Visited PSL Lowes Monday night, thankfully very slow however finding help was just as slow. Mostly younger kids/adults working without much supervision around. Needing some closet maid shelving cut nobody around to help do that and the kid that finally offered had never done it. Found another guy having a snack down one of the aisles, asked where I could find singular towel hook advised the same row 39 that 2 others offered with the faucets where you can only find the $25 boxed Delta fixtures. I ended up finally finding those on the aisle where all the cabinet pulls etc are. I have also visited Stuart location twice in the last week as we are putting a new home together and same issue, just nobody available. Ordered tile to pick up it was not ready, I was advised they were sending someone back to go out and get the truck pulled up I waited for about 20 minutes finally went in and the cart was just sitting up by the front wall, had to get someone to "officially" check it out and that was a cluster as well. Unfortunately these big box stores are a must for some things but for others there is Amazon sadly. Just moved here from Colorado and the stores there react very differently. Horrible customer service. Port St. Lucie store never answers the phone or follows up on a case. Online chat refuses to deal with delivery issues or refund your money and just refers you back to the store. An under $20 item was missing from a delivery and the only way I could resolve the issue is with a charge back on my credit card. The absolute worst online\chat customer hostile customer service. I brought 2 propane tanks to be exchanged . One was empty and the other was a full defective tank. Both were previously exchanged at the same Lowe's. Customer service refused to accept the defective tank which is against. Blue Rino Policy. Customer service says if it's past 90 days it can't be returned which is ludicrous for a propane tank exchange . And as far as speaking to anyone with authority , they always seem to be in a meeting. I have often in my past gone to Lowe's because personal service was taken seriously as is their support of veterans!!! Honestly that personal service is no longer around. My LG Washer & Dryer were delivered 3 days ago to new house in Vero Bch. Purchased these day after Black Friday. First went to the HDepo across from this location. Other customers that were there in the Appliance Dept. disclosed to us, complaints about the customer service. Delivery, installation, poor Customer Service. I was very surprised. Pretty much. Left right away went across the road to Lowes. Lots of choices and different brands. We were looking. Angie, asked us if we needed assistance. She is Knowledgeable about the products. Very friendly, great people skills. Including manufactures and features. We opted for the LGs. I love how quiet they are. Maytag(On Sale) was less $ then these. ONE THING, totally turned me OFF. They all had plastic on the bottom of the Washer Drum. I wanted all Stainless Steel. In my past experiences with different brands. Plastic, either in your Washer or Dryer. Starts to fray(small rough jagged tears) This will tear your clothing. Specially, knitted or soft clothing. Towels will end up looking like rags. My LG Washer & Dryer were aprox $1,200. On Sale & a 10% Military Disc. The Discount we reinvested in the purchase of the Dryer tubing & Delivery Fee. Worked out great. Angie was fantastic. Delivery & Installation were excellent. Lowe's arrived on Sched. Day. On time. A professional Install. No, problems. Now, My LG's Sing an Electronic Tune when they are done with Washing or Drying. They can can also be set with your phone. Wash & Dry when your away. No you will not get your clothes transferred from Washer to Dryer LOL. As for me personally. So glad I decided on this Lowe's. I recently visited the garden department. I had questions regarding a Powdered Puff Tree that I had recently purchased and planted using the instructions the local nursery where I purchased it gave me, and the tree wasn't doing well after planting her. I visited another nursery who gave me another set of instructions regarding the soil and that too didn't work. When I visited Lowe's that evening I was hoping they could help me and I met an employee in the garden department named Mohammad. He was amazing. He has an advanced degree in Horticulture and instructed me exactly what I needed to do. He was an encyclopedia of knowledge and so kind and so helpful. Rarely does this kind of service exist anymore and rarely do I come in here to fill out a review, but this time I felt the need to share the great customer service Mohammad gave my family and I hope to come back soon to shop there and ask him more questions. The instructions he gave me was exactly what the tree needed and the Powdered Puff Tree is on her way to becoming a beauty in my garden. read more

Another store only had them in 16' and I was supposed to cut them myself, when across the street and Lowe's had them in 12', much better for transportation. 4 stars not 5 because now after 6-7pm they are very thin on staff so not much help in the store. read more

Last year, we purchased a ride on mower from Lowe's St Lucie West. After 6 months it quit working. They came and picked it up and somewhere along the line they misplaced my ride on mower. After admitting that it was their responsibility, they replaced it. With the new one, after 6 months, it did ttheexact same thing. We were told to call a certain number to request a repair and we were told it would cost $300 to pick it up and have it delivered. We went to Lowe's and spoke to Mario. Please note that if you ever have any problems with any products at Lowe's... See Mario. He refused to give up until the problem was solved. Mario pulled up Ella ride on on his computer and showed us all the things we should check on the mower. Even though we thought we checked everything, it seemed that there was a few things that we missed. Thanks to Mario, it's up and running. We are senior citizens and $300 to have the lawn mower picked up and brought back was not something we could pay. He was the most helpful person that I've ever come across. Thank you so much Mario. I went to get a very basic need of 25 bags of land scape rocks which was in stock. My issue was that as an older guy that has had 2 back surgery I asked to get 1 of these 2 young guys to assist. Terribly managed. Stood inside for 30 minutes while at least 5 employees walked by me and would not even try to help he spend 350 dollars on a grill, it was not they're' department " . When I finally got a cashier to go out front to let me look at the grill , I noticed that they were all rusty already, and that they were not in new condition. I was told that they sit in the rain, that's why!and that they would put one together for me in a week. No worries. Lots of chatting, I can be patient. Never once did this man acknowledge our presence or apologize for the wait. Got an attitude when we asked for help. During our stop for lumber and misc parts, we found it to be very difficult to find staff to help us. There were other groups of customers searching for the girl at the counter and just overall not very friendly. Home depot has workers constantly asking if you need help, smiling amd greeting you. When we found someone to answer our question, they responded very snippy and fast. Lowes does have a great plant department and better displays for furniture and lights/fixtures, but I really wish they had the customer service like home depot does read more

I decided to paint the out side of my house. I bought a 5 gallon paint which was recommended by the paint person after giving them my square footage of my house. I ran out of paint and bought two extra gallons. Came home and started painting and finishing the walls. This morning I noticed it was a different shade from the other paint. I went to Lowe's and the lady in paint department said they where not shaken properly in the machine and that I should off stirred them (which I did). All she said was that I need to repaint (which means I will have to buy more paint ) and it should be fine. I trusted Lowe's with my paint and they should off made sure I had the right shade and that the paint was shaken well before giving it to me. read more

The overall customer service at this location is absolutely horrible. Had numerous things to get this day, but when I needed help locating a specific item, no one could help- numerous employees saying everything from they are going on break, it's "not their department", they will find someone to help (which no one ever did). I was walking up and down the main isle praying someone would help when I see a man stocking a shelf. He said well he thinks it's in isle 8. I go there, and nope- not even close. So I go wander around aimlessly again w my 3, 4 and 5yr old in tow, ask 3 other employees no no avail, then find the same "isle 8 guy" who says well ok check isle 12, but if it's not there we don't carry it and you'll have to order online. Well it wasn't in 12 either, but finally ended up finding the section on my own- with a massive plethora in stock (no need to order online- he clearly just didn't want to be bothered). Then it was time to cash out, but only self checkout was open and the woman had no idea how to manage the checkouts. She kept saying very loudly that she can't believe was "left there alone bc everyone else was on break". EVERYONE was complaining about the cluster going on. It seriously took me 25+ min just to check out, then low and behold not one, not two but THREE items all rang up incorrectly that I noticed, all prior to paying. She said I needed to pay first then go to customer service to get an adjustment. Again, another line with 3 small kids. So I follow her directive and pay, go wait in line again for seriously another 10 min (I was first in line but still took this long bc 4 employees were behind the desk all chit chatting with each other- and by this point a line behind me formed and all of us customers standing there witnessing this in disbelief). Finally someone looked up and she seriously/abruptly said "what are you here for?", so I walked over and explained my situation, she then scanned the items, compared to the receipt and said nope they rang correctly for the price. So again, with 3 small kids now seriously acting up at this point, I walk back to all 3 departments and take pictures of the signs for the items, go back to customer service and wait yet again. When it was my turn again she at first debated, then I zoomed the pic in on the signs so she could see the sku's did indeed match the items. I also started crying out of massive frustration w the unbelievable lack of service this entire store has. She huffed, puffed, and gave a credit that was higher than I actually deserved, then making sure she told me this and said "ok ma'am? Ok? Have a nice day". I said threw my tears umm, I wasn't asking for more than I deserved back, just what was advertised. She said again "Ma'am, I said have a nice day! It's time for my break now." and she trotted away while I stood there in disbelief... I walked to my car and started sobbing. My kids all say now Lowes is the store where no one wants to help you, and it's the store who made mom cry. What Lowes didn't know is although that day I only spent $225, we are also getting new floors put in so the day in question I took some samples home to consider. There is NO WAY IN HELL I am giving Lowes any more of my money. Just signed the $8k contract with Home Depot yesterday to have floors installed. We also need an entire new kitchen appliance pkg, so looks like Home Depot is also getting that business as well. Don't ever frustrate a mother so much that she cries in front of her children, as you will most certainly never see 1 dollar of her money again. read more

We had the pleasure of working with two, very pleasant and helpful women in the appliance dept. .Their names are Angela Grace and Katie Rivera. If we hadn't sold our home in Port St. Lucie, we would not hesitate to seek their help at this location. Trying to find help is crazy in this place. I went to this store with intentions of purchasing all new doors for my house. I had a couple of questions regarding a couple of different options for my front door. (Why spend $700. if a $400 dollar door will work). I finally found someone, asked if he worked in doors and he informed me he was the door man. He was not with a customer, but never would look up from his phone/device or come down to where we were to help us with our questions. We finally left our cart with our other doors already loaded, and went to the Lowe's on US1. They are so rude , no customer service , just keep putting you on hold, I ordered a doggie door which right off the bat I should've known not to do business with them when the guy didn't even want to do the order told me to go home and do it myself online, but finally he did it for me. Long story short, waiting three weeks the girl calls and says you're gonna get a notification that the door but disregard it we have to re-order it. There was something wrong with the order and it never came to our shop. Waited a week been calling, their customer service will not give you their names. They are so rude they throw you on hold. I finally got a manager. His name is Junior. He honestly didn't want anything to do with my conversation because he's gonna be off for the weekend then I told him how I felt he told me he was sorry and then he did try to contact the company and told me to call call back the next day and speak to Mary, which I did and she's off today. Now they put me on hold three times because as soon as they start to hear my story, they say it hold on and then they never come back I would never ever do business with them again I even tried to come in here when I first moved to buy all my appliances which was over a $10,000 kitchen stuff that I need it. I walked out because the girl was so rude. I ended up at Home Depot which I love they took care of me. I got my stuff for $3000 cheaper with the nicest care if you're smart just walk across the street from Port St. Lucie West and go to Home Depot cause this store is awful. read more

I grabbed a plant off the clearance rack and I had advised an employee there was no price tag and I want to make it easier for cashier so they do t get backed up, employee tells me it's fine they will get a price for you. I go to check out let him know there's no price, the cashier asked his manager who is standing around talking and says where's the decorative pot, cashier explains I got it off the clearance rack, this manager says no she didn't mind you manager has not acknowledged me or said anything to me directly but I can hear her. I informed the manager I did grab it from why acuse me of lying? She didn't acknowledge me again and told the cashier he can't sell it to me.... Ordered a cast iron bathtub to be delivered on February 19; and was delivered as promised. However, the delivery person was carrying his cellphone in his left hand and the tub on a hand truck with his right. As he approaches the front door he almost drops his cellphone and in the meantime he damages the front door with the tub. I took photographs and documented the damage on the deliver sheet. The delivery men wanted to repair the door but I'm not certain if what they wanted to do was correct. Why did they not follow protocol and report the issue? I don't know. Was a claim ticket opened by Jim Smith? I don't know. Corporate can't even tell me. Apparently, the protocol is for them to contact a manager and start a claim. Did that happen? Of course not. So, I called Store 234 and spoke with Jim Smith. He stated he would start the claim. I was given his cellphone number and was asked to send over the photographs. That was done immediately. I have tried to contact Jim Smith, for days, left messages on his cellphone and with customer service. Still no return call. Okay, now I called Corporate and this has been escalated. Worst customer service ever. The store's automated system called me 5 times and scheduled delivery of my clothes dryer on 5 separate days, and it never arrived. Each day, I went to the store and spoke to a long list of managers, and was given every excuse possible. The dryer finally showed up damaged on Day 5, so I refused to accept it. Then I had to visit the store two more times and wait for a store manager to verify and issue my refund. They have lost me as a customer. read more

Since the covid scare I have been using curbside pickup for my needs. Lowes in st lucie west is the absolute worst for this. I have been hung up on. Over an hour wait and I'm the only one here for curbside. Rude employees. This will be my last purchase from them. Home Depot is across the street and their curbside is 100 times better. All the terrible customer service reviews are true. My wife and I saw the grill we wanted and wanted to get 2 containers of propane. Simple , right? Not so much. First got sent to "Customer Service" from the one checkout person, and met Deb. Deb seemed to be having a bad day. She huffed that we should never have been sent to her, and called the person overseeing grills on the intercom. That person didn't now why we were sent to her, wrote down the SKU# and sent us back to the first person we talked to at the checkout. After spending over $500 bucks (which seemed like a burden to the employees employed there), the checkout lady then calls the oh so annoyed Deb again to unlock the grill and get the 2 propanes. Deb cold stared and scowling, reluctantly gets us one propane. I told her it was two. This seem to set her off to further grumble under her breath. Then, and wait for the climax, I asked her to unlock the grill we had bought she lost her shit. Tells us that this isn't how things are done, along with a bunch of other things that weren't relevant to a paying customer. When I asked if she had the key, she did. Totally a waste of time throwing a fit, and a loss of a future client. We decided we wanted a Blackstone, so we ordered one for pick up at Home Depot across the street. For the 'Debs' of America out there in the land of retail, don't forget you rely on sales. If you hate your job or servicing the paying public, go somewhere else. I am a veteran and had no problem signing up for the veteran 10 % discount and the system is easy at checkout simply mention you are a veteran they will ask for your phone number and you automatically received the discount a salute to Lowes which was one of the first home stores to offer this program. Home depot veteran program is what ever they want to do at the time and shows very little respect to veterans I have used home depot a few times due to choice of wood every time I had to bring in a copy of my DD 214 discharge papers and even then I would get a hard time twice I told the cashier call the store manager how about I buried my Army disabled son several months ago that died from his injuries while fighting in Iraq yes I received my discount but I should not have to go through this such disrespect from home depot I am a Loyal customer to Lowes. read more
