This Home Depot has its own parking lot; which I like being able to find parking easily. It looks like they already have Christmas trees and decorations outside. I went to check out their Black Friday deals. Just my luck I scored some tree wreaths for the house. Also the selection of plants and flowers is exceptional. Why can't you leave 0 stars again? Talk about a pathetic store. They encouraged me to buy and sold me a damaged rototiller marketed as new with "just a damaged box". No one explained anything, most importantly that it would not have ANY warranty since it was marked down. Allowed me to purchase under the impression the item was new and had a warranty. I even mentioned I didn't need the EXTRA protection plan as it already had a warranty. Called the manufacturer upon opening the box and finding a totally damaged unit. They immediately told me it has no warranty due to it being marked down. Awesome. Gas tank literally dented and broken, fuel line snapped off, etc. The manufacturer company straight up told me they don't expect Home Depot to do anything to make it right and is sending parts for me as a one time courtesy, for me to replace on my own time. Cool. When I tried to call the store they said yeah just bring it back and when I asked to be transferred to a manager I waited on hold for 20 minutes before hanging up. I cannot express enough how garbage their service is. I scanned one of their codes in the isle that is supposed to notify them that someone needs help. Then I waited over 5 minutes for someone to get there. After about two minutes, I went to the customer service desk and asked someone for help. Without any eye contact, they said they would send someone to the Isle. Then for another wait... I've talked to the manager a few months ago about the service. All I got was an empty apology and a "I will definitely have a talk with my team". It seems as though all the people that work there are too busy to actually help. What are you looking for? It is a huge store and without the app, you will have hard time finding what you are looking for. I do. I wish all the HD are laid out the same way but that is not the case. For this store, anything garden related is to the right of the store and you can not miss it. I usually visit either hardware or plumbing related and you kinda get to know where they are located. Oddly enough, sprinkler related items are way to the middle back wall. There is a hard working gentleman nearby if you happen to get lucky but usually helps are hard to find and having the app to get the exact location is the best bet. Lowes is closer to me but I have been trying best not to go their for plumbing and sprinkler related parts because they are always out or have sizes that are way off. The Home Depot stole from us! When having a new washer and dryer installed the delivery guys put our Nintendo Switch inside the dryer and stole it from our house. When we called to complain they refused to investigate the crime, even though they knew exactly where the drivers were on their route. They refunded us the haul away fee and then their insurance claimed that the issue had been resolved because we had been compensated and that we couldn't prove that they had stolen it when they were the ones that refused to investigate in the first place. The problem is that with the game that was stolen and the Switch cost approximately $350 and they only refunded us $100. My kids were so sad that they lost their favorite game and all the memories we had made to go with it. We gave them a chance to make it right and they refused. Don't shop there, they will let their employees steal from you and charge you $1700 to do it. read more

I've called them multiple times trying to reach took rental and have been on hold for over 15 minutes each time. Then I call and ask for a different department, explain what's happened and ask if they can get me to tool rental and after they say "hold on just a second I'll see how I can help" I get hung up on I've also gone in to rent tools and they didn't even have anyone in the tool rental area for me to rent something I needed after I've called and been told I'm all good to come get something. I've learned that many things are used electronically now and the service desk employee, Tark, explained to me that a lot of things that are being order through your phone can easily be done by phone. He also was truthful and said, "we are not the best, but we do our best to keep our customers happy as best as possible!" So, yes days can be hard for everyone especially those bad days. I had two broken vertical blinds where the reinforcement that attached to the clip had worn out completely. I had been struggling with these blinds for six months. Kerry Edwards of department 23 and 59, had an immediate solution for me. He is quite handy, and he reinforced the break with a few layers of clear tape and gave me instructions on how to re hang the verticals. I am very pleased with his service which has gone above and beyond what one would expect. He charged me nothing. I am proud of this employee and plan to return to buy custom blinds soon because of Kerry. I will say that I went in for two things today and both were only available by special order. One of the items I needed they had listed at $33 and Amazon had them listed at $4 a piece. We ordered Bali blackout/insulated blinds for 2 rooms to replace a prior order from this store in 2016. Measure was paid for and went fine. Order placed through Lauren in flooring and she screwed it up. Over charge of $1253.00. Wrong blinds delivered. Lots of unreturned phone calls, lots of finger pointing. Tried to reorder in person twice with Terri Schuman but she lied each time that I talked to her never ordered the blinds and wouldn't call to let me know, which I could have understood. Manager Tess 303-909-3680 was partially helpful but only offer gifts cards. WTF Got a full refund less the cost of the measurement. These ppl are just awful and none of this had to happen. For anyone "hiring" Home Depot for any major home work, be advised: The team and the store management is by far, the most unprofessional, most uncommunicative and will create a most horrific experience -- and all for the $$$$ fee you pay them. TL;DR After engaging 5 (FIVE!) managers, and one store "top" manager, none would return calls without constant and repeated babysitting/managing in order to get them on the phone. And 3 weeks after this all started, the horror in this project continues (ie. our garbage disposal is still sitting in a box in our living room). Read on: 1. We paid $$$$ for kitchen countertops. The HP rep took our order incorrectly so.. 2. We had to modify it AFTER money was transacted due to the egregious error by the rep. This is when we should have pulled out.) 3. Home depot: Generously fixed those errors before the work began. 4. Day 1: The hired company (Home depot sub contracts out) sent out a subcontractor of their own. He moved our stove -- and he wasn't supposed to. 5. Me (Now the gen contractor for this work): Learned the hired company - Front Range - was not going to put the stove back. They said the sub-contractor isn't supposed to move appliances, and he said he did it ou tof a "courtesy" to us. :-( (Fuming) 6. Day 2: (Stove still in middle of living room) 7. Day 2: Installers come -- different set of contractors. They don't know how to put the bar-countertop on. (!!!!) They say the measurements are wrong (!!!) But we didn't provide the measurements -- THEY did. 8. Day 2: We had to help the installers figure out how the countertop was to fit on the bar. 9. Day 3: New sub contractors come: supposedly to install garbage disposal, faucet and plumbing (to dishwasher as well). **They say it's an extra $475 to put in garbage disposal. Despite contract saying it was included. ----- INTERMISSION ---- I have been on the phone with whoever will take my calls at ALL of these companies -- including Home Depot. Home Depot was the original "Contractor" and farmed all this work out to these incompetent and unprofessional people. But Home Depot managers don't like to respond to emails or take phone calls. 10. Here we are -- 3 weeks later. For a 3-day job. Garbage disposal is still in the middle of our floor. Front Range and Delta Mechanical: Were supposed to send someone over to install it yesterday (monday). Nobody came. Nobody called us. Home Depot still doesn't know what is going on with it. I have an email from 8:30 last evening that says they don't know why the plumber did not arrive. And I still can't get a Home Depot manager on the phone: Jeremy, Tess and Kate have been 3 of the 5 people I continue to sit on hold for at Home Depot in Parker. BEWARE. read more

Needed new cabinets. Went in took us about 30 minutes to find someone who would help us. An when in helping us it wasn't much help at all. My husband and I had to do all the lifting, seeing as my husband has two broken collar bones you can imagine it not being very easy for him to help me so I did pretty all the lifting on my own. We told the lady what we had wanted and she was like oh I don't have that in stock and we looked at her a bit confused because we can see it. It was almost like she wasn't trying to help us because she didn't want to help physically do any labor, so she said that she didn't have enough in stock when we visibly counted it an she did. Home Depot is now hiring illegals and refuses to address the issue. I went in for two fence boards that I wanted cut to size. Naturally, the two millenials who were helping me didn't know how to use the saw. They went to get someone to cut my boards. I waited and waited. Finally, a latino man shows up. He doesn't speak one syllable of english. I brought photos showing measurements of the cuts I needed. He couldn't read it. I had to go up to the saw and show him where to make the cuts on the measuring tape. He had no safety equipment on. He made the cuts and threw the scrap in the corner and never asked if I wanted the expensive scrap. He could see I was pissed and high tailed it out of there. I talked with 2 snotty managers about the issue. They said, "This is the new normal. Get used to it." I told them that they were mocking every veteran and soldier who has risked life and limb for this nation to include my father who was a Korea vet. They said, "No, we're not mocking them." One of the managers who I called said, "I don't have time for your politics" and he hung up on me. I called customer service and had a ticket opened about the issue. The customer rep pretended to be concerned. He said I would hear from someone in 24-48 hours. Nobody called. I called back. The customer rep said that the previous customer rep closed the ticket shortly after we hung up. She re-opened the ticket and said promised that someone would call in 24 hours. Nobody has called. This is just a normal home depot, and you get what you expect. Just... A regular home depot. We have been stopping by here often or just ordering online lately. It's a decent sized one so you can find a lot that's in stock and available for pick up quickly. Once you order online they're relatively fast at getting orders ready, which is nice. They try to enforce masks but so many people just wear them under their noses... We recently got paint from here and it was a bit of a hassle. We already knew what we wanted (had gotten samples of everything so had their codes), gave the codes to the employees, told them we wanted all in eggshell... And somehow one of them ended up in a different base with primer... I'm not sure how, probably just a tired employee. It happens. We all make mistakes. The slightly annoying bit was that they were telling us it should be fine and we prob won't be able to tell the difference and we should just purchase what they prepped. OK... I'm literally buying some of the most expensive paint you have already, I'm buying decent amount of gallons and I'll be using some of these paints in the same room for an accent wall. How would I not notice the difference? Of course I would! Anyway they just kept insisting we wouldn't, but finally we were able to explain that no, we want what we ordered. Once we finally had what we wanted we went to checkout. There was a deal going at the time, $5 off per gallon and of course, it didn't register at checkout. Husband didn't notice and paid for it. It might seem a small amount but it adds up though, you know, especially when you're purchasing a lot of stuff already. Thankfully the customer service lines move relatively fast despite being out the door at times. We waited and were able to get our money back but it was just extra time I'd have preferred to spend elsewhere and not at hope depot. I just have to say how wonderful and how helpful everyone was at this Parker location. I went today to buy a Christmas tree that came with lights. The one I initially got was a display. Once I got home with it, part of the lights weren't working. I went back to get a refund and buy a different tree. Again, I had to get a display tree because this too was only available as a display. So many employees helped me from start to finish and I had to send a thanks that counts!!! All of you were incredible with assistance and checking out and because of this...I will do my best to support this Home Depot location. Thank you again for going above and beyond! In recent years I have found myself shopping at Lowe's considerably more frequently than Home Depot. This is because I had a run of visits at Home Depot where I could not seem to find anyone to help me, and the merchandise was none too easy to find in a quick or logical manner. So, I decided to pay a few cents more for a somewhat better service level from Lowe's. My most recent visit to Home Depot in Parker restored much of my faith in this establishment. I need an adapter for a project right away. A quick internet search pointed me to Home Depot. I called the Parker one, picked the department I needed, and my call was answered on the second ring.
