I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowes. I elected to take advantage of their free delivery & removal of old appliance. Everything went as smooth as glass. I learned the hard way today if this company (Lowes) sets up a service appointment do not assume they will use a reputable company. After three phone calls today and a no call/no show for my service appointment today I have to still wait two more days for service as neither company could not get their act together. I had to insist to speak to a supervisor and then insist he call the contracted company personally to ensure they were held accountable instead of just being patronizing me. I'm sure my pennies don't mean much to them... but they definitely shall never have me or my family as a customer again. Terrible customer service all around! read more

Where do I began? At the end bc I have spoken my complaints so often that even I'm tired of them. Lowe's, specially store 1153 in McDonough Ga, doesn't give a hoot about customers once they have your money. Oh, the complaint line is a joke bc all they do is send you back to the store that messed you over in the first place. I have dealt with this poor treatment since November and it's now February. They even canceled my carpet installation because I had the nerve to complain about being overcharged by $1900. I purchased several appliances on-line with a 7-10 day delivery. I finally recieved my shipment 20 days later and not all the parts where delivered. I get to try to deal with that problem today. Everytime I tried to speak to a manager, my call was mysteriously dropped for the frst 6 tries. The person who answers the phone was incredibly rude saying that I needed to call the delivery company because it was their fault and not Lowe's problem (J.B. Hunt helped me greatly and was very courteous). The end result was that Lowe's never put my name in the system for a delivery. It took calling J.B. Hunt and having them call a Lowe's manager on a conference call to get it resolved. It doesn't matter how oftern you shop there or how much money you spend, the employees could just care less about providing service. read more

On 9/26/19 the worst experience ever. Was asked by Dee rude cashier/manager to walk and get a price for my item. Because the computer would not scan. I advised her I'm disable no electric carts available. I was ask to step to the side while she checked out customers ,asked them about using military for discount not asking for ID. while another cashier just looked on doing nothing. Then after about 10 mins said I guess I will have to go get the price. Finally return about 10 mins later. Check me out I advise her I will be using military discount. She ask for telephone number and name. Which I gave my husband information Then ask for my military which I gave ,then advised me that I have a different last name and ask why. I ask for my ID back and left I told her that was so rude. As I walk out she say Oh Well. I call back to Lowe's Was told no manager available and didn't know the general manager name. They don't know. Never going back. read more

My husband and I recently purchased a new garage door with installation from this Lowe's store. To say this was a nightmare is an understatement!! My husband went in to talk with and schedule the installation on October 16, 2015. At the time, my husband was told the door would need to be ordered, and when my husband told the associate he would be taking a week of vacation the week before Thanksgiving, he was told "That's plenty of time to get the door in and get it installed". Our Lowes credit card was then charged for the purchase. Needless to say, the door wasn't ordered for 2 weeks, as we were called and said someone needed to come and measure. Nothing was mentioned at the time of the order about this (my husband had measured this, but I can understand them wanting to double check). My husband mentioned again how he would be off this particular week and the door needed to be installed then. Of course, then he was told the door would probably not be in by that time. Now the bill comes in, and of course, we are not paying over $800 for something we didn't receive. I called the Lowes credit division and explained the story about the door not being installed, and I would not pay for anything until we received the door. I also told them we would be paying cash for the door/installation, so I had the money available to pay when we got what we ordered. Of course, I was told we would have a late fee applied to our account. I explained again, that all I was paying was the amount originally charged, and nothing more. And, I get the answer that "I can flag your account but can't guarantee a late charge won't be charged". I then called the corp. office and the store management. No one seemed to understand what I was saying. The installers even called saying we had called management saying the door they installed was broken!!! Finally, I called again and talked with a customer service rep at the store and told them I had the cash money, but I wasn't paying anything on merchandise I hadn't received and the bill was due, so someone needed to flag our account or do whatever needed to be done, as we were at a "mexican standoff" cause I didn't get my merchandise from them, so I wasn't paying anything. I guess this person could understand as about 15 mintues later, my husband received a call, saying installation would be today between 12-2. I was very skeptical if/when anyone would show up, but at 1:26, here comes a nice young man to my door, saying he was with Lowe's and had come to install the garage door. His name is Dennis and he did a very good job. He started to work right away and stayed busy the whole time he was here, about 3 hours. We are satisified with the installation job itself, but will never, never, never buy anything from Lowes which has to be installed again. It's unbeleivable it took 6 weeks to get something as simple as a garage door. No one knew what was going on, and it was just an exhausting, mind numbing nightmare, which has finally come to an end. read more

Worst Lowe's experiences I've ever had have happened here. The carts are in terrible shape, the employees mean well but are overworked, and management is virtually nonexistent. I waited for 25 minutes to speak to the one available manager before giving up. Shop at your own peril. read more
