I would like to recognize Allen (a very helpful and knowledgeable young man) which helped us order products that weren't in inventory and had them shipped to our home. Then came Elizabeth (the Breville representative) which was so sweet and helpful when asked about the Breville brand. Then came Mathew which helped us with the Bialetti coffee makers. This is probably my favorite Bed Bath & Beyond location. It's located inside Dadeland Station with convenient and sometimes cluttered parking. But the store is huge and not as crammed as other ones I've been to before. Once inside, Customer Service is on the immediate left side. I've ordered 2 oil/sauce dispensers from online before and picked up in store. The process was easy. I was able to pay and use coupons there. Other times that I've been to the store, I've found amazing deals like wine glasses that screws into wine bottles on sale for $5. A 3-pack Scrub Daddy sponges was like 2 for $15, which is amazing in my opinion. It's fun to walk around and check out what entrepreneurs, companies, and other people have invented. I love seeing stuff from Shark Tank that are in the store because it's great to see the products in person. All the times that I've browsed, the areas were all organized. Staff members are really friendly, helpful, and nice. I ended up getting the Beyond+ Membership because it's so much easier to pay a flat fee than try to find coupons for each items. I don't know about you but it's hard for me to get my hands on Bed Bath & Beyond's coupons. This company usually sends mailers out about a dozen times per year with 20% off coupons, which are definitely a bonus! I compared some prices of bath products I buy consistently, and a few of them are cheaper than the nearby Target if I use BBB coupons. I love love the bath, makeup, and nail polish section. Coming from the West Coast, where the BBB usually don't have this section, this is awesome! You can find all sorts of clear, plastic makeup organizers here too. I really like this location. I usually park in one place in the multi-level parking garage and shop at the Target, BBB, and Sports Authority all in one day. The best part about Bed Bath & Beyond are the 20% coupons that they send you in the mail. I think that they are slightly more expensive than Target but the coupons make up for it. Even though the coupons have an expiration date, they still take them even after they have expired and you can use one per item. I have also heard that they have a good return policy. Last time I came I had great customer service. Tonight I was frustrated. Just now cashier 4 at 7:35pm after she was done with a customer walked over to the go back shelf picked up only 1 item, made eye contact with me, and left the register. I was the only one waiting and she left me waiting. The other cashiers were being attentive and courteous but they were taking a while help their customers. Actually, no, I find it a lot intimidating, like I'm the Tampa Bay Bucs going up to the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field to play Green Bay on a pleasant -20 degree evening in late December. To Go Where No Curtain Rods Have Gone Before!!!! Set the controls for the heart of the sun!! Warp hyperdrive - to infinity and BEYOND!! Sigh.....no, in this case, the "Beyond" is really just referring to the fact that they sell kitchen stuff too. Why didn't they just call it "Bed Bath & Kitchen," then? This is no joke, whenever I step in here and get hit with that potpourri aroma so intense it nearly knocks me over, I feel a sudden urge to listen to '90s chick rock. It makes me want to go download Tori Amos' "Little Earthquakes" and follow it up with some Fiona Apple while I chase my Midol with a Fuzzy Navel. As my nose tries to acclimate to the smell, I walk with a purpose, trying to look like I belong here, hoping a store employee doesn't come ask me if I need any help finding anything. Because I really don't even know what I'm looking for. Alright, cut it with the melodrama already....I'm looking for towels. I'm looking for towels of reasonable quality and price that won't bleed dye or shed lint like the crappy towels I always seem to buy at Target. In fact, I tend to come here when I get the feeling Target is just not going to be good enough. But wait....off to the left, upon entry.......it's hard to believe, but there's some cool stuff here. Lots of manly-looking kitchen accessories and implements capable of doubling as crude weapons. I'm not kidding, you should see the stainless steel paper towel holder I once bought here. They also have countless knives, coffee makers, blenders, juicers, wine cellars (I would love one of those but there's no room) - good stuff, and all very pricey. It'd be easy to drop a ton of money on all this gadgetry. Then I turn right, and yup, there's the scary part of Bed Bath & Beyond, the part with all the sheets, pillows, comforters and $59 towels. My eyes bulge at the price. Surely those can't be the only towels for sale? Exhale.....wait, there's more over there. And I think it says $9.99 for a bath towel. OK. I guess I can deal with that. I love to walk into this store and breathe in that wonderful clean scent permeating the entire place (I bought one of those scent things but it just doesn't smell the same at home). And the orderliness just puts me at ease. The customer service is excellent and whenever an associate passes you they greet you and ask if you need help. I agree with Michelle that they must have a very good customer service training and they must either use cameras all over the store to ensure the associates follow through (otherwise, how do you maintain that level of service? These are humans after all. The prices are a little steep for some items (I checked out a shower head at the target one floor down and it was $10 less than at BB&B), however, they will honor the lower price if you can prove it. And then there is than handy 20% off coupon they send in the mail. If you don't have one you can always go online and print one out. Parking is great once you get past the SMV's ahead of you and go up to the 5th level which is usually empty. They do have neat stuff, the kind I watch on TV informercials, like the porcelain kinsu knife, that no doubt OJ wishes that he had, to the Tyson Vacuums with hurricane force winds! I went there to buy some linens and ended up with 500 count sateen, not really crazy about because my previous Egyptian cotton ones were better, but know doubt I could returned these sheets, probably shredded and stained (ahh yes better days) and Bed Bath and Beyond would take them back. So as far as customer service is concerned a 10 on the Andy meter, as far as product is concerned an 8 on the yeah I'd like to get that. He's not gay, or European so I can't explain it but the words" Whatever you pick will be fine" will never come out of his mouth. But we have better things to do with our weekends then come here and I'm a stay at home mom. The customer service in this specific store is great on the floor. Great initial experience, but registers is a concern. they have someone today in the front monitoring the lines or making sure people didn't steal. I am not sure which it was. Probably the second one, seeing as how there was a cashier with two people in line while another had 5. They do not look out for the cart area, people leave their carts outside and customers are the ones moving them. Yes, it is due to lazy customers but if you have so many employees walking around the store, you can have one look out for the area from time to time. I have been to other BB&Y Stores in worst areas and they look manage these issues a lot better. Please, if you are going to have someone monitoring the cashiers, have them help customers. This is the BB&B at Dadeland Station. This is a great location because of the ease of parking, the other stores in the "mall" and the proximity to Metro. Dadeland Station is a multi-storey shopping center with one or two big stores on each level. You can take your shopping cart from level to level, store to store, and get stuff to and from your car very easily. The BB&B there is extremely well-stocked and the staff (surprisingly to me!!) are very well-informed about their products. They must have a special customer service training/screening program for employees, because 95 percent of the people who work, not only there, but in every BB&B I've been in have gone out of their way to be courteous and helpful. (At the BB&B in Pembroke Pines, they even let me in after the store had closed to exchange an item!) You've got to love a store where you can go in with a price on an item from another store that's 10 percent lower than theirs, and they will not only match that price, but will then let you use a 20 percent off coupon on top of that. I got a $100 blender for about $70 that way. I really recommend shopping here. It can be overwhelming because of the amount of merchandise they carry, but it's such a convenient place, you can break it up in to room by room trips. Also, to have the convenience of Target and BB&B in one location, for price and product comparison, is just amazing! Amazing! I came here to buy tons of things for my apartment. Not only did I find everything I needed, but the employees and staff members were INCREDIBLE! Almost every employee that I passed while shopping asked me "How are you doing? Can I help you find anything?" which made me feel happy and welcomed. It wasn't annoying or invasive, it was kind and attentive- the way good customer service should be. Every time I needed help finding something, the staff members were knowledgeable and quickly pointed me in the right direction. I walked out of the store with everything from a Keurig coffee maker, shampoo and conditioner, and a tool kit. On my quest to eat healthier, I came here to buy a julienne peeler so that I could make zucchini pasta. Since they have a large inventory, it was hard to find, so I called a worker's attention. He didn't know where they had them and pointed me to a variety set of peelers. Since I only needed a julienne peeler, I wasn't interested in buying a whole set of peelers. Thankfully, my friend serendipitously found one julienne peeler by itself. Overall, the inventory here is so wide and large that workers don't know where specific items are. Bed, Bath, and Beyond (BBB) is one of those strange stores where you can just wander around looking for something or nothing and always walk out with something. If you need bedding or kitchen utensils or that weird thing-a-ma-doodle you've always never known you were looking for....they have it. Generally, everything is a bit over priced; hence they snail mail coupons that are $5 off $30 or 20% off one item. In either case, save the coupon. Bottom Line: There isn't any other store like it. Well I changed the batteries, changed the soap and it the soap kept getting stuck. I had a co-worker tell me to take it back. I explained to her that I threw out the receipt and the box. She said trust me, take it back. Nervously I showed up...explained to the girl at the counter. She apologized, entered in some numbers on the register and then ask for the credit card I used. BB&B has expanded the "beyond" section to include toiletries, sunless tanners, and a bunch of totally awesome, random, knick-knacks. They also have a nice selection on Yankee candles and usually three scents are put on sale every month. The staff is friendly and the quality of their products are high (and priced high lol). I've never been so disappointed with the quality of service at any Bed Bath and Beyond store as this one at Dadeland station (and I've been shopping here since they were merely Bed and Bath). The customer service was pretty atrocious here on this one visit, granted it was a busy Saturday afternoon. My husband and I were about to purchase a $170 storage ottoman from the store and merely requested to see a sample, which happened to not be on display. We thought this was a reasonable request since we were about to spend quite a bit that day. After waiting patiently for a few minutes for an employee to help us, he rudely insisted that the item was already on display. We spent quite some time explaining to him the all the major and minor differences between the ones on display and the one in the box that we wanted to buy. Then after finally convincing him of such, he starting yelling at every passing employee to page someone else to help us and was constantly speaking into his walkie talkie. This employee, realizing that he was going to have to help, decided to lift the 50 lb box off the shelf and dropped it to the ground creating a large thump. At this point another employee came to help but instead of taking the ottoman out of the box he merely opened the top and asked if we need any more help. We again had to request to see the ottoman in its entirety since we wanted to inspect the hinge for safety. Begrudgingly, he took it out of the box but immediately walked away and left the pieces all over the middle of the aisle. We felt kind of bad leaving such a mess since BBB is usually a neat store. If this is the kind of service that I can expect of future trips, I think I would rather go to the Aventura store or the Coral Gables store, where the customer service ranks well above this one. read more

After leaving my list at home David walked us through the whole process start to finish, acting as my other brain and thinking of things I hadn't even thought of! Personally I'm not a big fan of shopping, I find it quite tedious but David made the experience painless and easy, scanning things me and my husband liked, placing orders and looking on the internet to find exactly what he thought we wanted.
