We bought a nexgrill from Home Depot in June of 2019 and the stainless steel is rusted like crazy. We contacted Loews and they pawned us off to deal with the manufacturer direct. Basically the mfr of nexgrill told us tough crap. You have what you have. We hardly use the grill and it is under cover out of the elements on our lanai. Needless to say we are very upset. Anyone that we entertain have told us that our grill looks like crap and we agree. Ergo we are totally unsatisfied with Home Depot and the Manufacturer Nextgrill. Do yourself a favor, buy your grille from someone else who would stand behind their product. read more

Don't ever buy an extended warranty from Lowes it's useless. Last year a Mower we purchased wouldn't start I brought it in and they make you sign a $75 repair guarantee plus charge $22.00 drop off fee. Now none of these are are explained to you at the time of purchase, plus it's not on the receipt we have either. Last year when we picked it up I was told it was bad has even though I could clearly see new parts of the fuel delivery system. They denied it and charged me $97.00 to get back my mower if I didn't pay it I didn't get it back. So the mower won't start again this year not getting fire, so I have my son bring it up two weeks ago and they tell him I don't exist in their system. I've spent tens of thousands in dollars at Lowes remodeling one of our houses. I have at least 4 separate extended warranties with them now. I called on the phone tried to get it worked out to no avail. I get in town get the receipt out of my safe and come up and they want me to sign a $120.00 guarantee and $22.00 pickup fee I refused to sign it. So after 30 minuets of heated discussion a man with a name tag of Adam walked up and stood staring at me, I asked him can I help you and he says I'm the store manager. Kinda unprofessional that his name tag does jut say he is so I'm not sure if he was. I told them to forget it and give me the money back from the extended warranty. He tried to tell me he would personally guarantee it if I signed the paper. I told him I didn't trust him or Lowes ever again. I demanded my money back on the warranty and received it and left I'll buy another mower from a Mom and Pop lawn mower shop, something I should have done years ago. I won't even go into the tone he spoke toward my wife when he noticed her taking his picture and video. The young lady who waited on me was very polite, I apologized to her for my rudeness but I feel cheated by Lowes at their lack of concern. The messed up part is my wife and I observed them return hundreds of dollars of merchandise to other customers without receipts and we had one but the difference ours was for a lot. read more

After shopping at that worthless joke of a Home Improvement Store colored in orange, and promising I would never, EVER shop at a Home Depot EVER AGAIN, I made the trek from St. Augustine to Palm Coast to this Lowe's store, and what an unbelievable difference in the two companies. This Lowe's is located near 95, but you have to make a small drive through a plaza to find it, it's located near a few other stores, but pretty much sits by itself. There's plenty of parking, and I immediately noticed how clean and organized everything was outside the store on my way in. Upon walking in, I did not see carts or products scattered every which way on the floor like in Home Depots, but a very clean floor, with nice displays all around me. Every area of the store that I visited was well-stocked, well-displayed, and easy to find what I was looking for and the prices were easy to find. The biggest difference between Lowe's and Home Depot was picked up very quickly, as I was approached three different times during my visit by Lowe's associates asking if I needed help finding anything. One time was in the appliance section, and he took the time to answer all of my questions and explain everything, answering my questions, and proving his knowledge of the subject I needed help in. Instead of Home Depot stores where the employees scurry the other way and hide, I was treated with respect and found and bought everything I was looking for. I absolutely will drive the one hour round trip down to Palm Coast to visit this Lowe's for everything I need in home improvement, because I know I will find it here, at a great price, and will enjoy a pleasant looking store with great employees, and I would recommend this store to anyone looking for the same. STAY AWAY FROM HOME DEPOT and SHOP LOWE'S!!!! read more

I had a bad experience at Home Depot so I went to Lowe's instead and noticed the difference. Cleaner, more organized, plenty of employees who were easy to locate, friendly and helpful. I will definitely make the rest of my purchases here instead - Home Depot's mess up is Lowe's gain ;) read more

Incorrect labeling. Tricking customers into buying product for full price, even though the item was mark down.. Slow response for customer help. Management doesn't honor mislabeled item, blaming other customers for misplacing items. read more

This morning 8 am I was excited to get to Lowe's early to complete a DIY home project. I had two items to return and two items to purchase. To my dismay there were no customer friendly employees at the Customer Service desk. I approached the desk and received no acknowledgement (a friendly nod or maybe "someone will be with you shortly". I waited until Angie got off the phone and asked "Can I do a purchase and exchange at a register?"She replied with a curt "NO" and returned to being to busy to address my concern. I recognize that she was on a call and noted that call in customers have a clear advantage over a customer standing in the physical store. My recommendation to future customers just call the store if you want service at the Customer Service counter or be prepared to be totally ignored by Angie. read more

Angelina was great!! Young lady with long brown hair at customer service. She was customer-issue focused and took the time to walk to the dept to get the answer/resolve. Also Brian from the vanity dept, (hope that's right name) followed up with my issue by calling me with updates "everyday" even if the outside dept had not resolved the issue. Kudos to both of these employees on my case for the vanity I now have in and it is beautiful! read more

We went to Lowes to purchase a new cooktop. The one we wanted to purchase had a 5 business day delay once ordered. Not in stock. We needed a new cooktop asap as the old one quit working. We asked the sales clerk could we purchase the display, as it was in perfect condition. They told us it would leave an empty space in the display counter and that usually its a fake. They lifted it out of the display counter, and it was a real one. The clerk then asked the store manager if we could by the floor model. They said yes! Fabulous! It fit beautifully in the old cooktop space in the house. It left a big empty space in the display counter. How nice of Lowes. Thank you Lowes for fantastic customer service. Very helpful! read more

I read reviews in which people like this store because the parking spots are large, because you can bring your dog, or because someone acknowledged them. Pretty low standards. I can tell you that, raising my 2 sons, I needed a part-time job for a short period of time. I figured, Why not go to Lowes where I can learn something while serving customers? Well, all they were concerned about was selling, selling selling. Almost no one knows anything about the products or associated processes. NOT EVEN MANAGEMENT. So, I left because I didn't like not being able to give customers information that they asked for or listening to the constant customer complaints (and not about me, for sure). Further, and more important, since moving to Palm Coast and buying a house almost 2 years ago, I have spent @$11.500.00 at Lowes on various projects (including transactions at the Ormond Beach location), including ordering doors, purchasing appliances and working with install. Time and time they get just about everything wrong. The money that they lose on so many projects is astonishing. The top-shelf, big box store model absolutely stinks. The Lowes of old, where one could actually speak with persons who knew what they were talking about, and where you could reasonably count on a product being delivered right, or an install being well done without multiple drive-backs to get the install fixed, are gone. Lowes, as a business model and as a service business, STINKS. Shame on me for thinking that they might get their act together for at least ONE project. read more

I too had an unpleasant experience at "the other one", and consequently went to Lowe's. I needed an estimate and measurements done to re-tile my master bath. They were very helpful and said I would get a call. While out working in the yard a man called Daryl called and left a message on my answer machine. I listened to the message five times in an attempt to understand the number that he left. I called what I thought was the number that he mumbled, but alas, the gentleman said that he knew nothing about laying tile. I then attempted to call the Lowe's store. For two days I got a busy signal. I then requested assistance from an operator who said that it was a non-working number. I have nine phone books and they all have the 386-585-6000 number. i even called their 800 number and they gave me the same non-working number. I am now calling the credit card company to challenge the charge of $ 35 to my card for the estimate. How can they stay in business when you can't even get in touch with them? Guess I'll just go with a "handy man" and hope for the best. read more
