wall, however it is not carried by the store yet. They just build displays, while placing no notice the item is not nor do they know when it will be available. I asked to speak to a manager ,2 were on duty. After waiting for 20 mins. I left. We are doing a master bed& bath remodel now. When finished kitchen & family room will done. No lowes purchases will be made. read more

Bought a washer here a couple weeks ago, had to return it due to it breaking down today , after a Hassel of repeating my story and situation 5 times between the lodi and Stockton store I finally was able to return it, on my own ( load unload etc) to the lodi store.... frustrating that no one was able to pick up and deliver my new one... but whatever, got me one right away I guess a good way to look at it. But my main complaint is the so so service.. no smiles, no good attitudes at the customer service except for the one lady that took the most care of me ( I death with 3 at the store) and the one guy at the appliance section ... but the rest were not so friendly and that bugs me. I purchased a washer and dryer from Lowe's (Lodi). Shortly after appliances were delivered in Aug 2021 I started having issues with the washer. Finally made contract with the company Lowe's contracts to fix the appliances. The guy came out and I was advised that the control panel was bad and needed to be replaced. I was informed that being the dryer was stacked on the washer I would need to hire someone to take the dryer off washer. I called moving companies & was told for approximately $400.00 they could remove dryer and come back & stack once repair was finished for another fee. I have contacted Lowe's-Lodi, Whirlpool Corporate & Lowe's Corporate only to spend countless hours on the phone without any resolution. I will never buy another appliance or anything for that matter from Lowe's. Horrible customer service. SO here I here I sit with a broken washer that isn't even a year old the don't work and no one cares to help a senior citizen out. NEVER AGAIN!! Was my first time checking out the Lowes here. I don't typically write reviews but had to praise the young British girl in the garden center. I believe her name was Lisa. It was a hot day yesterday but she went out of her way to help me and nothing was too much. After getting the plants and soil I needed I wanted some garment hooks and even though it wasn't her area she still walked me across the store to help me find them. She was a delight and made my day. We used to love Lowe's and love the fact that they hire Veterans BUT this one has really gone downhill! We spend a lot of time and money here on the weekends but we will now being going elsewhere! This past weekend we experienced horrible customer service, we had an older lady named Diedra who we also had a few weeks ago and wasn't very pleasant...we chalked it up to maybe a bad day, this time she crossed the line! She treated us like we were bothering her, never greeted us...then my husband asked for his military discount and she replied "oh you just want it all don't you" I about flipped...she never smiled or said just kidding or anything, then the table saw that we were purchasing came up as the wrong price, which she huffed and puffed about having to fix, instead she called on the intercom for another cashier and literally walked away from us without saying a word and went to another register and started helping someone else...we had no idea wth was going on! This lady needs to retire!! Meanwhile about five minutes later Mathew shows up and has a pissed off look in all his rainbow attire, never greets us, never says a word, we asked him if he'd like to see the sale price we have on our phone...he never looked up or replied, it was like talking to a brick wall, a rude one!! He fixed the price and gave us our receipt and never said a word. We were pretty pissed about this experience but wanted to cool down before addressing it...I went in the next morning and breifly spoke to a manager about the incident but honestly, I'm pretty certain it fell on deaf ears. She apologized but seemed more interested in whatever else she was on her way to do. What a shame. read more

Stove Kitchen aid the oven door locked, washer drum had to be replaced, Frigidaire Refrigerator ice make repaired, freezer repaired, door won't shut without giving it a good shove. I've lived in Lodi for years and every time I've been to Lowe's there's always someone I can reach to find a product in store. Quick trips, in and out, and so far always to the right product. The older employees/hanydmen tend to give extra tips too on products and projects (when you ask "how do I...?" they usually know). I was inspired to write this after just checking store/holiday hours and seeing so many nasty things said about them, which I don't find is deserved based on my experience. 5 stars for not letting me down in over 10 years.
