I did not smell him ( once again, read below review) so I cannot speak to that. Hunter is helping us with some built in cabinets for the office. He worked within our budget and I appreciate that. Installation hasn't been completed so we shall see how the subcontractors do. Daniel and Eric delivered our new grill. They could not have been any nicer. First of all, Steven smelled really good. I loved my dad, but when he aged, he smelled like an old couch cushion, I really appreciated the fact that Steven looked and smelled great. I went in there to look at a washing machine that my husband wanted me to buy. Stephen walked me through the whole process and he listened to my needs. He never judged me, but through asking me questions and listening to what I was looking, for he steered me into the direction of a much less expensive washing machine. Because that model actually met my needs. Because I'm a girl and I don't really know things he really could've ripped me off but he didn't. I really appreciate Steven, taking the time to walk me through all the different models and all the different features and helping me. I had even told him that I could not buy the washing machine today because again I'm just a girl and that my husband would have to come and help me buy the washing machine cause I don't know how to do things. Even though he knew, I wasn't going to buy that washing machine right then , he's still spent at least 30 minutes explaining everything to me. So basically, if you don't want to get ripped off and you want to talk to someone who really knows what they're talking about and you have to buy your third washing machine in 10 years like I'm having to do ( uhhhh ) go talk to Steven. Everyone that works here is always super rude and acts like they are too busy to help you with anything when they are just standing around not to mention it's kind of their job . I bought a sliding glass door for my parents and had "Lowes people" install it. The door was installed and they realized it had the wrong color handle. Instead of putting the wrong color on and waiting for the new one, they left with no handle on and a big hole in the door. I have called them everyday for a week and they either never call back or they say they will send someone and no one comes. So now, two 80 year olds that paid $3800 to have a new door put in have bugs coming into their house, can't open the door, and now have cold air coming in. The derive in the lumber department is terrible. No one shows up when employees page for lumber associates. The saw has not been working for days. There are two lumber rows on Sunday afternoon that are closed of when only one is being restocked. read more

I bought two plants marked 12.99 They were a present so I peaked off the price sticker which revealed a printed (part of the plant tag) price of 5.89. When I went back to ask why this was like that the manager said they were prob on sale and now the sale is over. I let her know that made no logical sense. If there was a sale the higher price would be UNDER the sticker. Not in too. At this point I have to laugh about it. I realize the store does not have enough help. And I would bet they are not paid nearly enough to really care. But if that is the case, why should I? I can go to ACE and shop online. read more

My husband and I recently purchased a golf cart from Lowe's. Hampton and AJ were both great. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. There was a computer/technical issue with getting our temporary Lowe's card. Both AJ and Hampton spent over an hour on the phone with Corporate Customer Service trying to resolve the issue. We appreciate their patience and their help. It is hard to find good customer service these days. So thankful for the staff at Lowe's who made our experience a positive and pleasant one! read more

When I'm with my mom, we can't pass by a Lowe's without stopping in. We beelined to the garden center as usual. This location is fairly new. The plants and flowers are well organized. There are racks and racks of reduced plants and flowers located in the back of the department. These are definitely a steal. Many of them range from 50 cents to $3! These plants just need a little tlc to make them spry once again. They had plenty of employees working in this section. However when the line started to lengthen, it took a while for anyone to come assist on the other register. read more

This Lowe's in North Mt Pleasant is newer and has an excellent set up! Store is extremely clean and customer service is great! I like the lay out of this Lowe's and I prefer to come here than the older Lowe's bear Town Center! This Lowe's deserves 5 Stars !! read more

Thank you Lowe's for opening a brand new store in north Mt. Pleasant. This beautiful store offers everything you want and expect for home improvement, appliances, gardening and more. The interior is very bright with wide shiney aisles. I plan to return here soon, as I love gardening and plan to buy plants for my veggie garden. Only checkout that was open wAs self. 2 registers!! Not one associate opened up a register. The only guy up front stood there and waited for someone to come open a register. I needed to buy a large extension ladder that I could not handle on my own but since the self checkout person was helping 2 other customers I did not get the option to have the ladder bought and brought up front. read more

I go to return some trim that wasn't damaged, and with the original receipt. I also had the debit card used to purchase the trim. I ask for cash back because I need to use that money from the return to purchase a different type of trim and I know they take forever to put the money back on your account. Apparently you can't do that! And the manager wouldn't even consider overriding it even though I was gonna turn right back around and purchase something else front their store. So now I'm stuck waiting for whenever they decide to give me my money before I can proceed with the job I'm doing. It's complete BS. Other stores have the money immediately put back in to your account. These Yahoo's are tell me it could take up 15 days. I'll never use Lowe's another day I don't care if I have to drive half way across town or the state for that matter to go somewhere else. This is ridiculous read more

I purchased several storage bins from Lowes and one wreath we had did not fit into the wreath storage container. I returned the following day to return the wreath storage container we could not use; however I was told this was a Christmas item and no Christmas items could be returned after December 26th. I understand if I was returning a Christmas tree or Christmas lights or a Christmas inflatable but a storage container??? Terrible customer service. You went out of your way to not help. Thank you for offering to let me read the Christmas return policy. I'll now do more shopping at Home Depot even though it's more inconvenient for myself. If there is anyway you think this storage container that I purchased yesterday could be returned I would welcome that offer. read more

Love the new Lowe's here in North Mt. Pleasant just above the Walmart. It's so convenient to be able to pop in and get the supplies needed. It's brand new with little customers when I was there and staff only too eager to help. We needed a washer. Do you know that no Lowe's keep inventory but have it shipped from Charlotte. What a pain in the neck. Oh well, it is what it is and I will receive my washer within a few days. They have great sales at the moment due to the upcoming Memorial Day weekend I guess. Lowe's is really a great store and the displays want you to indulge and buy more so to that end I decided not to browse and leave before I bought all that I want and not necessarily need. ONE MONTH after install and still no communication from sales person. Window still broken. One window wrong size. Sales person James now saying he never discussed secured windows. If I could leave negative stars I would. Read this about windows before purchasing and then go to a company that all they do is install windows!! Wish I had. I recently had the windows in my home replaced and chose to use Lowes based on Jamie, the salesperson that came to my home, explaining to me that they could provide all the features I was looking for at a good price. I wanted windows that were Low E and argon filled. I wanted security locks to prevent children from opening the windows. I wanted half screens and the ones that would prevent small insects from getting in. These were all things that were discussed and guaranteed would be provided. The installer came to the house to see what windows would work best. I signed the contract and everything was ordered. I was called to let me know the windows would be in around the end of May. The windows were delivered to my home and right away I noticed that they were full screens and not half. The installer came and realized after pulling out my windows in the dining area that they weren't going to fit properly. He had to go out and buy wood to add to my windows. In most of the windows he purchased pre-painted trim but some of them are regular color. With all the windows being white that means some of the window trim needs to be painted. None of the windows have the security locks and some of the windows were bent. I tried to reach the salesperson and only spoke to him once. The salesperson contacted the installer several times. I left him voice mails and text messages and he responded to the text that he would call me and never did. He told the installer that he would order the half screens and replace all the bottom of the windows so that they have security locks. I have nothing in writing from him or Lowes that this has happened. The project manager for my installation is in North Carolina. He was great about responding to me after I called and complained to customer service that he wasn't doing his job by returning my calls. I had to scream and yell to get any response. I called the store manager at Lowes in North Mount Pleasant and he was helpful in that he sent me a breakdown of the cost of what was ordered but that didn't tell me what I needed either. I believe that the ordered and installed the wrong windows. The customer service has not been good. I have a broken window, a missing screen completely and one window still sitting in my garage as it was the wrong size. My last conversation by text with James Parnell the salesperson was on June 13 2018 when he told me he would call when done with an appointment. Still waiting for that phone call. I am beyond disappointed with this process. The only redemption here is that the installer did his best to make things work for me. read more

From the sweetheart that was my greeter to the people in the grille parts area to the folks outside - Diane was wonderful in letting me know how to take care of my lawn and recommended the best products to use to insure the grass blades outnumber the weeds. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had at any Lowe's anywhere. NEWS FLASH They now have a system that lets them know if you are military as they give military families a 10% discount. I bought a dishwasher from this Lowes and accepted their offer of free next-day shipping. (My contactor was scheduled for the next day to install and was going to pick it ip. But, okay, I thought, I'll save him a trip) The delivery company called me in the morning to say that the paperwork for the delivery didn't make the 5:00 deadline ( I went in on my lunch hour to purchase it. ... apparently more than 4hrs is needed to accomplish a "free" next day delivery. I had to cancel the order at this store and buy from the Market Place loc because they had the model on hand and my guy could pick it up AS WAS OUR ORIGINAL PLAN. I paid for the first one w a debit card. I still have not received my refund. (more than TWO WEEKS LATER!) 3 calls to this store and two calls to corporate office still has not resolved it. So my free delivery cost me the price of the purchase. I paid for 2 dishwashers and only received one. ... only needed one! And didn't NEED the free delivery to begin with. I wouldn't buy light bulbs from this store. In fact, Home Depot as a new customer. The worst customer service. Short staffed and not willing to help. Each staff member has their own "department" and is not willing to wander away for from their designated area to help a customer lift a sink off the shelf. Dave was the only person who put in extra effort to help, but even when he paved the entire store multiple times, no one came for 30 minutes. What makes one Lowe's stand out from all Lowe's? This one is all shiny and new. In addition, the lay out of the parking lot is different than most. It's an improvement over the usual, offering a front row of parking spaces perpendicular to the building. With both handicapped and non handicapped spaces, if you're lucky enough to snag one of these spots, you'll escape some of the masses. The inside of the store and the garden center shows that Lowe's is paying attention to the most frequented departments and places them nearer the front of the store. For example, the paint counter is right up front. Service is the usual for Lowe's... hit or miss depending upon the day of the week and the time of day. read more

STILL waiting after 3 weeks for screens that were to accompany our newly installed porch windows. Install (contracted out, of course) was excellent. But management of our project on Lowe's end has been a nightmare. Had a Cinco de Mayo party planned for this weekend, and had intended to make use of the climate controlled space for seating of our guests - but no way that was happening...because the glass door that was to be installed along with the windows arrived...but was the wrong size. Since this screw up, we have called every day...and get the same useless response..."Uh, we don't know what the ETA of your screens or door is". They won't indicate if they are still in the warehouse, somewhere lost in the store, of are just plain lost. Long story, but I'm so fed up with the ineptitude of everyone in this department including the manager. Total disaster!! I literally have the side of my house ripped open so woke up early on Saturday did an Internet order around 7:30 AM. When I called at 9:00 to double check on the order I was told it was ready for pick up. When I arrived to pick up the order it wasn't pulled. Not only did the staff seem unfamiliar with the concept of online ordering - it was as if they didn't know what the internet was. After they scrambled people and being there an hour they still hadn't pulled the entire order. Do not use the store. This is the second time I've driven past one Lowe's to get this new location and been let down. Today had serious implications because my house was ripped apart, I'm paying someone, and rented a truck. read more

Be careful. Do not go to this location on Friday afternoon or Friday night. There is no manager and there are no cashiers. You have to use one of the two self checkout registers. Then you have the person monitoring the self checkout registers complaining that you are not doing it right. Do we get a discount for doing everything ourselves? At a recent visit to Lowe's garden center, where I received excellent assistance from a sales person, I noticed a woman who had become ill holding onto the light pole at the crosswalk. Before I could cross over to offer help, a young associate came to her side, provided her with a wheelchair and a bottle of water, and wheeled her into the main part of the store. This young woman displayed compassion and consideration which should make any employer proud. Next time I return to Lowe's I intend to contact the manager and express my admiration for this employee. read more
