I need to replace a Toilet Flapper. I've been to two other big brand hardware stores and they both gave me, after looking and touching the old one, the wrong one. I decided to go further down the road and stop at Lowe's. WOW! What a difference. The associate simply looked at the item and handed me a new one. Well I have been coming to Lowe's at this location for quite some time now. Never returned much of anything but found that I needed to return something that had been on my back burner for quite some time. Now I was not expecting a full refund since I know it had been awhile since the purchase. I was told that since it was past 90 days, they would not be able to even give me a store credit even with my proof of purchase. Interesting as at Home Depot, they are willing to provide at least a store credit if you have your receipt and the product is still in stock and available. I am not knocking the return desk employee as she was great and was doing her job. This is more a knock of Lowe's corporate and their guidelines. Not a big deal but if you have a receipt and the product is available and can be sold again, why not provide a refund. I think I will stick to Home Depot going forward as they seem to be a little more flexible on this front. Wishing everyone a great day. read more

Should've read the reviews and I wouldn't have this headache now. RUN!! Do not purchase anything that requires delivery. Purchased a drier. The delivery guys didn't have the right clamp for the hose and said they would connect it with duct tape. Warning bells should've have gone off. But if my experience can save you then I guess something good would come out of it. First time we used the drier the hose disconnected. We called immediately and they scheduled the service call. So we're home and wait and wait. Turns out Claudia at the warehouse 3341 canceled the call and decided she would send the same guys out. She didn't tell anyone, not even the guys because no one showed up. HOURS on with customer service in 3 phone calls. I called the delivery guys directly from the number they called me. They have the day off so don't know what Claudia did with our service call. Finally get it rescheduled for another day. The agent transferred me to the warehouse 3341 to ensure they have the missing part in time for tomorrow's delivery. Spoke with Briana who shouldn't deal with customers, tell me not to worry because her supervisor CLAUDIA would take care of it. At the end of my 59 minute call I get transferred to their survey which is in a loop and I cant tell them how lousy they are. read more

A very rude and unprofessional driver who arrived way ahead of the scheduled delivery time and because of that, he was in a rush to deliver the product, left it without my authorization in the backyard, and did not install or made sure the product was functional before he left. After I contacted the driver, he promised to return to my property after his last delivery and complete his work. Not only he never returned, but he didnt answer my phone calls anymore and blocked my number so I couldnt call him. What a horrible experience, what a horrible customer service, delivery and installation services provided my Lowes. It definitely makes me think it twice before I order anythint again from this store. After that, I called the store and was transfered 5 times before anyone could give me an answer and as of right now, my product is left on a backyard without any installation. Regarding the Lowes in North Miami Beach on 163rd Street. Had a horrible experience with the checkout clerk, JASON, in the gardening department. He was very rude, abrupt and did not know how to apply the discount that I had. After about fifteen minutes of his ignorance, I asked him to get me a manager who would be able to apply my 10% discount. He finally reluctantly called for a manager, who never answered the call and never showed up. He told us to go to the c ustomer service department. I told him first erase my personal information off his computer which was visible to anybody. Instead, he left us standing there and went to another register and started waiting on customers who had been held up waiting in line due to his ignorance. After I started telling him I was going to report this situation he came back to the register and cleared all my personal information. We then went to go stand in another line in the customer service department. We got a clerk name Jennifer who was friendly, knowledgeable and knew how to apply my discount and we were out of there in about five minutes. Jason is very rude and should not be working with the public and he should spend more time in orientation so he learns the workings of the store. read more

My question to her was, does Lowes price match best buy? She advised she was going to get the answer for me. 25 minutes later someone picked up the phone and hung up. I will give it a zero if I can . The return policy at this place is atrocious!!!!! If you paid in cash and you lose your receipt.. you can eat it your item or throw it away!!! They will not return anything of any value if you paid in cash and don't have a receipt. Not even a store credit!!! The manager, Demetrice at this location refused to return a door lock that my 89 year old father bought with cash and lost the receipt. All he wanted was a store credit, and they didn't have the courtesy to give him the credit. And to make matters worse, they broke the quality control seal and opened the box. Lowes is not friendly to the elderly who usually dont have credit cards and are often on fixed incomes. Lowe's is like buying at the flea market or garage sale. Lowes used to be known for a great costumer service and their employees were really knowledgeable, not anymore. They have a bunch of young kids that have no clue about their department, 30 minutes waiting for an associate to cut a piece of 6-2 gauge; after 3 calls from different associates the person never showed up, one more thing to add on this ( the store was EMPTY) Lowest used to have employees that could give you advise about electrical, plumbing etc. Now their answer is ( you have to talk to electrician or plumber) I guess I have to go back to Home-depot. read more

Came to Lowe's to buy a bathroom lamp. I'm very glad that we have a Lowe's close to our house. This store is very well stocked, with a friendly and attentive staff. I had a question about the specific way of hanging the lamp that I was buying and Luis at the lighting department was extremely helpful. Their garden department is filled with beautiful flowered plants, I usually leave with a plant when I go to Lowe's. As much as I wanted to love you Lowe's..... nope.... it doesn't work. The store is pretty well organized and clean. When I go shopping looking for deals and checking prices on the items that I am taking. So happens to be that at the time at check out, 2 of the 4 items that were rung up at the cashier had the WRONG price. As addressed with the cashier or person helping, they say... "this is what my systems is telling me".... on the contrary there is a BIG sign that the price is on sale or the price is $9.99 for example, the price rung up to $10.99. On the second item it was at regular price. Worst of all the staff of Lowe's DOES NOT MOVE to check on the isle itself the item on sale. They ask you to get a picture with the price on the item.... like WHAT???? what type of customer service is that??????????? The customer is certainly NOT responsible for the system that has not loaded the correct price. This experience is definitely deterrent from shopping at Lowe's. Definitely not a good experience for the customer. As their motto says.... "Do it right for less".... but not at the expense of the customer...!!! read more

This store would not accept a virtual gift card received from work. The gift card had its number and pin. They said without a barcode they could not key in the number. Update went to the Davie location. Had no issue with my gift cards. Hialeah lost my sale, will not return to this store. Davie location employee are nicer and store in clean and organized. Item is 4 star. However the staff has no clue what they are doing. I placed an online order for my bathroom vanity on 4/6. On 4/13 called store follow up. I was informed that item was possibly in the warehouse but would need to call back next day to allow them receiving in their system. 4/14 next day called. 1 girl told me my order was not received by vendor yet & needed to convert into a PO. Also mentioned, their first distribution center has qty 9 & its easier for me to cancel & re-order in person. Later this day I go to store & customer service says they have zero in stock but I need to order through bathroom department. A nice guy at bathroom dept looked it up & confirmed they had 1 in stock. Since 4/8. Why was not I called. Why was I told they had none. Why did manager have to cancel my order when they had 1 in store. Not a good manager. The guy at the bathroom dept brought it out from stock & assisted us to cashier & car. I had to beg manager to not just price match it but offer me a discount for the inconvenience & their confusion. I would mention names but we all need jobs. After reading other comments seems this staff is a group that lacks in communication & needs more training. The absolute worst. No joke. Be warned when doing an online pick up here. For starters, I gave them my confirmation number and paper... they had no idea where to find it. You'd think common sense would dictate to separate items by customer/order neatly somewhere. The back area looks like a junkyard -- COMPLETE AND UTTER MESS. Nothing is organized. Boxes scattered all over the place. Employees not knowing or even CARING. The lady that attended me when it was my turn essentially gave up 2 minutes in and set me aside as everyone else focused and attended ALL OTHER CUSTOMERS IN LINE. So basically, I was last. WORST OF ALL, when I finally ask for a manager, 30 mins in, the other lady that was there the entire time, Patricia, just happened to be the manager. You would think at some point she'd have taken the managerial mantle and taken charge of the situation. NOPE. She just went along 'organizing boxes' in that filth of a room where nothing could be found to begin with. So what 'work' was she really doing? So when I engage her and explain to her the situation, instead of taking initiative and doing something or appointing someone to, she focuses on me saying that 'no one cares' and seemingly gets offended and abruptly ends the conversation, saying she 'wasn't going to argue with me'. WHAT?? I HATE COMPLAINING. It's not in my nature. I'll sit there and take things. And the one time I try to be vocal, THAT's the reaction I get from a MANAGER?? There's nothing managerial about Patricia. In fact, her lack of concern shows a deeper issue and really is hurting Lowe's keeping her there (Mark my words). Their staff is ready to assist you in every section. Plenty of cashiers and conveniently located customer service desk with nice people there whiling to help you. Ample parking lot and great schedule, open at 6:00 am except Sundays at 8:00 am. A friend told me that I will find help in Lowe's, for my broken Ac and when I went I asked one of the guys at the appliances section, he told me he doesn't do that but he personally took me with the lady in charge. She gathered all my information and sent it to the people that, as she said:"will contact me" from Lowe's, to check my Ac and give me an estimate. NOTICE TO CASH CONSUMERS - This Lowe's has a new policy, where if you pay cash and cannot produce a receipt, you will not get credit both in form of Cash or a Store Credit. They told me it was because of Covid and they didn't want to accept items unless they knew where/who it came from. Even though the merchandise I had were Kobalt and had orginal tags, less than 2 weeks old. BTW - this is not even on their Policy board, as they said this was just created recently and all Lowe's no longer allows Cash paying customers with no receipt to get credit, even if they bought it the same day. read more

Today I had one of the worst experiences that I ever experienced, I walked into Lowe's Home improvement and couldn't find that what I was looking for and after about twenty minutes or so I started searching for someone in the store to help me, I ran into two people walking together ask for help and one employee told me that item that I was looking for was probably in electrical one of several islands as if I didn't know that, the other one who paged the electrical person who happen to be at lunch who never responded or came. The two employees ended up coming back my way accompanied by at least five other employees, they must have been going to a company picnic lol, I ended up walking through the store and found a gentleman in the garden area who went beyond and above the call of duty to make sure to help me find what I was looking for, there were two other employees that ended up being helpful in the end. I don't believe in the firing of people depending on the circumstances but they need to send the Three helping employees over to home Depot and and fire everyone else and tear this useless store down for a business/company, that will really benefit this community, Home Depot is enough. I needed a specific item and couldn't wait for shipping so when I saw it available only here, I made the weekend trip to pick up my bamboo privacy shield. At first, the location of where it was supposed to be turned out false but with the help of an associate I found the stash and quickly stocked up. While I was there, I saw some solar spotlights for the exterior of my house so I got a few and I'm happy to report they work great. Lowe's is set up in a more aesthetically pleasing way than your traditional Home Depot which I enjoy. It's less industrial and has cute flamingo things in the outdoor section. It's a bit far south for me but they have a huge inventory so sometimes it's worth the trip. Check out the garden section before you leave because they have gorgeous stuff! read more

I love Lowe's products but I hate the way their stores are so under-staffed! These poor employees can't possibly help people the right way. That's not to say that most of them actually try to be helpful to the best of their ability. It's just impossible for that skeleton crew to cover that giant store. The one cashier working has to continually apologize to everyone in line. The guy helping us get a cart had at least 6 other customers to help us before that could happen. Many of the employees have just given up and could not possibly care less. Customer Service is anything but that. Returning an item was an annoyance to Genevieve, who is probably the rudest employee at any store I have ever experienced. She should not be the face of Lowe's under a sign that reads "Customer Service." She was also nasty when we were getting help with a large box we had to leave because it didn't fit in my car. Thank goodness Jose is one of their friendliest and most helpful employees. He got us our large box even after the store closed. (BTW Yelp says they close at 10pm, when it's really 9pm). Shame on Lowe's. Maybe corporate would realize they are losing customers because of this! read more

I can see why this place is a low 2 star place. Their customer service is practically non- existing. Employees don't know what they're doing and treat their customers like garbage. Make sure your name matches exactly what it says on your card or ID because even with legal name change paperwork they won't process your payment and then kick you out. This store has terrible customer service. The store manager Demetre denied to honor a $15 price adjustment when the item was clearly in the wrong place even after showing him a photo. Another manager went to verify and proceeded to fix the items before coming back with a different picture. He then tells me he will meet me halfway like it's a negotiation. Ended up leaving the item and as I head out from the store I hear Demetre talking to i assume another manager about how it's only 3 dollars less in what he was trying to negotiate ect. Made sure to let him know if they going to talk about a customer wait for them to at-least leave. Of course he made an excuse that they were talking about some balloons in the office. This is by far the worst home improvement place I have ever gone. I went in search of a refrigerator, an actual buyer, not there to kick the tires and waste their time. They have one guy who is busying selling cabinets but nobody to help. I went to the customer service area asked twice for an assistant or regular manager to no avail. After 25 minutes I left. They are a disgrace. The place wasn't busy, the other employees can only say, "it's not there section" and you are left there waiting like an idiot. I brought a clearance item to the register and it rang up the wrong price. I explained it was on clearance and the sign was less. THE HEAD CASHIER SAID SHE DID NOT CARE WHAT THE SIGN SAID SHE WOULD NOT ADJUST THE PRICE. I went back and got the sign and brought it to her. She left and the other cashier didn't say anything.
