I tried ordering a refrigerator on the app and could not so had to cone in which is always frustrating because they have so many employees but nobody can ever help you because they are working in the aisles or today two women talking at the check out and could not be bothered with a customer obviously ugh. I was there for an hour asked four employees in different locations saying i want to purchase a refrigerator and the older guy who has one red eye who told me no he does not work that area when i first asked an hour later after being asked by the front asked me if I needed help and i told him you already told me you were not going to help me so I am going to Home Depot and I did and within fifteen minutes had one ordered online and its coming soon! Today at 5:00 PM at the Porterville Lowe's I was treated Was such disrespect by a manager that was called by the employees to help regarding a washer and dryer that we bought two months ago it was kept wrapped up until today and we realized that the conversion kit that they gave us for the gas dryer was the wrong one when we went in there. The employees were very nice trying to help, but when they called the top manager, they called her. She was just horrible. Said she wasn't going to help us. She didn't know what she was talking about said she could get a conversion kit and you can't then she said well I'm not giving you your money back and if I even allow you to bring them back, you have to bring the washer and dryer back yourself and they better look brand new or I'm not gonna do anything for you. The employees looked embarrassed and horrified and so were we I own care homes and I spend a lot of money there on appliances and really everything I really never cared for Home Depot And now I just don't know what to do but you need to know that she was absolutely horrible. It was great there, i was able to find what i needed and i didn't have any struggle finding anything I needed while there. They were playing good music there too which was very comforting. My family frequents this location often for items when our home needs repairs etc. We have never had issues with the staff they are usually pleasant and helpful,although the other night we had a trip there to purchase a few items. Customer service was horrible,this female worker with the name "Yuli" on her name-tag was very unpleasant . I was with my man and he received nice treatment from her,eye contact and long follow up responses when he had a question.As for when she spoke to Me, it was the complete opposite it was as if she couldnt bare to be bothered and i felt it was terribly unprofessional. "Yuli " had a horrible attitude at check out and when I asked questions in regards to return policy she responded with one worded answers leaving me to fill in the blanks and just stared at the screen not giving me eye contact . She was not very helpful. Not to mention my son whom is only 4 was sitting in the cart and was trying to have conversation with her and she was bluntly ignoring him which i felt was beyond rude. What happened to human decency? This whole visit was just bothersome,i stood my ground and continued on and didn't feed into her BS i even thanked her and gave a smile as we walked out after purchasing,but i will say i hope the next time we go she is NOT who rings us up! Don't bother. Incompetents management and lying delivery people kept delaying delivery for a a month and a half. Said they would be sure to deliver and then re-schedule on delivery day. Also they let you order things you can't get online a and don't even know they can't get them. They then keep re-scheduling delivery without anyone checking if the product is available. I bought a bbq online for Fathers Day. I ordered it assembled, and ordered it with lots of time. I was told it would be ready same day for pick up. I called that afternoon to check before I came to get it. They told me it would be ready the next day. Here I am, two days later to pick it up and the BBQ is not assembled AND they cannot find it? I have been waiting 45 minutes and they still cannot find it. This lowes location needs some Serious training and improvement. I drop into Lowe's looking for wire cutters to cut barbed wire and old cattle fencing. It is a heavy gauge wire. I look around at all of the people in the red vests thinking, "I need to ask a cowboy." I walk around taking an inventory of the staff: 20-year-old guy, no. 20-year-old guy, no. 12-year-old-looking guy, no. 60-year-old woman, no. 65-year-old man, yes! I walk up to a large, gray-haired man and tell him what I need. He is charming and on top of it. He walks me down the aisle and comments that he is an electrician. He knows exactly where the pliers are for copper wire but confirms that I am really cutting an old cattle fence and says, "What you need are pliers for steel." He walks up to the 60-year-old woman and says, "She needs pliers for steel fencing. Which pliers do you recommend?" Like a knife in my heart. Convicted! read more

I normally do not do reviews, but because I have had such a poor experience with Lowes Protection Plan services, I have decided to do a review. I purchased a refrigerator in May 2021, and in March 2022 the ice maker quit working, Lowes sent out an appliance repair technician from Bakersfield to review it, he worked on it, and has been out 2-3 times per month since which has been 7 times to finally tell me it is not repairable. So I have to deal with Lowes protection plan now, which is giving me nothing but the runaround. I am promised a refund and I will receive an email, but no email ever comes. When I call (4 times now), I am asked the same questions and it has gone through, then I am told by someone else, I don't have anything, blah blah blah, even when I have a claim number. I spoke to a supervisor who made sure it was processed, and told me I would get the email with an e-card, have I gotten anything, nope! So, I call back, and I get the same runaround. I finally filed a complaint with the Bureau of Household Goods and Services. This is ridiculous, the service plans are not cheap! While the store itself may be okay, the service plan by Lowes reflects directly on the store as a whole. read more

No other employees were present except for this man with disgusting long hair who refused to help me cut wood (he was cutting wood previously without a problem) I had to wait 30 minutes until another employee helped us while the other rude man paced back and forth doing absolutely nothing. Lowe's in Porterville is a joke along with their contractors. I sent up and measuring appointment. The contractor never showed up. He then tried to schedule his own appointment. I passed and rescheduled for what fit my work schedule. Fast forward, I paid the $1078 in full. I was contacted with an installation date and time. The contractor called that day stating his was just picking up the carpet before he comes. That was in the morning on April 14th. He NEVER shows. So in the afternoon I call porterville Lowe's. I get sent to different departments. Finally someone with a brain sent me to installations. However she was at lunch but she would call back once she comes in. LIES! I never received a call back on that day or today ! I called corporate at 1. She claim that since I made a in store purchase she would have to do a conference call with porterville Lowe's with me. That she would call. Nope again! No call back. In the evening, my dad tried to call. He spoke to the manager. Which that bastard claim he had to talk to me and that he would call me. It is 9:54pm the next. He never called !! I also called corporate today. The lady said the corporate lady before her never filed a claim about my incident. Which this one did file one for me. Looking for a tool so I asked male clerk for what I thought I needed after waiting for him to finish with another customer he stays in area but doesn't come to help me. I then approached him and he reluctantly tried to answer my questions. I told him to show me so we walked over to tool area and he still wasn't understanding so we walked over to appliance so I could show him what exactly I was talking about. He looked and then said he would be right back and 10 min later as I waited and watched 2 other clerks stand around having conversation with others and not one asking me if they could help then FINALLY a clerk came and asked if I had been helped and I told him that the white haired older gentleman that was helping me left and never returned and then he stepped in and helped me with what I needed. I found the need to review this Lowes due to disappointment on the install of window treatments I purchased several months ago. I was satisfied with the associates who helped me with my purchases but the install has left me very dissatisfied. After several visits to my home I still have one set of verticals that do not work properly not to mention that this set came with a marker stain across the blinds. This set came from Levolor blinds and I'm sure that stain happened at the manufacturer. The last person to come to my home was Erin. When he left he said he would need to get a part to fix the blinds that weren't working and he took pictures of the stain. I have not heard from him since. I spent a significant amount of money on these blinds and expected much better service than this. Extremely disappointed and would go through a different t source if I could do it again. read more

I chose Lowe's for a full kitchen remodel after their designer assured me that she would follow up daily with the contractors, that the project would go smoothly and quickly, and that I wouldn't have to do all of the GM work that I usually do when I put together projects with my own sources. She did a fantastic job of helping with the plan, the appliances, the countertop, the cabinets and all of the details that I would not have thought about in advance. However, she left before the project started and the contractors Lowe's had chosen were horrendous, continually creating problems. But Lowe's really means what they say when they say they are there to support the customer. They paid for all of the corrections, quickly, and treated me and my project with respect. The process wasn't as easy as I had hoped, but in the end I have a beautiful kitchen that was reasonably priced. If you think you want to go with Lowe's installers, do your homework and get recommendations for whom they suggest, first. Then, communicate regularly with your contact at Lowe's. Brittney and Joe were particularly helpful; and Chris, Jaime, and Liz also offered support. The Lowe's team really wants what is best for us and will go out of their way to take care of you.
