I have spent the last two days living at Lowe's (not really, it just feels like that). I had such amazing service from a retired gentleman named Dean. He primarily works in the paint department however, he was quick to offer his help with my long list of items I needed. He was very kind and patient. Today when I returned, he happened to be right near the front door and was quick to recognize me and ask what he could help me with. I had a can of paint that I need an additional can of and instead of me going over to the paint area, he took the can from me and after telling me where to find some new items I needed he headed to the paint department to get my paint mixed for me. He saved me a lot of time and headache! Lowe's needs to have Dean train all new employees and a few current employees on providing perfect customer service! I've not been a big fan of Lowe's but Dean changed that! read more

I went into Lowe's to purchase a new Refrigerator. After asking several people for help we finally received some help. So I purchased my refrigerator and they told me it could be up to 7 to 10 days. The day before delivery they called to say they couldn't find it. So they ordered two more to be safe. Another two week wait! Now guess what? They don't have it again and I will "possibly" have it at the end of June. All I wanted was a refrigerator! Stay on your toes. They have lost their touch. Parker, Colorado ** Today was the worst ever to see every employee not wearing their masks properly (having their noses exposed). Had to speak to three employees today in trying to get items, and all three had their noses exposed! I mean, really !!! That is just poor management not to enforce how to wear a mask and deal with customers. One wouldn't wear their body parts out of their pants - so don't wear a mask with your nose out of it ! I am going to strongly suggest no one EVER buys flooring and uses their contractors. My story started on June 13, 2021 when I paid nearly $6000.00 for installation of carpet and tile in my home. It starts with them finally scheduling time to install a month later after had to stop to ask if they planned to install. (They don't actually answer a phone) Finally we had the folks come into and install the tile. This was the worst installation in the world. The cement board was not attached properly and the gaps were not spaced evenly in the grout. The next week they laid the carpet and it looked wonderful. I called the installation company and they came out and said the floor needed to be torn up and redone. A month went by so we called again. The company said they were waiting on materials. We called again and sent another person who again agreed the floor needed to be torn up and replaced. Another month went by. In the mean time we were sweeping up grout daily that was cracking out of the floor. Another month went by and we called. Again, the response was we are waiting on the materials. Finally we went to the Parker Lowes and the manager said the materials were there but they were waiting on the installation team to pick it up. Finally we got called by the installation team that said they were coming to install the project. By the way, now it was mid December and remember this started in June. Now to install they have to have the door open with my heat pouring out of the house. They came out, tore everything up and it looks great after being installed properly. I called Lowes corporate (877-695-7664) to ask what discount i would get and visited with Sabrina. I asked for the $1700.00 installation cost for the floor be refunded. Understand, I had 6 months of headaches, 6 months of a floor that was dumping grout all over my house, 6 months of phone calls where I was lied to. The corporate folks called back and happily offered me a $120.00 gift card. I don't want a gift card because frankly I will never darken this door again. Do yourself a favor, stay far away from this monkey show. I plan to take legal action against Lowes. read more

Poor Customer service. We purchased a range that was delivered broken. Issues: 1. Oven was delivered broken and not installed according to the manufacturers instructions, ANSI or CPSC regulations 2. Lowe's manger ignored our calls keeping us on hold until the call dropped and never returned a single call when we left messages. We called every day for a week 3. Lowe's disregard of the impact not having an oven had on us. 4. Lowe's contractor Retail Direct is not aware of the laws and manufacturers instructions regarding the installation of the appliances they are working with 5. Lowe's made us go after their contractor for remediation even though we have no business relationship with them and they refused to manage their relationship with their contractor 6. Retail Direct was not responding to our complaints but were deferring us to Lowe's 7. Lowe's was not responding to our complaints but were deferring us to Retail Direct 8. Lowe's Customer Care's response was to send a message to the very manager who is ducking us. I was hoping this would escalate beyond the store to the regional or district level due to the amount of time we have been with out an oven. 9. After agreeing to pick up the oven themselves and crediting us for the oven, they called us back and said the contractor could not make it and wanted to schedule for another day. 10. Perfectly fine, gigantic Lowe's... just like all the other ones. It's very clean inside and the shelves are well-stocked, but the selection is not always very wide. Most recently, we came in hoping to find a sale on reel mowers, but they didn't appear to have any. Even the gas mower selection was very limited; they had about three different models. Plenty of staff walked past, but didn't offer to help us find what we needed. We walked out without purchasing anything. The service really makes a difference when it comes to chain stores, and this store did nothing to impress us. read more

Trying to buy a Frigidaire side by side refrigerator. So far, ordered one in Feb and got a damaged one on April 20th delivered. Broken trays, pins, and a grease smudge (2 foot), can't be removed, inside the fridge part arrived. No one seems to run the appliance dept. Can't get help, have 30 days to get this crap returned and I have no hope it will get done. Phone calls promised, never made attempt to call me. Went in this evening with my wife and service dog to look at appliances for our new home. We were given in inaccurate information about appliances and warranties by Eric the appliance guy. Went around a little bit with Bernie the manager but got all the answers we needed. My big issue came as we were leaving and I stepped into the restroom really quick and could over hear a heated conversation in the break room next door, amongst all three of the employees that were helping us, complaining about our patronage and Eric claiming that my dog bite him, which absolutely did not happen. I could hear them saying that if they we came back with the dog we wouldn't be allowed in. I think it's very rude and inappropriate to be trash talking and lying about your customer but it's even worse to do it before we've even left the store. This is also pretty bad form considering we were going to be spending several thousand dollars there. This is very unprofessional. They won't have to worry about not letting me in again because I will never return to this location. It's such a shame that good customer service has become a lost art. Very disappointed. read more

Surprisingly, I usually try this place before anywhere else if I'm looking for home improvement supplies. I say surprisingly, because for whatever reason I continue to go there even though often times they don't have what I am needing. What can I say, let's see... I've brought a lid from a previous batch of paint they mixed for me to get another and they didn't match it properly, now I have little patches of weird beige white all over my beige walls throughout the house. I was hoping it would dry darker... it didn't. Whenever I go into this location, getting help isn't always the easiest. I usually have to search someone out. Their garden center isn't very well maintained. A lot of their trees and some of the other plants look kind of sickly or in the process of dying. Oh, and my favorite part... for some reason I always get checked out by the same older women who needs to be put on happy pills. She always has something depressing to say right before I walk off with my bags. This lady should be watering plants, not interfacing with the customers and commenting on how she hates Parker or how everyone's unemployed. There is another gal that works in appliances, that the store manager knows of, who is lazy, unfriendly and not helpful in any way. She will not go out of her way to help you. If I were to only work with June I would have given this store a 5-star. The other person would get a negative rating from me. That is the reason for just 3-stars. The customer service is horrific! The lady at the register can barely see in front of her face. She could barely pick up a 5 pound box, which left me sorting through all my cart to help with the checkout process. I guess I work here now. Then, I needed a piece of wood cut. The cashier paged someone to the "wood cutting area". I waited 8 minutes before calling the store to send a manager to the "wood cutting area". I listened to the "we'll be with you shortly" message for over two minutes. Never got to talk to anyone. While walking to the front of the store to find a manager I saw two employees to cover 3/4 of the store. I eventually found Rod, one of the managers. He explained that only certain employees are certified to operate the saw. I asked if there was an employee there that could make the cut. He said he didn't know? Seems kind of important! If you want to know the end of the story, call and ask Rod. He's just standing around, leaning on boxes and talking with other employees. read more

Came in today to return a dustpan and broom that I had purchased a 2 business days ago and used a check to by the merchandice. I found the merchandise elsewhere at a different store for cheaper so I have brought back the broom and dust Pan to the store. I had my receipt I was 100% in the guidelines of the return policy and their computer would only allow them to issue me merchandice credit which goes against lowes return policy. The flamboyant and crude young gentleman working the customer service desk told me and I quote " its only 15 dollars what is the fucking problem" and walked away. He said this IN FRONT of the less than desirable and Extremely Unprofessional Andrew the Assistant Store manager. Andrew gave me no confidence that he would address what he 100% witnessed. He also would not refund me cash for my purchase even though I was in the guidelines. Even though my check had cleared my bank. And this is the horrific almost a laughable excuse that he gave me. He says that even though it may have cleared my bank a, it may not have cleared their bank and lowes has a system that notifies stores of when the check clears. WRONG. They actually do not have a system that specifically targets my check. Actually they are supposed to refund me my money with a check unless on the receipt it States that there as a 5 or 7 day waiting. For check processing. Which it absolutely doesn't. This guy had absolutely no idea what he was talking about and he kept quoting company policy company policy and he was dead wrong in the water and this company should be ashamed having him on staff misquoting company policy because I had the website in my hot little hand I had my receipt in my other hand and lucky for me I hit the record button and I got the tail end of his staff cussing at me. What may be $15 to me is different than what $15 is to him and this conversation was between his manager Andrew and myself and he was not in it. He made AA very flamboyant and dramatic scene and then walked off. I did tell management to deal with it and I hope that I never see him in the story again because I just looked at the company's employee Handbook and it 100% is insubordination for termination how he treated me. I cannot believe that he told me that $15 was not worth its. If I buy a piece of merchandise it is in mint condition never been opened and barely 2 and a 1/2 days old I am absolutely entitled by the law and by the company to return it. He does not dictate to me what to do with my money and then to swear at me. Also the manager told me that the stock market for his company was extremely strong. I had told him that in this day and age especially during this time of Corona virus that he needs customers and to not picks them off over $15. Andrew the unprofessional and callous man then proceeded to tell me "I don't know what stock market you read from" It is public knowledge that home depot is doing financially better than this company. I can see why. It was not worth the horrific display that Andrew and his staff put on. I am not confident that Andrew will address this abusive behavior that I received while in the store. I did call corporate and put in a complaint about this guy and then found out from my neighbor bed she had a run in with this same manager. Perhaps lows should look into whether this is a good fit for Andrew or not. Because I will not be back in this store. I am waiting for corporate to call me back so I could get my cash refund but until then this goes viral. And luckily I voice recorded everything on my phone. So corporate can take a listen I will embrace it. I have never in my life since the company has opened ever had a problem with lows until today. Great job Andrew. You are definitely not getting a manager of the year award. You need to get your facts straight and not represent your company the way that you did you should be ashamed. The next day we were told that delivery would not happen that day and they could not provide a date when the delivery would happen. When I decided to cancel my purchase the store manager got involved and made things right concerning the delivery. Not only is it close to my home but the store is how many years old and still seems new. Also seems like one of the larger stores with lots of inventory and selections. I called this Lowe's store because they still have in stock some of the discontinued tiles i need to complete the project. After reading some Lowe's reviews online I felt somewhat hesitant calling, wondering how much help I might receive calling from several states away for a relatively small order. Both gentlemen who helped me (one in flooring, the other in customer service) were extremely helpful, polite, and efficient in dealing with and processing my request and shipping needs. Prompt too. Looked at carpet today (looking to replace whole house carpet), and while reviewing samples and researching pricing and such, watched the lone "salesperson" ignore me. He also ignored 3 other customers that came through. When I finally went up to him, he acted flustered, moved papers around his desk absentmindedly as if to feign busy-ness, and I asked him if I could get some carpet samples. He said I should go to their website and order samples there. Then walked away. So, when I got home, I looked online and it turns out I cannot get those carpet samples online...I HAVE TO CALL THE STORE! I tried to schedule an appointment for a measurement and quote, still leaving hope that I could work with Lowe's on this project, and it told me to contact the store because THERE ARE NO APPOINTMENTS. Loss of stars because it is tough to find someone available to help during the weekends. In addition, they need to open more checkout lanes as it is not uncommon to be backed up by 6+ people per line in a place where there is little room for lines to form around all the stuff in the aisle. On the positive side, selection is great and the quality of the products I have bought (tools, toilets, vanities, etc) were great. Prices are reasonable though their credit card promotion terms are a little weak. Wish they had a better loyalty program. Cashiers rarely even ask for membership phone and I'm not sure I have seen any rewards from my participation when I do provide it. read more

Complete unsatisfied with Lowe's and their lack of communication. We went to the flooring department and picked out a carpet we liked. We had an estimator arrive within a couple days and take the measurements. Very pleasant person, outside company that Lowe's uses for carpet installation. He was thorough and got back to Lowe's very quickly, one day. It looks me to call Lowe's a few days later to find out if our quote was ready. Keep in mind, when you call to try and get the flooring department - noone ever answers. I would pick customer service to see if they could transfer me and then get hung up on. This happened many times. When I was finally able to leave a message with CS, a gentlemen called me back from flooring and said our quote was ready and I asked to have it emailed to me. That never happened. I waited over a weekend and then tried the whole calling process again on a Monday. Finally got someone to call me back and he sent the quote fairly quickly. I had a few questions, but of course couldn't get anyone on the phone. I was hung up on yet again. I looked online and my quote was not ready to view. hmmmm. Then, I called the number available for Quote Questions. She was unable to help in any way. Said I had to talk to the store for any questions regarding the quote and when I told her my issues with not being able to get ahold of anyone and asked if there was someone I could talk to, she said "Unfortunately, No". I spend WAY to much money in this store! I much prefer Lowe's over Home Depot. Much friendlier and knowledeable staff and much cleaner store than HD. Prices are great also. I used to buy furnace filters, light bulbs, batteries, etc at Wal-Mart but Lowe's has the same or better price than Wally World. STAY AWAY! I bought a riding mower from Lowe's last month, it is now making a grinding noise coming from the rear axle. I have used this mower 3 times. I called Lowe's to see if I could exchange it for another and was told that I should have purchased the extended warranty which I was not offered when I purchased the mower. Had it been offered I would have bought it. Lowe's told me I was on my own to get it repaired. They offered to ship it out to have it repaired at my expense even though it is still covered under the full manufactures warranty, it is only 1 month old. They did not help with this situational at all. They couldn't even point me to an authorized service center. I will never shop Lowe's again and suggest everyone thinks twice before they do. read more

I will always shop at Lowes! After a horrible experience with Home Depot, I called Lowes in Parker to see if I could get a washer and dryer delivered the next day. Home Depot laughed at me but Eric Austin in Appliances was the NICEST man and not only did he not laugh, he said, no problem! We did the entire thing over the phone and as a mother of twins, I appreciated that I didn't have to go in to make my purchase. Eric hooked me up with a samsung washer and dryer delivered the next day. They are amazing AND we saved over $500 bucks from home depot's rip-off prices. After this experience, I will never shop anywhere else. I have gone back to purchase upgrades for my home and have spent over $4000.00 total there. Everyone was professional, helpful, knowledgable and so nice. Pat at the store followed me around to help me with all of my purchases and knew so much about so much! I am a 30 year resident of parker back before parker was aurora and when lowes came also came the demise of parker hardware which was awesome. They sell a line of no kink hoses which of course always kink but after buying a new one every year I decided to call them today and say I don't have a receipt my fault but if you look at your records you will see I have spent untold amounts of money at this store and would like to replace it can you cut me some slack. After being passed around to 5 different people out of frustration I asked for the manager. The manager who I really could not understand informed me that if my 25 year guaranteed hose was defective I needed to show up with the hose and receipt. within 30 days or mail the 50 pound super worthless hose to the manufacturer. I was so upset that they immediately had this attitude of your trying to scam us which I get sadly happens a ot they would not liste to a word I had to say. I went to murdochs that is right across the street thinking well at least they have customer service and no one is angry and confrontational. I purchased a washer and dryer and 2 pedestals at this location last week and requested an early delivery as my son leaves for college tomorrow morning. They didn't have one of the pedestals, but promised to deliver the washer, dryer and the pedestal for the washer today and send the second pedestal on the 23rd. This morning when I didn't hear from Lowe's on the delivery window, I called them and was told that we weren't even on their delivery schedule for today and that the computer had messed up and put in everything to be delivered on the 23rd, and that there was no way they could deliver it today. I was really upset to hear this because I had all of my son's clothes piled up and was planning to do his laundry and packing tonight. However in about 20 minutes the lady called up and said that the delivery manager had rescheduled some of his other deliveries and worked this out and would have the appliance to us before noon today. I want to give a huge shout out to the delivery manager- for going above and beyond to fix this and for being humane enough to understand my situation. Thank you. read more
